YEAR OF Manifestation Christina Atkins 2025: The Year of Manifestation As we step into 2025, let’s embrace this year as a season of manifestation—a time when our dreams, visions, and hard work align with God’s promises for our lives. Manifestation is not merely about wishful thinking; it’s about activating our faith, setting intentions, and taking action. James 2:26 reminds us, “Faith without works is dead.” This scripture calls us to pair our belief with bold steps, trusting that God will bless the work of our hands and the desires of our hearts when they align with His will. This is the year to declare what we want to see, stand on God’s Word, and prepare for His blessings. Habakkuk 2:2-3 encourages us to “write the vision and make it plain.” Take time to reflect on your goals, write them down, and pray over them. Then, take steps of faith, knowing that

God’s timing is perfect. Delays don’t mean denial; they’re often moments of preparation. Trust the process, knowing that when we partner with God, He can do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). 2025 is your year to step into purpose, reclaim your power, and see the fruits of your labor. Whether it’s a new business, personal growth, or fulfilling a dream you’ve held close to your heart, remember that nothing is impossible with God. Keep your focus on Him, stay persistent, and watch how He turns your vision into reality. Let’s move forward in faith, ready to manifest the extraordinary! Yours Truly, Christina Atkins

CATCH Fire Jessica McNeil Happy New Year! We’ve successfully welcomed 2025, but now what? Where do we go from here? Should we make our list of resolutions, knowing that the hype and excitement will soon die down? Perhaps we could create a vision board, hoping to attract all the blessings we’ve placed on our poster board. Better yet, let’s break out of the old, Catch Fire, and take control of our year. It’s time to move beyond the cycle of routines that yield minimal results and do not serve our purpose. 2025 is the year to thrive. All it takes is a spark to blaze the trail to wholeness. We have the power to live a life of abundance and to be whole—spirit, mind, and body. These three components are valuable individually, but together the synergy is fire! There are three easy steps in each of these areas to light the path to your wellness. In the words of Les Brown, “inch by inch, it’s a sinch.” Take it one day, one moment at a time, so that

discouragement doesn’t creep in over the next 30 days, make these small deposits and watch how things start to improve in your life. To be successful let’s kindle passion, discipline, and grace. Spiritual wellness is a major part of being whole. Every other aspect of our health is impacted by it. This is where the state of your soul comes into play, your will and intellect, the headquarters of decisions so to speak. You’re probably thinking, isn’t that what you have a brain for, but your mind is also governed by your soul’s state. Remember back in the day the cartoons that would have the angel on one shoulder on one shoulder and the devil on the other? That’s what our spiritual wellness does for us. When we nourish our souls with scripture, prayer, and positive words of affirmation, that builds faith and confidence. On the flip side when we are surrounded by harsh words, negativity, and cursing, we lose hope and doubt, fear, and even depres-

sion can creep in. Just like the characters in the show, you get to decide. 3 Steps Toward Spiritual Wellness: 1. Evaluate your beliefs- figure out what you believe and remind yourself often. (Ex. “I believe Jesus died to save my soul and give me an abundant life and nothing can defeat His plan for me.”) 2. Release- Share the good and bad things that you are currently experiencing. (Ex. Pray to God, journal, scream in a pillow, etc.) 3. Adjust your environmentWhen possible, be in a place that is uplifting and brings you peace. If you can’t, have a method to encourage yourself. (Ex. go outside, turn on inspiring music or a podcast, etc.) Next, let’s get into the matter of the mind, often referred to as a battlefield. For us to make it through our day-to-day in our right minds, we need to have strategies and countermeasures for mental attacks. When I refer to mental attacks, I’m talking as simple as frustration to as complex as anxiety. There is a vast spectrum of emotions and mental processing that fluctuates between genders, races, and chemical makeup, but we
WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE
can navigate this firestorm of cogitations (thoughts). Our mental health is a major part of our functionality and when coupled with our spiritual wellness it becomes an inferno, burning up the lies and self-limiting beliefs in its pathway. Fortify your mind and gear up to douse the firestorm of situational pessimism. Mental Wellness Triad: 1. Evaluate your current state of mind- ( Ex. How are you feeling? What are you thinking?) 2. Free your mind- Write in a journal, share with a trusted friend, seek WSE counsel, etc) 3. Regulate your thoughts- When you notice your mind shifting away from what is productive, peaceful, and purposeful, set your mind on something better. (Ex. inspiring quote, positive reminder, scripture, etc.) Last but certainly not, our physical wellness. Yes, it’s time to manage these beautiful bodies. Similar to your spiritual and mental health the body is intricate. The multifaceted construct of physical wellness gives each of us a different formula for success. I’m not gonna address weight loss or dieting. I will, however, leave you with ways to approach improved physical health.
W.O.E
Physically Fit Trio 1. Check your habits- How are you sleeping, the number of meals you eat, and the amount of movement you engage in daily? *Seek a professional needed 2. Let go of the negativity- DO NOT BEST YOURSELF UP! Show yourself some grace. The goal is progress, not perfection. 3. Adopt one new thing at a timeAdd 1 thing and establish a habit. Then repeat ( drink a cup of water a day, etc) It’s up to you to strike the match and catch fire for your wholeness to thrive in 2025!

MEN MENTAL Health Mitchell Risper Mental Health: Breaking the Silence and Challenging Stigmas Mental health is in general speaking the overall well-being, but when it comes to men, discussions about mental health are often not talked about. Society expectations and stereotypes about masculinity have contributed to the stigma surrounding men mental health, making it difficult for many men to seek help or even acknowledge their struggles. However, the need to address mental health in men is more important now than ever. The Impact of Social Expectations From a young age, many men are taught to be strong, resilient, and self-reliant, which gives little room for men to be vulnerability, honest or able to emotional expression themselves. Phrases like”men don’t cry” and “you need to be tough” can reinforce the idea that emotional difficulties are a sign of weakness. As
W.O.E
we grow older, these expectations persist in many cultures, particularly the Black culture which lead our men to suppress their feelings and avoid reaching out for help, even when they need it most. While this cultural pressure may encourage men to hide their emotions, it can also create mental health challenges. Bottling up feelings and neglecting self-care can lead to a host of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. Men may struggle to acknowledge or articulate their feelings, which only makes the situation worse. Did You Know? The statistics surrounding men mental health are alarming. Take a look. Suicide Rates: Men are significantly more likely to die by suicide than women. In many countries, the
WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE
suicide rate for men is approximately three to four times higher than that for women. Depression and Anxiety: Although depression is often perceived as a “woman” issue, men experience it too, just in different ways. Men with depression may exhibit symptoms such as irritability, anger, disrespect and reckless behavior rather than sadness or hopelessness. Substance Abuse: Men are more likely to engage in substance abuse as a coping mechanism for mental health issues. Alcohol and drug use can serve as temporary distractions, but they often exacerbate mental health problems in the long run. Breaking The Silence Mental health requires a shift in both personal attitudes and whatever you’ve accepted as societal norms. The first step is to break the silence and normalize conversations about mental health. The stigma surrounding men vulnerability needs to be dismantled, and men should feel empowered to express their emotions without fear of judgment or ridicule. Encouraging open dialogue in both personal and professional environments is helpful. Additionally, friends, family members,
and others one may trust can all play a supportive role by creating safe spaces for men to talk about their feelings and struggles. Recognizing the Signs Recognizing mental health issues in men can be challenging, especially because men may not always display typical symptoms of depression or anxiety. It’s important to be aware of potential red flags, such as: • Sudden changes in behavior, like increased irritability or withdrawal from social activities • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions • Physical symptoms, such as chronic fatigue or unexplained aches and pains • Unexplained anger or aggression • Increased substance use • Feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness While these signs may not always point directly to mental health disorders, they are worth paying attention to, especially if they continue over time.
20
How Men Can Take Care of Their Mental Health? Taking care of mental health requires both internal and external efforts. Men struggling with mental health issues, should seek professional help as soon as possible. Therapy can provide a safe and confidential space to discuss feelings and develop coping strategies. Cognitivebehavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapies have been shown to be effective in treating conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. In addition to professional support, there are several lifestyle changes that can help improve mental wellbeing: Exercise: Regular physical activity has been shown to have a positive impact on mood, reducing stress and improving overall mental health. Healthy Eating: A well-balanced diet rich in nutrients can have a direct effect on mood regulation and cognitive function.
feelings of isolation. Mindfulness and Relaxation: Practices like meditation, yoga, and deepbreathing exercises can help reduce stress and increase emotional resilience.
Men mental health is an issue that demands more attention, understanding, and support that it’s typically not given. It’s time to challenge the outdated norms of masculinity that discourage emotional expression and vulnerability. By creating an environment where men feel comfortable addressing their mental health, together we can help break the stigma and save lives. Mental health is not a sign of weakness, rather a critical component of overall well-being. Remember, the first step is to talk about it, and the second is to act. It’s time to give men the tools and resources we need to live healthier, more fulfilling lives, both mentally and emotionally.
Building Social Connections: Maintaining close relationships with friends and family can provide emotional support and reduce

BUSINESS TRENDS Of 2025
Tiffany Green-Hood Leveraging Literary Products and Emerging Innovations As we step into 2025, the business landscape is evolving rapidly, shaped by technological advancements, shifting consumer preferences, and the continued push for authenticity in branding. One of the standout trends this year is the resurgence of literary products like journals and planners, which have proven to be not only creative tools for personal development but also powerful assets for entrepreneurs. Here’s a look at the trends that are shaping the business world in the first quarter of 2025. 1. Literary Trends: Journals, Planners, and Business Books The demand for literary products like journals, planners, and self-help books continues to rise in 2025, driven by a need for organization, mindfulness, and personal growth. Entrepreneurs
W.O.E
are increasingly using these tools to strengthen their brand and create new revenue streams. Here’s why they matter: •
Journals: Businesses are leveraging guided journals for clients and employees, focusing on productivity, mental health, and goal-setting. Personalized journals tailored to niche audiences (e.g., women entrepreneurs, wellness enthusiasts) are particularly popular.
•
Planners: From daily productivity planners to niche-specific ones (e.g., social media content planners), these tools are helping businesses offer practical solutions while staying connected to their audience.
•
Books as Business Tools: Authors and entrepreneurs are increasingly publishing books to establish authority, build credibility, and attract speaking engagements. A book is no longer just a product; it’s

a marketing tool that positions you as an expert and opens doors for high-ticket opportunities, including consulting, workshops, and licensing deals. 2. The Rise of Digital Product Ecosystems Digital products continue to dominate the entrepreneurial space, with eBooks, templates, digital planners, and online courses seeing massive growth. In 2025, the focus is on creating ecosystems, where these products interconnect to provide comprehensive solutions for audiences. For example, an author might sell a digital planner alongside their self-help book or offer a course that expands on the concepts in their publication. 3. AI-Powered Business Tools Artificial intelligence remains a game-changer in the business world. AI tools for content creation, customer support, marketing automation, and design are more sophisticated than ever. In 2025, businesses are expected to use AI to: •
Generate personalized marketing campaigns.
•
Create scalable digital products like AI-designed templates and

Streamline content creation with tools like ChatGPT and MidJourney, enabling small teams to compete with larger brands.
4. Hybrid Events and Virtual Experiences The events industry is making a strong comeback, with businesses embracing hybrid formats that combine in-person and virtual experiences. In the first quarter of 2025, expect to see: •
Virtual book launches and signings to reach global audiences.
•
Hybrid conferences, allowing speakers to engage with attendees both in the room and online.
•
Online courses and workshops bundled with physical products like books, journals, or merchandise.
5. Personal Branding and Niche Authority Personal branding is more important than ever, especially for entrepreneurs and small business owners. In 2025, the trend is to narrow your niche and dominate it,

using tools like books and planners to establish expertise. For instance: •
A fitness coach might launch a workout planner alongside a wellness-focused journal.
•
A career coach could use a book about professional development to secure corporate workshops or consulting gigs.
Consumers are prioritizing businesses that align with their values, particularly around sustainability and ethical practices. Companies in 2025 are integrating environmentally friendly products, packaging, and operations into their business strategies. For example: •
Digital planners are marketed as eco-friendly alternatives to paper versions.
•
Businesses are highlighting their use of recycled materials in journals and planners.
7. Monetizing Micro-Communities
audiences to smaller, highly engaged groups. Platforms like Threads and niche-specific communities are helping businesses connect more authentically. This trend aligns perfectly with the rise of literary products, as they serve as tangible ways to nurture these communities. A Year of Opportunity The first quarter of 2025 presents an exciting opportunity for businesses to innovate and grow. By embracing literary trends like journals, planners, and books, entrepreneurs can create lasting connections with their audience and establish themselves as industry leaders. WE THE People Deborah Risper We The People: A Call for Unity and Respect in America As the nation witnesses the reelection of President Donald J. Trump, the spotlight once again shifts to his polarizing leadership. His victory signals continued support from a significant portion of the electorate, but for many, particularly Black Americans, it also reopens wounds of marginalization and unmet calls for justice, respect, and equity. The essence of democracy—”We the People”—rests on the premise that every voice matters and that leadership must serve all Americans, not just a favored few. Yet, under President Trump’s leadership, many Black Americans feel excluded from this promise. These sentiments stem not merely from policy disagreements but from a pervasive sense that their concerns and contributions to this country are dismissed, if not outright disrespected, by the administration and some of its supporters.
W.O.E
The Legacy of Disrespect For generations, Black Americans have been at the forefront of building this nation, from laying its economic foundation through enslaved labor to leading social justice movements that have redefined freedom and equality for all citizens. Yet, the disrespect they face today—whether through political rhetoric, discriminatory practices, or systemic inequities—feels like a painful continuation of a long history of erasure. President Trump’s tenure has been marked by divisive rhetoric that often stirs racial tensions. His comments about majority-Black cities, his initial reluctance to condemn white supremacist groups, and his administration’s policies that many argue disproportionately harm communities of color have left Black Americans questioning their place in his vision of America. Coupled with the fervent support

727 2 of his base, some of whom openly express racist ideologies, this environment creates a climate where Black Americans often feel that their voices are ignored, their pain dismissed, and their humanity undermined. A Plea for Leadership Respect and unity are not partisan ideals; they are American ideals. Black Americans are not asking for special treatment—they are demanding the respect and dignity that should inherently accompany citizenship in this country. From the fight for voting rights to calls for criminal justice reform, these are not just Black issues; they are human issues. Leadership requires the ability to listen and to lead all Americans, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation. If President Trump wants to serve as a president for all, he must actively engage with the concerns of Black Americans and seek meaningful solutions to the systemic problems they face. Dismissing or disparaging these concerns only deepens the divide.
second term, the onus is on him to heal a fractured nation. The question is, will he? This will require not only words but actions that demonstrate a genuine commitment to equity and respect for all Americans. It will also require his supporters to reflect on how their words and actions impact their fellow citizens. Black Americans have always been resilient, continuing to contribute to the fabric of this nation even in the face of adversity. But resilience is not a substitute for justice, and patience is not infinite. “We the People” means all of us. It is time for President Trump and his supporters to embody this principle and extend the respect and dignity Black Americans deserve. Only then can we truly claim to be one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. The bottom line….We The People Are TIRED!
The Path Forward As President Trump begins his
