Registration for the annual YVR Explorer Tour opens on January 1, 2015.

Vancouver Airport Authority recently celebrated Air Canada rouge new seasonal non-stop service between Vancouver and Palm Springs on December 18, 2014. The new service to Palm Springs will operate three times weekly until April 12, 2015, offering British Columbians a sunny escape during the cold Canadian winters. “We are excited that Air Canada rouge has introduced these new routes for the upcoming busy winter months,” said Craig Richmond, president and CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority. “YVR is always looking to provide more flexibility and choice in our services and

2. Steveston Salmon Festival The annual Steveston Salmon Festival is one the most anticipated festivals to attend in the YVR community. Each year, the highly anticipated festival welcomes tens of thousands of visitors to the fishing village for a taste of

important landmarks. From elementary school kids to older adults, these urban explorers can discover the unique stories behind the West Coast art and architecture at YVR. The tour begins pre-security in the International Terminal. Highlights include YVR’s internationally renowned collection of Northwest Coast First Nations’ artwork, airport operations, accessibility and environmental programs, as well as travel tips for making upcoming trips safe, easy and pleasant.
