San at the Palm Jumeirah has become one of the best beachfront dining options in Dubai

San is a luxurious beach club that comprises an indoor restaurant and two outdoor beachfront dining and lounging areas. Located near the top end of Palm West Beach, on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, it is the first beach club concept by Food Fund International, the company responsible for some of Dubai’s most sought-after dining venues, including Taverna, The Meat Co, Clay.

The indoor space is a large open-plan restaurant with an open kitchen. The venue is renowned for its attention to detail, from the artfully designed plates, bowls and cups to the Bugatti-branded knives and forks.

The venue serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with dishes inspired primarily by the Mediterranean region. Signature dishes from the kitchen include truffle pizza, as well as prawn tempura maki with freshly grated wasabi, or fried prawns in panko batter. In its breakfast menu, San serves a selection of exotic teas such as the nutty and velvety ceremonial grade matcha from Fukuoka, Japan, or the snow white tea combined with sweet bamboo leaves and cranberries.

The top part of the exterior space has a temperature-controlled infinity pool, seating for alfresco dining, a submerged pool bar with marble counters, a DJ booth and opulent cabanas. The lower level, which extends onto the beach, has sun loungers with premium bedding and luxury beach villas that can accommodate up to six guests.
