Domesication of the Desert Renovated Project of North Sitation Area in Taichung Drift and wind-blown sand are always the main topics of Taichung Port development. The accumulated siltation should affect the operation of Taichung port. In the past years, Taichung port authority had carried out a lot of projects to treat the drift and wind-blown sand in order to maintain port operation normally and obtained extra windbreak area. Base on coast sustainable development tactic, this project will be obedient to nature environment conditions and take ecological engineering methods to treat drift and wind-blown sand.

Relationship between the man and the sea Section - 2020
While the siltation expands non-stop, existing environmental engineering is improved by the use of architectural technology. Through the integration of wind, sand and the windbreak forest, an abandoned beach will transform into a coastal forest. What kind of relationship we want between the man and the sea? I think the answer is not to land reclamation but to go back to the beach, the symbiotic environment before.
