Kongensbro Kro No. 30

Cozy inn next to Gudenå river

Since 1663, Kongensbro Kro has been located where the country road between Aarhus and Viborg crosses Gudenåen. In the past it was known as a barge inn, but today it is a modern road inn with contemporary rooms, all with a view of the inn garden and the river Gudenåen. We have become famous for our new luxury hiking stay ”Krominoen”, - a fantastic hike along the river Gudenåen. The hotel is only 1,000 meters from the restored Høje Stene, Denmark’s oldest king / queen cemetery. The inn’s hallmark is also the good food, from the famous homemade meatballs to the French cuisine.
