Current projects underway at YVR There are several key projects currently taking place at YVR that will enhance the airport experience. These changes include YVR’s biggest sustainability projects to date, new parking options, terminal expansions and much more. Some of the projects occurring on Sea Island this month include: • The continuation of the curbside enhancement project, which includes work to glass windows and the sidewalk along the Departures level. There are several construction zones set up along the Departures level which impact sidewalk and curb access. More information on this project can be found at yvr.ca/construction. The work is expected to be complete by late spring. • Work is taking place in the Domestic Transfer and In Transit Pre-Clearance Facilities as well as the International Terminal security screening area to introduce CATSA Plus, a highperformance security screening system. Passenger routing may be modified for short

periods of time around work areas. Any noisy work will take place at night to limit disruptions. All new systems are expected to be operational by the end of June. • Various pre-construction work is continuing in the old Value Lot (adjacent to the Parkade) to prepare for the construction of a new sixstorey parking lot and Central

Utilities Building. This work includes fence and hoarding installation, grubbing, some minor traffic control measures around the exit toll plaza and exploration work on nearby roadways. • Work is underway to prepare for the reconfiguration of the jetSet Parking lot. This work will impact some parking spots, but the lot remains

open and continues to be a parking option for travellers. • As part of the parking reconfiguration project, the cell phone lot is currently temporarily relocated. There will be clear directional signage to the interim lot. Once the cell phone lot re-opens, it will be paved and have WiFi, offering an improved customer experience. • Construction is starting this

month to prepare for Phase II of the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport. This phase is scheduled to open in Spring 2019 and will deliver more than 7,800 metres of additional retail space. In anticipation of this opening, BC Hydro will start utilities work around Grant McConachie Way and Templeton the first

Construction Update week of May. • Construction begins this month on the North Runway End Safety Area (RESA). All YVR’s runways will have 300-metre RESAs, double the recommended Canadian standards. RESAs protect the travelling public in the unlikely event of an aircraft overrun or undershoot. This construction is expected to be completed in November and will include night-time work. Vancouver Airport Authority is doing its best to minimize impact to neighbours in Richmond, Vancouver’s south slope and Burkeville and is encouraging anyone who has more questions about construction to visit its website or to email RESAinfo@yvr.ca. • Preparation work is underway as utilities are relocated as part of the above-mentioned North Runway RESA project. Equipment and material will be visible from Ferguson Road. More information about the airport’s construction projects is available at yvr.ca/construction.

Updating YVR’s Noise Management Plan YVR’s Noise Management Plan is an integral part of advancing the goals and objectives of the Airport Authority. Every five years, a new Noise Management Plan is created that contains initiatives and key focus areas to further manage noise from aircraft operations. The current five-year Noise Management Plan (2014-2018) ends this year. As such, work is being undertaken to create the next plan for YVR, which will serve to identify key areas of work and help guide noise management efforts over the next five years. This work will culminate with the delivery of a draft plan to Transport Canada at the end of the year. YVR will work closely with members of the YVR Aeronautical Noise Management

Committee to create the new plan. Membership on this committee includes citizen and City staff representatives, Musqueam, airlines, industry associations, NAV Canada, Transport Canada and Vancouver Airport Authority. The community is invited to provide input into the process of creating the 20192023 Noise Management Plan through a community questionnaire. This questionnaire will collect input on various aspects of YVR’s Noise Management Program, activities of most concern and allow respondents to propose suggested mitigation measures for further consideration. To provide your feedback, please visit: ipsossurvey.ca/YVR/.

YVR celebrates Airbus Day On May 1, YVR welcomed the first Lufthansa A350 to Canada and marked the return of the A380 to Vancouver on the airport’s newly declared YVR Airbus Day. In celebration, a plane-spotters picnic was held in Sea Island’s Flight Path Park, which included prizes, games and lots of tasty treats. Lufthansa’s next-generation Airbus A350-900 will serve the airline’s seasonal, daily route between Munich and Vancouver. The A350-900 is one of the world’s most advanced, environmentally friendly long-haul aircraft. It uses 25 per cent less kerosene, produces 25 per cent fewer emissions and is significantly quieter on take-off. The aircraft has space for 293 passengers with 48 seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy and 224 in Economy Class. At just under 5.6-metres wide, the cabin is more spacious than comparable models of aircraft. Lufthansa flight LH476 departs from Munich at 3:35pm and is scheduled to arrive in Vancouver at 4:45pm local time. The return flight, LH477, will depart from Vancouver at 6:25pm and arrive in Munich at 1:20pm on the following day. On May 1st, YVR also marked the return of British Airways’ A380 to Vancouver. This massive ‘bird’ is the largest passenger aircraft currently in service in the world and will operate on the Vancouver to London

British Airways’ Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, fourengine jet. The aircraft’s upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage.

YVR Annual Public Meeting: May 10th Lufthansa’s new long-haul airliner Airbus A350-900 is the world’s most state-of-the-art. Since its passenger cabin can be assembled at the same time as the fuselage, wings and tailplane, the A350 takes one third less time to build than other Airbus models.

Future Air Travel

A future that includes self-piloted air travel Airbus is working towards a world of self-piloting urban air mobility vehicles, cargo drones and more autonomous commercial aircraft through the development of a range of cutting-edge autonomous technologies. The vision: a safer, more efficient and eco-friendly global transport network. Dirk Dickmanns, Airbus’ expert for image-based automation, admits that handing control of a vehicle over to a machine can be a strange feeling. “On the first few journeys, it’s hard to relax, but over time, this feeling changes. And I believe that in future, machines will be safer, more efficient drivers and pilots than humans are.” Before joining Airbus 10 years ago, Dickmanns helped programme autonomous cars at BMW. He learned that few people believe a computer can compete with their own abilities in this respect. Dickmanns is one of many

people across Airbus working to turn the goal of autonomous flight into reality. It’s a complex, wide-ranging field: not only does it involve designing and building aircraft that can ‘think’ and fly themselves, but also establishing new ground infrastructure, air traffic management systems and working with authorities to regulate entirely new modes of transport, from cargo drones to flying taxis. One of the reasons behind Airbus’ drive towards greater autonomy is a rapid growth in air travel. Commercial aviation traffic is set to double in the next 15 years and coupled with increasing urbanization, the city skies appear to hold the key to fast, efficient travel in the future. “By harnessing powerful computer technology and increasing levels of autonomy, we can optimise flight trajectories,” said Pascal Traverse, head of autonomy at Airbus. “We expect this to

Development on Airbus’ multi-passenger CityAirbus, which uses self-piloting, Vertical Take-Off and Landing and electric propulsion technology is progressing well, with a first flight scheduled for the end of 2018.

bring multiple social and environmental benefits, such as saving fuel and reducing noise, as well as allowing for easier vehicle sharing and easing the burden on our natural resources.” Traverse says any discussion of autonomy must first outline what the term means. “We consider a system to be autonomous when it is able to

take decisions without human acknowledgement or initiation,” he esplained. “But autonomy is not an all-or-nothing proposition, rather a tailored humanmachine interaction that evolves over time. Look at the cockpit crew for commercial aviation: we went from four to three and now two.” Airbus is now concentrating

on reducing the workload of airline crew further. Autonomous technologies are expected to allow a crew to focus more on managing the mission instead of managing the machine. Eventually, this could mean reducing the size of the crew for long-haul flights from three or four to two, or even single-pilot operations.

Air Transat adds wider choice of destinations

|

www.skytalkonline.com

Flight evaluations take A330neo test aircraft to locations around the globe

Air Transat celebrated its 30th anniversary last November.

Air Transat has unveiled its flight program for winter 2018– 2019, which offers a choice of 34 sun destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America as well as Florida, along with an even more diversified selection of European cities. Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Florida remain as top picks and Air Transat will be adding extra flights to Cancún, Mexico, departing from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal and Quebec City. Vancouver residents will enjoy daily connections to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and more flights to the Pacific resort destination will be available to holi-

dayers in and around Edmonton. Air Transat is also enriching its program of domestic flights, connecting many of Canada’s largest cities and opening up a wider choice of sun and transatlantic destinations to travellers in those markets. The carrier is strongly developing its offer in Western Canada’s largest cities (Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton) to Toronto and Montreal, which significantly increases the number of South and Europe destinations available, as well as the number of flights departing Western Canada. For more information on Air Transat flights, please visit airtransat.com.

Planned service entry for the A330neo is this summer.

Airbus’ A330neo is demonstrating its capabilities as the newest member of Airbus’ twinengine A330 Family, with flight testing continuing ahead of its planned service entry in Summer 2018. Two test aircraft have logged more than 700 hours aloft in the 200-plus flights performed as of April 10, 2018. According to A330neo aircraft integration and flight testing integrated product team (IPT) leader Jean-Christophe Bonjour, flight testing of the A330neo has

covered the globe. Wintry weather validations were conducted in Kazakhstan in temperatures as low as minus 27 degrees centigrade, natural icing testing occurred in the U.S., crosswind landing evaluations in Ireland, a Bolivia-based altitude campaign at more than 2,400 metres and hot weather trials in Mexico, which had temperatures of up to 37 degrees centigrade. The new-generation A330neo, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 powerplants, has a longer wingspan, with new high-effi-

ciency sharklet wingtips, and incorporates the Airbus’ Airspace cabin that it has in common with the A350 XWB. Further improving the A330neo capabilities is the launch of an increasedrange version that provides more than 2,700 kilometres of added range compared to typical A330s in service today.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) was recently voted Best Airport in North America for a record ninth consecutive year at the Skytrax World Airport Awards. To acknowledge this achievement and to recognize all those who contribute to the airport’s success, Craig Richmond, president & CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority, published an open letter to the community: “About 90 years ago world-famous aviator and explorer Charles Lindbergh snubbed an invitation to Vancouver, stating “There is no fit field to land on.” Well, we’ve been taking great pride in proving him wrong ever since. And, today we are humbled to once again be recognized for our efforts. But words like proud and honoured don’t quite cut it— only grateful comes close. Top Aces achieves 70,000 hours of air combat training excellence

Top Aces IAI Westwind 1124 aircraft have been modified with under-winged hard points, pylons and an internal winch to support Target Tow and Electronic Warfare missions.

Last month, Top Aces, a Montreal-based defence contractor that offers combat airborne training services to the Canadian Armed Forces, reached 70,000 hours of air combat training excellence worldwide. The event occurred during a training mission for the Canadian Armed Forces near Victoria, BC. Training provided by Top Aces preserves valuable fleet life of military front line fighters and enhances military operational effectiveness. Top Aces and its U.S. sub-

sidiary, Top Aces Corp., employ the world’s largest privately held operational fleet of fighter aircraft to provide advanced adversary and Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC) services across three continents. The mission-critical training provided adds to the operational readiness of allied air forces worldwide. “We are incredibly proud of this significant milestone,” said Didier Toussaint, chief operations officer of Top Aces. “This achievement is unparalleled in our industry, it speaks to the pro-

fessionalism and commitment of every Top Aces employee to excellence, and the long-term partnerships that we have established with our valued customers. We will continue to leverage our industry-leading safety record and airworthiness standards to deliver the next generation of highly representative adversary air to all our customers.” Founded in 2000 by three former RCAF CF-18 fighter pilots, Top Aces has been delivering training to the Canadian military for the past 12 years.

Modified McDonnell Douglas A-4N aircraft is capable of flying combat training sorties from the surface to high altitude at high transonic and low supersonic speeds.

Drones to the rescue An enterprise drone with thermalimaging sensor that can sense a person’s body heat even if the body is hidden.

According to a report by DJI, a leading manufacturer of drones and aerial imaging technology, at least 65 people were rescued by drones in 2017. Titled More Lives Saved: A Year of Drone Rescues Around the World, the report provides accounts from news outlets and public safety agencies around the world and includes 27 separate incidents on five continents. It also highlights how improved drone technology, rapid adoption by first responders and smart aviation regulations have combined to increase the pace of drone use in critical public safety missions. In conjunction with an earlier report released in 2017, DJI has now counted at least 124 people around the world rescued by drones. The new report found drones

have dropped buoys to struggling swimmers in Australia and Brazil, spotted unconscious victims in sub-freezing weather in England and America, and found stranded people in fields, rivers and mountains. “Drones allow rescuers a way to find missing people, deliver supplies like food and life vests, and cut search and response times from hours to minutes,” said Brendan Schulman, DJI vice president for policy and legal affairs. “When laws and regulations allow public safety agencies to deploy drones easily, rescuers are able to save time and money, protect their personnel and, most importantly, rescue people from peril.” More than one person a week was rescued by a drone in 2017 on average, the report found,

including at least 18 found by thermal imaging cameras that can sense a person’s body heat even in darkness or when the body is hidden by thick brush. In one case, police in Lincolnshire, England responded to a car crash on a dark rural road on a chilly night but were unable to find the driver. A drone with a thermal imaging camera spotted the driver in a ditch away from the crash scene and captured the dramatic moments when it guided officers to find him. DJI is working with the Government of Canada to help shape a regulatory regime that allows for the emergence of a vibrant drone industry in Canada, contributing to innovation and adding to public safety in a wide variety of applications.

Bombardier’s Nuage seat is a first in business aviation in three decades Bombardier has unveiled the Nuage seat on its Global 7000 aircraft—its most spacious and longest-range business jet, which is on track to enter service during the second half of 2018. The Nuage, which is ergonomically designed with a deep recline to achieve optimal inflight comfort, is the first new seat architecture in business aviation in 30 years. Unlike other aircraft seats where only the back reclines, the Nuage features a patented tilt link system that dips the seat as the back is reclined, keeping the body fully supported with no added pressure on the legs. “In designing the Nuage seat, we examined every conceivable passenger need and comfort that might arise while seated in flight and launched our process from there,” said Peter Likoray, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “This empathetic design philosophy inspired us to craft a seat unlike any other—the most innovative seat the industry has seen in three decades. Offering an unprecedented balance of comfort and control, Nuage is

an ergonomic and aesthetic masterpiece that redefines the very notion of seated comfort for life above the clouds.” The seat features a fluid track and swivel movement system on a patented floating base that eliminates the need for visible floor rails. The fluid movement system includes a centre swivel axis for an intuitively centred point of rotation in any position, allowing passenger to swivel with ease and precision. For added comfort and sup-

port, the Nuage is equipped with an adjustable, tilting headrest that provides optimal neck support in every position, while helping to maintain an effortless line of sight when watching TV or reading in a reclined position. With a maximum operation range of more than 14,000 kilometres, the Global 7000 aircraft can fly farther than any other business jet, with the ability to connect city pairs such as New York and Hong Kong or Singapore and San Francisco.

Qantas orders more Dreamliners, says farewell to its jumbos

Qantas will retire its last six 747-400 aircraft, often referred to by its original nickname “Jumbo Jet,” by the end of 2020.

Qantas has ordered six more Boeing 787-9s to fly on its international network, bringing its fleet of Dreamliners to 14 by the end of 2020. The arrival of the new aircraft will allow the airline to accelerate retirement of its last six Boeing 747s—an aircraft type that has been in the airline’s fleet in various forms since 1971. “This really is the end of one era and the start of another,” said Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce. “The jumbo has been the backbone of Qantas International for more than 40 years and we’ve flown almost every type that Boeing built. It’s fitting that its retirement is going to coincide with our centenary in 2020.” Qantas expects to invest in an additional 787 simulator to assist with training more of its pilots to operate the new aircraft. Interiors of the additional 787s will feature the same configuration as the existing aircraft.

Although Qantas’ Dreamliner carries fewer passengers than the larger 747 (236 seats vs 364) and has a greater focus on Business and Premium Economy seating, it is expected that reduced maintenance needs, more efficient aircraft patterning and reduced payload restrictions on long routes will result in a negligible impact on overall capacity. To date, Qantas has taken delivery of four 787-9s with a further four to arrive by the end of 2018. The six currently on order will arrive between late 2019 and mid-to-late 2020. There are currently 10 Boeing 747-400s left in Qantas’ fleet and these will be steadily retired between July this year and the end of 2020. Qantas received the last of its 747s new from Boeing in 2003, which will be 17 years old at time of retirement. For information on Qantas flights from YVR, visit qantas. com.

Countdown to Delta’s roll out of its new uniforms

Delta has incorporated seven colours into its new uniform collection with the defining colour dubbed as “Passport Plum.”

On May 29, Delta Air Lines will roll out new uniforms to its 60,000 uniformed employees. The fashion-forward uniforms were three years in the making and Delta has launched a Designing Delta miniseries to show just what it took to create a style that stands out. Renowned American fashion designer Zac Posen and his team partnered directly with Delta employees across the organization to ensure a comfortable and functional uniform that is both modern and timeless. American clothing retailer Lands’ End was selected to bring the designs to life, meeting employee standards of first-rate

condition and comfort. Through countless rounds of design, testing and innovation, the Posen and Lands’ End design teams are credited with creating pieces that reflect the Delta spirit and embody the style of its employees. “Summing up a three-year journey isn’t easy, but this [Designing Delta] miniseries captures the direct role of Delta people throughout the process,” said Ekrem Dimbiloglu, director – uniforms, Delta. “In always looking for opportunities to bring customers closer to our business, this is a great opportunity to show them a new perspective while encountering our brand and our

employees like never before. This process is a testament to the thought and care that goes into each and every decision that will affect both our employees and our customers.” During the three-year design process more than 165 changes were made based on direct employee feedback, with employees from each frontline division involved in the Delta Cross Divisional Uniform Committee. Fitting events for more than 25,000 Delta employees were held in North America, Europe, Asia and the island of Hawaii. Delta will be publishing a series of fun, fast facts every 10

KLM serves unique wines with labels by Dutch Masters

KLM features spring wines with unique Dutch Masters’ labels in World Business Class.

KLM is now serving special wines in its World Business Class. The bottles bear labels depicting paintings by wellknown Dutch artists of the Golden Age, whose work is displayed in Amsterdam’s worldfamous Rijksmuseum. The paintings featured on the labels of these exceptional bottles of wine include The Little Street by Johannes Vermeer and Girl in a Large Hat by Caesar Boëtius van Everdingen. Each wine is associated with a painting that reflects the flavour of the wine. For example, Girl in a Large Hat represents a fresh Esterházy Grüner Veltliner wine

that possesses fresh fruit flavours. The five wines currently being served by KLM were selected by the airline’s own Wine Panel for World Business Class. The panel tested the wine’s quality, paying special attention to the change in taste that occurs at high altitude. KLM is known for connecting passengers with the richness of the Dutch culture through its products and services. The partnership between the Activin Wine Group and the Rijksmuseum contributes towards this goal. For more information on KLM flights from YVR, please visit klm.com.

Ctrip will now work with Boom to bring supersonic flights to China and help to accelerate Boom’s “ongoing partnership

efforts with airlines in China.” Additionally, Boom will help Ctrip explore offering its customers 10-15 seats on one of Boom’s first supersonic commercial flights. “Ctrip offers valuable expertise in the Chinese travel market, and we’re excited to work with their passionate, entrepreneurial team to bring supersonic travel to the region,” said Blake Scholl, founder and CEO of Boom. “San Francisco to Shanghai,

for example, could shrink from 11 hours to six—and a typical round-trip itinerary can be accomplished two whole days faster.” Boom is building a supersonic aircraft capable of carrying 55 passengers at Mach2.2, more than twice as fast as current passenger planes at the same cost as today’s business class fares. Ctrip joins Japan Airlines and Virgin Group as an investor in Boom Supersonic.

Rendering of “Alcatraz – The Breakout” Escape Room. (Courtesy of Madame Tussauds San Francisco).

Madame Tussauds San Francisco will bring the world’s most famous prison escape to life in its new “Alcatraz – The Breakout” escape room, the first in the brand’s 250-year history. Themed after the infamous 1962 escape, the experience opens on May 23 on Fisherman’s Wharf, less than a kilometre from where it all took place—Alcatraz Island. Step back to 1962 and follow in the nefarious footsteps of three Alcatraz criminals, Clarence Anglin, John Anglin and Frank Morris, who escaped from America’s most notorious prison. Be cunning. Be brave. Be smart. Like them, you’ll need strategy to survive. Unlike them, you’ll only have 60 minutes to break out. Crack the code and

solve the puzzles before the guards catch you. Your life is in jeopardy, you’re locked inside a prison cell for a crime you didn’t commit. But you’re about to get a lucky break—a sympathetic guard confides that the sinister trio is plotting their escape and suggests you do the same. Knowing there are just 60 minutes until the guards’ shift change, there’s no time to lose. Stay calm, cool and collected and find clues to solve puzzles to reveal the trio’s escape plans and secret tunnels. Can’t crack the codes? You’ll be locked away for ever! Madame Tussauds brought the best of the best to create “Alcatraz - The Breakout.” Rogue Productions, which designed Time Run, the London

escape room hailed by media as “The single greatest live game experience,” lent its stellar design skills to this experience. And since it is Madame Tussauds, be on the lookout for a familiar face: vintage Clint Eastwood styled and ready for his own prison-break. Starting May 23, “Alcatraz The Breakout” will be open daily from 10am to 7pm. The escape room is designed for groups of up to eight guests who are age 12 and over. Pricing will start at $125 per group of four people and tickets are now on sale. For more information on pricing and to purchase tickets, please visit madametussauds. com/san-francisco.

The 15th annual Richmond Maritime Festival returns to Steveston waterfront this summer. This year, the festival is moving to earlier dates and will be held on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 from 10am to 6pm. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. The festival will feature a variety of local performing artists, including this year’s featured performer, local indie soul favourites The Boom Booms who will perform at 2:15pm on Saturday, July 28. Each year, the festival invites local visual artists to submit proposals to design

the event poster and Richmond-based artist Ashley Rose Goentoro has been commissioned to design this year’s festival poster. Goentoro brings whimsical charm to her watercolour paintings that tie in with the festival’s focus on arts, culture and history. The final artwork will be used throughout this year’s festival site and marketing materials. The Richmond Maritime Festival is produced by the City of Richmond and made possible by the support of several event partners.

An expanded City Centre Community Policing Office to permanently station officers in the heart of Richmond, improving response times and increasing street level presence, is planned for Richmond’s downtown area. The City Centre area currently generates more than 1,000 police calls a month, which is 28.6 per cent of all calls. With tens of thousands of new residents moving into Richmond’s downtown over the next few decades, the City Centre area is anticipated to comprise about 37 to 41 per cent of the total calls for service by 2030. “As our community grows, there is an increasing demand for police services across Richmond, but particularly within our rapidly evolving City Centre,” said Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie. “Council has already approved funding for 40 additional police officers during the current term to meet emerging community needs. An expanded City Centre Community Police Office will allow us

to. It will also provide enhanced, easily accessible storefront crime prevention services and other community programs.” The new City Centre Community Policing Office will be in the City-owned building located at 6931 Granville Avenue (at Gilbert and Granville). It will replace the existing City Centre Community Policing Office at Lansdowne Road and No. 3 Road, which lacks the size and facilities necessary to provide the full range of police services required. The expanded space will allow a designated complement of police officers to be permanently based in the new facility, which will reduce response times and increase in-service time. The new space will allow for on-site processing of offenders and storage of critical emergency response and other supplies to ensure quicker deployment when required. The project cost will be $5.1-million to be funded from voluntary developer amenity contributions.

Classic Mini presented in an all-electric version

With a world premiere at last month’s New York International Auto Show, British car manufacturer Mini has demonstrated its appetite for purely electric driv-

ing with a new take on an icon. The urban electro mobility landscape will soon see the arrival of the classic Mini Electric, a brand-new model packed with

individual style and driving fun. The Mini Electric model combines the historic look of one of the world’s favourite small cars with ground-breaking drive technology for tomorrow’s urban mobility. The fully electric production vehicle is currently in development, based on the Mini 3-Door, and will be produced for the first time at Mini Plant Oxford next year. The Mini Electric Concept was announced at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and paves the way for the brand’s first all-

|

Auto Talk electric vehicle, which will be unveiled in 2019 – just in time for the 60th anniversary of the classic Mini. A late and carefully restored example of the classic Mini Cooper serves as the basis for the Mini Electric. The exterior red paint is complemented by a contrast white roof and characteristic bonnet strip, with the yellow MiniI Electric logo in the brand emblem and on the wheel hubs. The electric classic remains true to the brand—both in terms of its visual appearance and driving characteristics.
