T
he Sedro-Woolley Public Works Operations Division has been working hard on our city’s parks in the last year with many exciting new features ready to use and a park and playground in the planning phases. Sedro-Woolley city parks, playgrounds, sports courts and restrooms are currently open for day use but city picnic shelters and rental facilities have been closed during Covid-19. The public works operation team works hard to maintain the city’s park system, Union Cemetery and other open spaces. The department also takes care of the flower baskets, provides maintenance and custodial services for the city’s buildings, and roadside mowing within city limits. The Public Works Operations Supervisor is Nathan Salseina and the Parks and Facilities Lead is Kevin Kesti.
Parks Bark Park is located across from
Riverfront Park and is an area dedicated to leash-free exercise for dogs.

Memorial Park is located in the 700 Block of Pacific Street and houses the Senior Center and the Community Center within its 3-acre footprint. It includes a playground, restroom, and open space.
