STEM LEARNING RESOURCES These centers provide a variety of free STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) related support services for students. These services include drop-in tutoring, workshops, research and project opportunities, textbook and scientific model checkout, study spaces and computer workstations.

STUDENT WRITING AND READING CENTER The Student Writing and Reading Center provides tutoring for SLCC classes, as well as for non-class writing like résumés or scholarship applications. Locations are offered at Taylorsville Redwood, Jordan, South City and West Valley campuses. Tutoring is also offered online.

SLCC InnovaBio lab when she started to feel her professors’ positive pressure to get more involved in her college experience. She was inspired to join clubs and perform service through the Thayne Center for Service & Learning. Her efforts were gratifying and, in addition, earned her recognition and awards.
