INTRO Dear SIP customer,

it‘s the end of May 2020 and I‘m writing this under the influence of a viral hurricane called Covid-19 that is turning the world upside down. Our customers continue to remain loyal to us and are placing orders, for which we are very grateful. We are in constant contact with our many suppliers in particularly hard-hit Italy and are suffering with them. Hopefully the nightmare will soon be over and we can ride around on our beloved Vespas again without any worries – the ANTICIPATION of this is a real energy boost. We always post up-to-date reports on our Facebook

brought one or the other exciting moment, because such great events as the Open Day, Joyride, Tacho Karacho 2 or our scooter pilgrimage took place. And of course there was our annual Vespa road trip again: if you‘ve always wondered what the greatest tour over several days with friends through the French Champagne looks like, you‘ll find the answers on page 36. If not, likewise. We also proudly present our two newest custom Vespas here in the magazine and are looking forward to your feedback! Have fun with edition no. 10 of our customer magazine CURVE.

Breaking his own mental frontiers, and completely changing his lifestyle. John Silva, began his journey at the end of 2011, departing from Quito (Ecuador) in a VespaPX200 scooter which he called “Matilda” and in which he rode through 11 countries during 20 months of traveling. There were more than 35,000 kilometers that took him to various and spectacular places where he was welcomed by friends, Vespa clubs, Scouts and even the president of a country. Trying to accomplish his dream of arriving at “The End of The World”, his trip was disrupted due to the intense cold that began in the autumn of 2012. On June 30, 2013, he returned to Ecuador, closing a full circuit of travels and taking a long recess. During this time, John meets Emilio Scotto, the greatest traveler in history who made two roundtrips around the world (for ten years) and who, until today appears on the “Guinness Record” of the greatest achievements in history. They became friends and being very inspired by him, among other great adventurers, John started to plan his much-desired

journey to Ushuaia in The Land of Fire / Argentina. On October 10, 2015, riding a new Vespa GTS300, he set out from Quito, one more time, visited Colombia (his home country) and from there he undertook his final trip to the south. Crossing through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Chile in only 18 days. John continued his adventure overpassing the Andes Mountain Range and taking the mythic “Route 40” breaking through the inhospitable and extensive Argentine Patagonia and visiting places as amazing such as the Mount Fitz Roy and the Perito Moreno Glacier among others. Finally, he arrived at the most southern city on the planet, Ushuaia, on March 22, 2016 where he fell ill due to all the physical effort and debilitating pace of the trip. Once recovered, John started his trip back, passing through several villages and cities over “Route 3” in Argentina which borders the Atlantic Ocean. He traveled to Brasilia (Brazil) to appreciate this city devised by well-known architect Oscar Niemeyer. Then, he went back to Argentina to assist the “1st Vespa Suramerica Days” on the exact date of the 70th anniversary of the famous Italian scooter...

SIP VISITING MALOSSI IN BOLOGNA We have been the official importer for MALOSSI products for Germany for more than 10 years. We have a close and friendly relationship with the Malossi family, many of our suggestions are reflected in new products later on, especially for classic Vespas. For example, engine housings for the Vespa PX125 are finally available by the Italians again, for reed valve as well as for disc valve.

VESPA SZENE SRI LANKA

Kodukarayo

In Sri Lanka, the former British colony Ceylon, a small but very lively Vespa scene has developed around the capital Colombo. People are not only interested in the cult scooter from Italy but in a complete lifestyle: people meet in Italian cafĂŠs and ice-cream parlours, vintage fashion is worn, the accessories and the way the Vespas are designed have a very special touch. By the way: the Vespas all come from Indian LML or Bajaj production but are painted and converted with great attention to detail.

V E S PA S C E N E 2 5

The passion and enthusiasm of Sri Lankans for the Vespa knows hardly any limits. The attitude is not to own polished museum vehicles but „daily rides“. Always and everywhere by Vespa, also big rides for example to the very south to Galle and the dream beaches there or into the mountains to Kandy. Metal, grease, the smell of petrol and 2-stroke, plus dirty hands and a cool beer in your hand. Happiness can be so simple, and this feeling very much connects us here to the guys in far away Sri Lanka! instagram.com/kodukarayo The complete report, all pictures and a Video can be found here: bit.ly/srilanka-en

SIP CUSTOM VESPA GTS „SERIES PORDOI“

OUR SIP SERIES PORDOI CUSTOM VESPA IS EVERYTHING BUT STANDARD. FROM FRONT TO BACK THE MODERN VESPA IS DECKED OUT WITH NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND HANDMADE PARTS. FROM THE HANDMADE CARBON-FIBRE MUDGUARD TO THE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED HORNCOVER, THE DROPPED HANDLEBARS AND THE FULL LED LIGHTING TO THE CNC MACHINED COMPONENTS SUCH AS THE SWINGARM, RIMS, A CHOICE OF COVERS, BRAKE LEVERS AND OIL PLUGS, NOTHING HAS BEEN LEFT UNTOUCHED. Instead of taking parts off the shelf we have decided to do a full custom build and to design our own components. We now want to give all Modern Vespa enthusiasts the chance to fit these components, lovingly made with a wealth of details, to their own scooters. Hence we made a production run of the custom parts and now offer the SERIES PORDOI Line with pretty much all parts

needed to build a replica of our custom GTS. The custom paintjob of our Vespa is particularly striking. No lesser painter than Fabrizio Caoduro of 70s Helmets fame took on the job, and the result is a real customshowbike-paintjob similar to what can be found among Harley-Customizers. It of course includes the race number 25 to appreciate SIP Scootershop‘s 25th anniversary.

SIP SCOOTERSHOP CORONA UPDATE A PERSONAL M AT T E R S TAT U S : M I D - M AY 2 0 2 0

On 4 January, a small report appeared in the Süddeutsche Zeitung „44 people suffering from mysterious pneumonia“. At that time it was not known whether the disease was caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi or toxins. This little breeze in central China then developed into a worldwide monster hurricane, the consequences of which nobody can escape. We are all watching the corona virus‘ developments on a daily basis. These are strange times. We are following the authorities‘ recommendations and taking preventive measures to protect our fellow humans. The health of our customers and employees is our top priority and is at the forefront of everything we think and do. We would like to offer you a glimpse behind the scenes, how we are dealing with the crisis at SIP Scootershop, and how our customers and suppliers all over the world are doing. First of all, we reorganised a lot of the processes in our company. Our SIPERIA had to be closed, for us in the team and for guests from outside. Tenant Salvatore, who also runs another Italian restaurant in Landsberg,

provides us with the necessary calories in the form of pizza and pasta by delivery service. We have divided our warehouse team into groups that work strictly separated from each other. In the event of infection, the entire team should not be affected. Social distancing between all of them is the order of the day anyway, and it has been well practised in the meantime. Things are actually very familiar and friendly in our company, people talk and hug each other – not doing this still feels very strange. We have built protective „cages“ out of cardboard boxes at all our office workstations to protect employees in the best possible way. A number of employees are now working from home and it is going surprisingly well. If you call us at the moment the chances are that you will not come through in Landsberg but in a private living room… There are special safety precautions in contact with delivery services and suppliers, sanitiser is available, and everybody has known how to wash their hands properly for some time anyway.

More information and lots of pictures of how we are doing during the corona epidemic can be found here: bit.ly/sars2-en

„Every year in the run-up to the summer season we meet to open the new Vespa-Saion with a Corso over the Leopoldstraße. It‘s exhilarating to be on the road with a large Vespa community, from Münchener Freiheit square towards the Siegestor and on between the Roman fountains, where Munich becomes Italian ... Crackling passion, the true ascension. In 2014 we were 13 Vespers, in 2016 we were 280, in 2017 even more than 400. 2018 surely 450 and this year 2019 just as many. A devotion is about the passion of two-wheeled cyclists, about gratitude and request for freedom from accidents and about fairness on the road.

nean musical framework. The route of the Corso, which was escorted by the police, led over the Leopoldstraße past the Siegestor and almost to Odeonsplatz. There the corso of more than 400 participants turned and drove towards themselves for the first time this year - a great picture! In front of the Siegestor we continued until the final stop at Friedenstraße. There, in the inner courtyard of the Protestant student community, there were crickets and picnics where you could see and admire the nostalgic Vesps. An extremely charming and, despite the meanwhile high number of participants, family event under the most beautiful white-blue sky!

At the beginning, the organizer and Protestant pastor spoke entertaining and subtle words of devotion, the Italian jazz saxophonist Enrico Sartori, accompanied by the chord orchestra Binario XI, provided the Mediterra-

Yes, of course, we have worked a lot in recent years, developed parts, talked to thousands of scooterists on the phone and packed packages until night. We have produced videos, catalogues and flyers, supported events and organized them ourselves. But whether everything ultimately leads to peace and success and doesn‘t deprive you of the fun of your hobby is another matter. Success is not everything. To be able to go to work in the morning happily, to have contact to scooter riders from all over the world and to help the design icon Vespa not to disappear from our streets is a privilege.

With this scooter pilgrimage we wanted to express our thanks that not everything is taken for granted, not everything grows on our own crap, some things just happen. In our daily work here at SIP Scootershop, but also in our private life. On 14. september 2019 about 200 scooter riders gathered at SIP Scootershop in Landsberg for the 1st scooter pilgrimage. Some wanted a nice end of season ride, others a fun day. But most of them liked this thought, to say thank you to God for the good and to ask him for help for the heavy things everyone carries around with them. Early in the morning we celebrated a mass together with Father Karl Klein from Altenstadt in our team kitchen. The young priest himself is a passionate scooterist. Some of the members of the team participated musically and contentwise. Afterwards the scooter blessing took place. Our 150 medals with magnet for the Vespa with the picture of the Mother of God of the High PeiĂ&#x;enberg were sold out in no time. After the holy water we went to the Corso. This time not direction Ammersee but over the beautiful Foxvalley along the old roman Via Claudia over the river Lech towards Birkland. A great route through the moraine landscape, formed by the glaciers of the last ice age. Curves, narrow roads, small villages. 20 km south of Landsberg a landscape like in the deepest mountains.

Above on the Peissenberg then a view over the Ammersee to the north and in the south the Alpine ridge lay at feet. Life can be simple: sun, great people and a burger. Finally we celebrated a thanksgiving service in the church. It is not only a Joyride, but a pilgrimage. Father Friedeman Steck of the Protestant student community Munich was now also present. Father Steck always organizes the big Munich Vespa Corso on Ascension Day. The next one will take place as Benefiz Corso on 28 September 2019. www.vespacorsomuenchen.org In the bible passage there were more than 10 healed by Jesus, only one of whom thanked him. Similar to us. We also get a lot, but we often forget to say thank God for that. To make up for this symbolically, everyone brought their helmets to the altar. As thanks for the good, as please for the heavy. A moving picture. A beautiful conclusion of a successful day, which shyly started as an experiment and ended with a grin. Thanks to all of you who were there! Alex, SIP Scootershop Report, all pictures and a SIP TV video can be found here: bit.ly/pilgrim19-en

e started out on a Thursday morning. Our highly motivated group, consisting of SIP Scootershop employees, our friend “Alu” from Taiwan (ZELIONI) and our long-standing customer Park from Seoul (Vespa Garage) made their way towards Lake Constance. The first milestone was Überlingen. Tim Große-Braukmann from Vollgas Motoroller welcomed us with a first-class antipasti buffet and refreshing cold drinks on a charming hill that overlooks the peacefully still lake down below. Grazie, Tim, we had a great time! From there, local Thomas from Vespassione guided us in the direction of Freiburg. We meandered through small villages and breathed in the delicate scent of country air mixed with a touch of that classic smell you only get from a Vespa. Together with Nico von Schall and Rauch we strolled through the centre of Freiburg and met there with our friends from the Scooter Club de Sud Est. Grand Plaisir. The night was short, but it was time for us to move on.

an uncannily strong symbolic significance and effect on all participants. How well we live today.

THEN WE RODE LIKE DON QUIXOTE AND SANCHO PANZA TILTING AT WINDMILLS. Never-ending straights and strong headwinds made riding difficult, tortured our necks with our engines struggling to keep up. We managed to survive this test without any breakdowns and rolled smoothly over the former race track circuit ReimsGueux. As a reward, we got a very informative champagne tour and tasting in the small winery Roger Coulon.

The southern Vosges were waiting, and our group, which had meanwhile grown to seventeen, took the winding Route des Crêtes easily to Nancy. It was not all that easy, though. Towards the end it was cold, wet and everyone was happy when we finally reached the warm parking garage in the centre of the city. We dined royally and slept like princes on the pea at the Grand Hotel De La Reine directly on Place Stanislas.

Morning came with a loss of teeth. One of our gearboxes gave up the ghost on a sightseeing tour directly in front of Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral. The weakened but still running vehicle was unceremoniously tied with a rope to a sycamore tree (lifting platform replacement) and professionally operated on. 2 nd and 3rd gear and the auxiliary shaft were broken beyond repair. Sunday A Facebook message produced the appropriate parts from the local Vespa Club de Champagne and, a short time later, Alex‘s 180SS was back on the road. Bon anniversaire! As a reward, there was again a tour, this time in one of the largest champagne wineries ever. Sometimes it just has to be MUMM... We ate in the centre of Reims.

From Nancy, our route took us to Verdun the next day. Already on the way there, we saw countless memorial sites and military cemeteries. The sinking feeling in our stomachs continued to grow. The horror of what occurred here in the 10 months of the First World War between Germany and France is almost impossible to understand and put into words. The average life expectancy of a soldier deployed in the Battle of Verdun at the beginning of May 1916 was only 14 days. Our visit had

Unfortunately, we had to say farewell to our French friends early in the morning. But not without giving great thanks to Jacques for the sensational organisation and the usual kisses. After all, nothing gets done in France without kisses. If a greeting or goodbye is not marked by them, then something is up, someone is offended or generally ill. Since none of these circumstances were the case, there were kisses for all before hitting the highway in the direction of Metz.

V E S PA J OY R I DE T I M E ! On June 6th, 2019 the Vespa & Lambretta Joyride from the SIP Scootershop Headquarters in Landsberg to and around the Ammersee took place again. A large number of Vespisti met at SIP Scootershop in Landsberg, had a coffee in the Siperia, talked fuel talks and admired the many sparkling Vespas and Lambrettas. The oldest participating Vespa came from 1948, the oldest participant was 88 years old, a scooter rider came from Australia

and according to his own words the visit of Landsberg and the participation in the Vespa Tour was a bigger highlight for him than Neuschwanstein and the Bundestag in Berlin. Scooter riders travelled from the Moselle, behind Stuttgart, Vorarlberg and Salzburg to take part in this family event in Landsberg. After a stopover in charming St. Alban in the Seerestaurant the Joyride came to an end at the Seepost in Schondorf at beautiful beer garden weather.

WHY THE MOVIE „THE GREATEST GIFT“ TOUCHED US „ P L E A S E , T H A N K YO U “ were the only words a waiter could say proudly in German when we last visited Malossi in Bologna, Italy. „Please, thank you, sorry“ are, according to Pope Francis, the most important words for a good life together in the family. We find that also applies to us within the SIP family, among all SIP employees, in dealing with you as a customer or supplier.

Since saying „sorry“ is very difficult, we liked the idea of a Spanish director to make this in a movie on the subject. We have participated in this film in its crowdfunding and wish the team and director Juan Manuel Cotelo success in distribution. The previous films by Juan were already very good. „The greatest gift“ will certainly be great too. THE GREATEST GIFT will be screened in cinemas from autumn 2019 in Germany and Switzerland. Or bring it to cinemas in your own town!

4 4 TACHO KARACHO

VESPA & LAMBRETTA QUARTERMILE Rarely does a second part reach the same level as the first - at least when it comes to American films, the classics of world literature or attempts at reconciliation with one’s first great love. Luckily, in the world of sports, however, things are different, and the latest edition of the DBM race outside the entrance to the SIP building in the centre of Landsberg was anything but boring. There were top drivers from Italy, extremely close races, new best times, a small scandal, an exceptionally emotional press conference and, unfortunately, an accident as well. And all in great weather in front of a very wellattended stand. The day was hosted professionally and entertainingly by the DAZN host, Harald Birk, and the DBM co-organiser, Andre Scholz. As the Tacho Karacho II wasn’t just a race and SIP had undertaken to celebrate its 25th anniversary together with drivers and spectators, the call from Bavaria wasn’t just responded to by the German racing elite, but some drivers from Italy and Austria as well. All in all, over 40 drivers reported to participate in the different classes. As usual, the contingent from Italy proved to be strong and included top drivers

such as Simone Bertani from BFA and Ivan Maghini from Tiniracing. It was Claudio Maffi from Team Cinquini who claimed victory in the “Best of All” category, however. The top German drivers from recent years all found themselves grappling with problems or were eliminated due to technical difficulties. Frank Schiemer made it through to the final to do battle with the quick Italian drivers, but narrowly failed to cut the mustard there. Maffi put down a new record for the event, requiring just 6.52 seconds for the 150m sprint, including the reaction time. Some six drivers in the field achieved a maximum speed of approximately 137 km/h over the short distance from a standing start. Regrettably, there were two unfortunate incidents. Julian Junginger lost control of his scooter just after the start and crashed, and had to be treated in hospital. Luckily, he was back on the racing circuit by the end of the day though. The day also saw something of an unusual incident that has never been seen before in this racing series. A resident in the industrial area felt upset by the race while drinking coffee and ended up spraying water over the braking zone on the racing circuit. The

surprised drivers were luckily able to respond in good time, however, and avoided an accident or injuries at speeds of more than 100 km/h. Although the race had to be interrupted, it failed to put a damper on the day’s great atmosphere.

IN THE EVENING, THE DRIVERS, VISITORS AND HELPERS GOT TOGETHER IN THE TOWN CENTRE AND CELEBRATED THE RACE AND THE COMPANY ANNIVERSARY AT A SOUL NIGHT. A little tired, but with new contacts and friends, the drivers parted ways over the Alps...

VESPA WORLD DAYS 2019

ZANKA H U N G A RY There is a variety of reasons why we partake in this special event each year. One of the most important is to meet with and listen to the scooter enthusiasts attending the event and to give a face to the supplier from Germany with the three letters S, I and P. This time, we were able to show off our excellent new products, and the SIP Pordoi GTS was presented outside our four walls to the curious public audience for the first time. “Fantastico!” “Spettacolo!” and “Incredibile!”... were just some of the responses by our exacting critics. The President of the Vespa Club of Hungary summarises the weekend in the following way: „It was a great pleasure to spend the past days with you! Now at the end of the Vespa World Days we wish to say a few words on behalf of the Vespa Club Hungary. We dreamed big three years ago: we wanted to bring the Vespa World Days to Hungary - and our dream has come true. I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers, to our friends and event staff. Also, this event wouldn’t have been such amazing without you: our wonderful guests from all over the world. Almost 5000 Vespista celebrated the Vespa spirit together at Zánka. We had a great time with you during the trips, talks, and in the Vespa Village as well. Thank you for being a part of this amazing experience! It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope that some of you will return to Hungary in the future. Together with our volunteers , we wish you a safe trip back home!

Márton Ungvári – Vespa Club Hungary President VWD2019

The executives of the VWC itself describe Europe’s biggest Vespa meeting as a family get together. As everyone knows only too well, “compulsory events” can sometimes be a cause for friction. Not here, however. The Vespa World Days in Hungary are now over. It was pleasant. It was harmonious. The sun couldn’t have been warmer and the tailwind couldn’t have cooled us off better. We send our thanks to the Vespa Club Hungary and its many tireless helpers!

In our encapsulated world of Vespa (and Lambretta) scooters there is only one effective method of realising this, with a really mind-blowing custom built vintage scooter! The initial idea was to unite custom and race scooter themes in one project. A scooter that not only gets noticed due to an extraordinary styling, but can also deliver an impressive performance on a race circuit. Whether the result of our efforts will satisfy the high standards and expectations of this challenge remains to be seen. We have given it our best shot, to translate our ambitions into actual reality with a completely fresh approach to such a project. The chassis has been extended to equal the wheelbase of a Lambretta. We have shortened the steering column by 10cm and lowered the rear of the frame by 8cm. The legshields have also been lowered and moved forward. The intention was to not only provide the frame with a unique and unusual look, but to also improve the overall stiffness. This modification made an extended Vespa frame possible, without the need for an extra central frame spar between the headset and the seat. To underline this new-found rigidity, we also welded steel-tubing within the chassis, which was also ideal for the routing of both the electrical and control cables through the frame. The fuel tank, relocated to the central footboard tunnel, has been permanently welded to the frame of the scooter at this point to provide additional stability. Only one power-plant could be considered for the provision of adequate propulsion – our very own SIP-BFA 306 engine! This high-end miracle of vehicle engineering provides around 50PS straight out of the box. We left no stone unturned in our quest to create something just a little bit special and fully explore its explosive potential. It is currently pushing out 71PS, measured at the rear wheel! This power is transmitted to the riding surface with the assistance of an electrically operated sequential gear selector mechanism. The push of a button on the steering assembly is all that is required for rapid gear selection.

To set the scene surrounding this engineering wizardry a special paint job was also essential. The paintwork should not only reflect a show boat or race machine, but also represent its eye-catching old school influence and inspiration. In our collective opinion this can only be achieved with metal-flake, lots of metal-flake! The result of our efforts can be appraised on our Blog or even better, it can be enjoyed at our shop in Landsberg.

OVERVIEW OF MODIFICATIONS: Frame:

» The frame rear was cut horizontally and lowered by 8cm » The leg shield has been shortened by 10cm » The frame was extended to Lambretta wheelbase » Vespa PK Dropbar » Vespa ET4 steering column shortened by 6cm » The leg shield was scaled down and moved forward and down. This created a kind of second frame that gives more stability. In the frame run tubes in which the cables were laid. These are also welded to the frame and serve as additional reinforcement

» The tank is integrated into the frame at the bottom and also serves as additional reinforcement

» The chassis consists of modified SIP Performance shock absorbers

» SIP Performance LED Headlights, SIP Speedometer 2.0, SIP brake levers also come off the SIP shelf Carbon parts:

» Seat and fan wheel cover are made by ourselves as unique pieces. The seat can be removed with 2 quickrelease buckles. The cooling hood is in one piece and integrates fan wheel cover and cooling hood.

Gear Selector:

» The gearing is based on a sequential Motorino Diavolo gear selector. This was modified and connected to an electric servo. The selector box is operated by two buttons on the handlebar. Cooling of the clutch:

» The gear oil is sucked off at the bottom of the engine case and injected via a pump in the centre of the clutch. The pump is switched on when a gear is engaged. This helps cooling the clutch at the start. Engine:

» BFA 306 engine. Bore: 78mm / stroke: 64mm. All parts typical for this engine correspond to the series. The cylinder was revised. Timing raised, outlet machined, head adjusted

» Engine case, clutch and crankshaft are standard BFA » Exhaust is a special development » The carburettor is a 42mm DEA carburettor. The intake manifold was revised and fitted with an Italkit reed valve

VESPA COLLECTOR ROBIN DAVY - a visit

Ralf, co-founder and managing director of SIP Scootershop, visits the Vespa collector Robin Davy at his museum in Munich in early 2019. In addition to his own words, his best friend Mika Hahn tells us about the man Robin Davy:

„Robin Davy and his Vespa. It‘s a deep and unique love affair. His passion for Vespas is the stuff that Hollywood romantic movies are made of. You could humorously say that Robin is married to his Vespa. He gets up with Vespa and goes to bed with Vespa. And he is sure to dream of Vespa at night. Robin has been collecting everything to do with the Italian scooter for 40 years. The native Englishman built his Vespa paradise in his adopted home of Munich. His museum in a Munich underground car park is legendary. Vespa fans from all over the world have been there and still visit it to experience the history of the Vespa in a fascinating way with all senses. He has revived the great tradition of Vespa acrobatics with his Vespa-Oldtimer Freunde club in Munich. He has been performing with his Vespa troupe all over Europe for over 20 years. I was lucky enough to write the book „Vespa Forever“ with Robin and also the children‘s book „Enrico‘s Vespa“. His knowledge of the worldwide Vespa history is incredible and certainly unique. I don‘t know anyone who lives a greater love for the Vespa, who dedicates himself to a cause in such a loving way. For me, Robin is Vespa – and Vespa is Robin.“

EUROLAMBRETTA 2019 POLAND ZAKOPANE To travel directly from the Vespa World Days in ZankaHungary to the largest Lambretta meeting in Europe seemed to us to be a particularly clever stroke of genius. The van is loaded anyways, half the way already travelled. And indeed, our visit to the camping site in Zakopane, Poland was apparently well received. We had the MMW engine case „Killer Case“ on display, the new SIP Performance racing exhaust by Nordspeed, our SIP Digital speedometers, SIP Performance cable kits and various sheet metal parts for Lambretta. Unfortunately, the SIP

Performance ignition for Lambretta didn‘t make it in time and we could only present a pre-production sample. The meeting of the Lambretta Club Poland was very well attended. It is estimated that about 600 Lambrettas took part in the rideout. In summary: a really nice meeting in a wonderful place. Zakopane is definitely worth a trip at a different time than in winter. The next Eurolambretta will take place in Belgium.

As in the past 10 years, employees at SIP Scootershop GmbH visited the Arche community again on Wednesday, 22 January 2020 and handed over a donation of €3,000. Arche Landsberg is a community in which people with and without mental disabilities live together on equal terms based on a Christian-ecumenical philosophy. „Since we want to enable even more people with and without mental disabilities to live together in an inclusive, meaningful way in mutual relationships, we are planning to build a new house in the Staufenstraße construction area and to add 10 more residents to our current 10 residents in inpatient and outpatient housing. SIP Scootershop‘s donation comes in handy here, because we can‘t do this on our own. What is special about SIP Scootershop‘s donation is that different employees always come to us who not only hand over the cheque, but also ask questions with a real interest, let us show them around the house, and chat with our roommates over coffee and biscuits. We are also invited to the SIP Scootershop headquarters and the odd small donation reaches us in between. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the friendship and financial support for inclusion and the common good that has lasted for a decade now and we look forward to seeing you again!“ October 2019: SIP Scootershop donates €3,000 to Mary’s Meals SIP Scootershop donates € 3,000 to Mary’s Meals. The vision of the aid organisation which was founded in 1992 is for every child to benefit from a school meal each day. At present, Mary’s Meals feeds approximately 1.3 million children in Africa.
