11 TH ANNUAL MONTAUK TRIP

Our Signature family invaded Montauk for two days of relaxation and fun. There was no shortage of love, laughs, & amazing memories. It was great closing out the summer season with so many of us together. We’re already looking forward to next year!

SURFER’S WAY OUTINGS

We hit the beach again this summer with Surfer’s Way in Long Beach! With some help from Contour Mortgage, the kids & volunteers had a blast surfing the day away. Surfer’s Way is a nonprofit organization designed to offer children with special needs the opportunity to experience the exhilaration and liberation of surfing. We’re honored to be able to sponsor this event again and we can’t wait for next year. Thank you to Elliot and everyone else at Surfer’s Way for all the incredible work they do to bring the joy of surfing to so many amazing kids!

LONG ISLAND FIGHT FOR CHARITY BOXING EVENT

We’re so incredibly proud of our agents Jose Padro & Keith Dawson for participating in the Long Island Fight for Charity boxing event! These two champs got in the ring and braved the competition to help raise over $30k for Long Island-based charities!

BUILD-A-BACKPACK

Every summer our agents get to work collecting backpacks and school supplies for our annual Build-a-Backpack program. Our goal is to help kids get ready to go back to school with everything they need to succeed. This year we donated over 250 backpacks filled with supplies to United Way of Long Island. Thank you to all of our agents & friends who donated supplies & volunteered their time, Signature Cares wouldn’t be possible without all of you!

NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! We celebrated National Ice Cream day with ice cream parties at all of our offices. It was the perfect treat on a beautiful day.

Yvonne Giovinco’s daughter, Stephanie Giovinco, passed her Art Content Speciality test in August. She has now started her student teaching placement at East Northport Middle School Art Department.

Nicole Aretz’s son, Justin Aretz, married Shawna on July 21st at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami.

Marty Grace Ambrosio’s daughter, Jennifer McCullough, is running in the NYC Marathon in November representing the American Heart Assoication on the Heart and Stroke Team for her husband Reed.

Kaitie Monda and Rob Peppard welcomed their first baby, Nolan Robert, into the world on September 4th, at 6lbs, 2oz, and 20”.

Candice Ryan’s son, Nicholas Migliore, graduated from the Air Force Initial Pilot training at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma in August.

Thomas R. O’Connell celebrated 22 years since he started his own home improvement company, All Star Home Improvements Corp. He recently finished Home Inspection school and passed the NYS exam.

Donna Kunzig’s daughter, Courtney Kunzig, recently got engaged to Sam Dibble on their trip to Iceland in September.

Nancy DeMartinis’ daughter, Kristyn DeMartinis married James White on August 13th at The Three Village Inn.

Karyn and Dane Wilson welcomed their daughter, Josie Flora, into the world on August 22nd.

Nina Harris welcomed a new granddaughter, Emma Raine, on August 27th.

Catherine Marchesano welcomed her first grandchild, Henry on September 1st at 6lbs and 10oz.

Laura Granelli & husband celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary.

Janet Palmer’s son graduated from boot camp and training in the United States Marine Corps in August.

Ellen Caprino’s son, John Caprino, married Camila on July 7th. She also welcomed her first grandson, Matteo Leonardo, on August 25th from son Michael and his wife Gabby.

Francine Paci’s daughter, Danielle (who has been in the fashion field for over 15 years), has recently launched an online clothing/accessories boutique in honor of her sister, Melissa, who passed away (when Danielle was very young) from a rare form of cancer at 9 years old. Janet Ciafardoni’s son, Brian Ciafardoni, married Melissa on August 20th with a beautiful ceremony in Northport Village Park.

Lori Zulferino’s son, Anthony and his wife Christina, got married on July 2nd

Deborah Berkman had a magical summer with her daughter, Allix marrying Brendan Strawbridge on July 16th in West Hampton Beach. Then on September 10th, her son Ben married Sarah in Roslyn.

Thanks for all who we met at Montauk. It was great for our new LO’s who have joined the Contour/Signature family, as well as catching up with our friends who we have known for many years. Despite a little rain, it was a wonderful few days of much needed relaxation. We are very proud to work along side so many great people. Thanks for another great year, looking forward to many more years of great times with our Signature family!

We’d like to thank all who joined us for our Ribbon Cutting with the Babylon Chamber of Commerce and Town Officials to celebrate the grand opening of Abe Ohanian’s Babylon Branch! Introducing CHAMP, Contour Mortgage has teamed up with America’s VetDogs Association to Adopt a Puppy for 14 Months. We will be raising him to prepare him for his formal training to become a service dog. America’s VetDogs is an amazing foundation that helps members of service who are in need of a furry companion for a wide variety of reasons. We are excited to bring him along to many events throughout the next year and watch him grow! Stay tuned for more Champ on our social media!
