Congratulations, St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy Class of 2020!

While COVID-19 erased the time-honored ceremonies that have taken place for 135 years prior, the faculty and staff did not (and does not) let the virus stand in the way of congratulating the Class of 2020. In May 2020 each graduate received a package containing their OBAA pin, commemorative swag, and a “You set the Standard” yard sign. Some packages were even personally delivered by Stephanie Ihler, academic dean, and other faculty/staff members! On Saturday, May 23, the first-ever St. John’s Northwestern virtual graduation ceremony was broadcasted to honor the 42 graduates. Speeches were given, awards were received, and well wishes were abundant. We are so incredibly proud of you, Class of 2020! CONGRATULATIONS! And we look forward to seeing you back on campus.

Jorge Mudeci Millan returned to campus in August and donned his uniform one last time to place his named brick alongside his classmates’. Normally this would have been part of the Commencement Weekend activities where each graduate places his/her brick on the alumni class pathway.
