GIVING PORTFOLIO
SILVERDALE BAPTIST ACADEMY
Silverdale Baptist Academy’s loyal and generous donors- parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, board members, faculty and staff, and friends of the school - enable us to carry out the Silverdale mission and fulfill the promise of our Academy. Our educational program is extraordinary. To sustain and build on that excellence requires significant, ongoing support. Our Academy community’s philanthropic investments make a big difference in the quality of a Silverdale education. Gifts are tax-deductible, carefully stewarded, and sincerely appreciated, from each generation to the next. In this portfolio, you will find several areas to consider when giving to the Academy.
THE SBA FUND The SBA Fund will quickly become the most critical component of Silverdale’s fundraising efforts. By giving to the SBA Fund, you help provide the Academy with the resources to advance the school mission and create opportunities for all students to engage in a meaningful, rigorous, and well-rounded education.

DIVERSITY INITIATIVE At Silverdale, we strive to create an inclusive environment where students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to learn from, with, and about one another. Our students are part of a community where beliefs, be they cultural, ethnic, or religious, are both supported and challenged. We are committed to the belief that all students’ critical thinking skills are enhanced in an environment that is racially, ethnically, culturally, religiously, and socio-economically diverse. Within the context of a traditional American school setting, we are committed to providing an academic curriculum that reflects a global yet biblical perspective. Diversity permeates every aspect of a student’s experience at Silverdale. In the classroom, in co-curricular activities, and through our student life program. Students are given the opportunity to explore and appreciate the perspectives and identities of others as well as their own. Providing funds for our Diversity Initiative provides training for all our faculty and staff, along with the opportunities for our students to attend conferences to empower them to become world changers.
