In addition, each unit has their private docks for yachts which includes the breathtaking scenery of the waterfront where each unit has their very own view to the water. This area is designed exclusively to cater small family with higher income.
Single Unit typologies The paradox of “high-density low-rise� - constructing suburban houses in a high-density urban context - , created the need for a new typology. Hence, new types of three-storey, ground-accessed houses which are oriented inward to the private realm is designed. These units are designed to cater middle upper class family with medium income. The unit is able to cater a medium family of four to six members.
Apartment blocks It is the largest building in sporenburg which caters 214 apartments distributed over 13 floors and an underground parking. It has a diverse typology by having middle class apartments located at the middle region and high class penthouses at both ends of the building. These units are suitable for couples and small families which range from high to low income.

“Green is Blue” To the people of Amsterdam, water is considered as an crucial green space in the dutch culture due to geographical factors. In this city, the blue area (water) compensates the lack of green area in Borneo Sporenburg, thus improving the liveability of the city. It allows various activities in the water to accommodate to Amsterdam’s boating culture at the same time engage the community with the natural geographical element which improves liveability.

Green Spaces Green spaces provides recreational spaces where people are able to connect with the neighbourhood at the same time reduce the carbon footprint of the city. Green spaces within the city are integrated into courtyard within building, housing units and pedestrian walkway, due to the lack of spaces for development.
