Statement:
This project relies heavily on the concept of insertion through kit of parts and colour theory. The brief involved staying true to the already existing strong brand image and explore it spatially. The brief was clear yet non-restrictive and included:
1. The representation of the graphical brand image (waves depicting hair) and 9 colours of the haircolour range.
2. an open floor plan with visual connectivity from the entrance to the employee workspace.
Design Strategy:
Focusing mainly on the time-limit of 2 months including execution, the concept was designed to insert pre-fabricated elements in the space and assemble on site. The continuous insertion provides inclusion of function, division of spaces and play of colours. To understand the materiality and process, wooden shelving modules were introduced between each pre-fabricated parts to reduce human tolerance. The brand language is followed throughout the space from the layout, conduits to details like cabinet and door handles.

Hospitality Project Grand Cayman, America 4-5
Softwares: Microsoft Access/ AutoCAD 2D/ Sketchup/ Enscape/ Photoshop
Statement:
The project brief was to refurbish 350 rooms at The Marriott Beach Resort, Grand Cayman, America. The building comprises of 5 floors including rooms with different views. The design was caried out according to the views and categorised accordingly. The material palette was simple and elegant including light toned wood. The furniture were designed to be pre-fabricated and fit in the rooms on site. Created FF&E Inventory in Microsoft Access Database and drawings for a large-scale hotel refurbishment project.
My Role:
Developed FF&E Inventory and General Arrangement drawings for all level and individual rooms. Ensured that the drawings accurately defined the room typology, specified furniture locations with precise dimensions, and seamlessly connected information to other drawings. Compiled the FF&E Inventory, detailing each product, identifying their suppliers, and specifying their delivery locations on site for efficient communication.

Statement:
This residential project encompassed both an architectural extension and the interior refurbishment of a 3 into a 4-bed house, parking and landscaping.
The spatial planning focused on visual and axial connections through the public areas. The focus was also on finding ways to increase day light in all the public and private spaces.
My Role:
Responsible for the project from the initial site survey, producing a comprehensive set of measured drawings. Involved in reconfiguring the spatial layout and establishing a clear axial plan to optimise the linear site. Additionally, introduced roof lights, an open-plan kitchen, and a pergola terrace, framing panoramic views of the river.
Produced the planning drawing set using SketchUp 3D and Layout, and the building control drawing set using AutoCAD 2D. Also developed the joinery and construction drawing sets, supported by multiple site visits to ensure accuracy and quality control.

Statement:
This project focuses on the Sensorial qualities in a space. A gradual building of elements, objects and functional sculptures of various scales; parts, eventually coming together to create the “whole”. The poetics of the space enables the user to identify the volume, which will eventually be “home”. The shape of the knobs, the mechanism of the curved door, the gentle and imperfect curves of the staircase, the textures on the textiles, elements that the user can eventually identify as his ownership of the overall space. This visual and tactile stimuli creates a bond between the objects, the volume and the user.
My Role:
Worked on this project from conceptual stage to construction phase. Developed scope of works, bill of quantities, FF&E Inventory, General Arrangement drawings, MEP services drawings for both the levels and individual rooms. Created detailed 3D model of all bespoke furnitures, ceiling design, and staircase design, ensuring that the drawings accurately showcased design and construction details. Delivered set of working drawings for individual rooms using the 3D model in Sketchup Layout.

Alleys of time is a Multi Art Exhibition Centre designed to preserve and promote various fields of Indian Art internationally. The space provides a platform for visitors, scholars, art enthusiasts with artisans through a rich programme of exhibitions, music and theatre production scholars, art enthusiasts with artisans through a rich programme of exhibitions, music and theatre production.
Design Strategy:
The project explores spatial theme of ‘alleys’ which divide the space while creating a continuous route to reach the volumes and the kit of part become the enclosure of the volumes. The structure creates multiple eye levels in the space which is experienced with perforated vertical partitions. Secondary exercises were introduced before the site to help define the kit of parts solving interior design problems height, display systems, flooring, volumes, circulation, signages, lighting and transparency. The insertion with kit of parts is standardised with a material palette contrasting with the site, exaggerating the old and new.

The geometry and form of the kit of parts is derived from exploring mass through multiple model making exercises. It is designed along an orthogonal geometry in XYZ direction.
To achieve the spatial theme of the project, the mass is propagated in a linear manner according to the site context. The propagation allows iteration of spaces which creates different volumetric visual and physical connections. The standardised kit of parts allow a geometry which is used to repeat the spaces and create various explorations to fulfil the functionality.

Statement:
This project began with the question: How Architecture frames Thresholds? Openings and thresholds are like frames into a moment when seen from the exterior towards the inside. The Inhabitable Sculpture is an experimental space with research on Ambiguity of Thresholds. The space provides a platform for experimental stay within Central London and explore the abstraction of a living space.
Design Strategy:
This study explores the transformative potential of thresholds when subjected to distortions in scale, size, planes, axis, and other elements, ultimately culminating in the conception of a concept: “The super threshold”. This project stresses on obtaining purity, transparency, and flexibility, and a near absence of furniture. There are no separations of floor, wall, and ceiling here. A place that one thought was a floor becomes a chair, a ceiling, a wall from various positions.

A celebration of colours, Prismatic flames with hues and bleeds of light. It invokes curiousity with it’s never ending spectrum of colours. The material is explored with the overlapping layers which changes with light, position, height of the observer, backgdrops, hence, giving a varied visual perception.
Statement:
Prismatic was birthed with an idea of collaboration with Design ni Dukaan, Ahmedabad. We created a brief that was purely to explore a material and their properties and create a piece, furniture or sculptural, to exhibit in India’s national exhibitions. I aimed to explore Dichroic film as a medium and its properties to understand in what ways can this material be explored.
Design Strategy:
The product is designed to explore the play of light and colours and the effect of all four dimensions on it and this mirror is an outcome of the properties of dichroic medium.
It is exhibited today in multiple Indian international exhibitions like RAW Collaborative 5, India Design 2022, and is on display at the biggest retail storeColosseum, Hyderabad.
