From the Publisher: Well, in spite of the recent snow, I think Spring is really here. Maybe if we ignore signs to the contrary, we can “make it so”. (Sorry for the Star Trek reference.) On that note, let’s begin to transition our diets from the heavy winter comfort foods to the light and nutritious. Let’s detox from of all the sludge we accumulated over the winter and learn to use music and sound to heal our souls. Open your mind to the possibility that HEMP may actually have some positive benefits for humanity examine the facts! Yeah Spring!

This month brings much sadness for me. One of my dearest friends, Deb Haltuch, lost her battle with cancer. Her love, laughter and lightness of spirit, which was admired by many, will be missed. I know in my heart her spirit is still with us all - watching and protecting from a place beyond our reach. She still shares our earthly experiences with us and can rejoice in our accomplishments and comfort us in our trials. I’ve “invited” her to let me know when she’s around and, not surprisingly, she has! I’ve found three “pennies from heaven” already and their message is that she’s okay. Deb, I love you and I’m going to miss you. I know one day, we’ll see each other again, but not quite yet ! Love & Light! Sue Ball

Civilization Music's Effect on Humanity and Consciousness By Jill Matson “Vibrations, or sounds, can control civilizations!” wrote ancient officials. An outrageous idea at first glance, but many ancient dynasties lasted thousands of years, while we grow tired of our president in merely four years. I planned to uncover why many rulers believed this. I hunkered down into the study of antiquity… for twenty years, carefully recording musical and esoteric secrets. Esoteric societies guarded sound healing information, believing that whoever knew it - could control people and for the wrong reasons! They refused to document this secret information about healing sounds. Esoteric students were divided according to their moral and psychic advancement into categories such as initiates, disciples, adepts and masters. Secrets of sound were confined to verbal discussions among proven adepts and masters …safe guarding this powerful information. Each esoteric school divulged a few secrets, but I studied so many, I accumulated a wealth of diverse vibratory knowledge. Merely considering these ideas exponentially increased my understanding of the power of music! May/June 2014 Issue—Page 4

Sparse writings from Rudolf Steiner discuss the musical system of the ancient Lemarians and Atlanteans. The earlier civilization, the Lemarians, listened to a descending musical scale, in which the smallest distance between adjacent tones was equivalent to nine of our notes! This music connected the listener with the Divine. Later, the Atlanteans claimed to enjoy a descending musical scale with the notes closer together, yet neighboring notes still represented seven of our musical notes. The Atlantean music connected man to his own Divine Spirit. In order to hear Lemarian or Atlantean music, one would need clairaudience, as few notes would be within our hearing range. Steiner suggests that man had not “involved” into matter to the extent that we have today, enabling people to hear clairaudiently. These people were spiritually evolved. The ancient Indian and Persian epochs boasted of a musical system built on the interval of six of our notes. Persian cosmetology, mingled with writings about Zoroaster, reflect that music escorted man towards a connection with the next lower hierarchy of spirit, the


“Planetary Logos,” providing a spiritual experience. Increased historical documents shed light on music of ancient Egypt and China. Music was believed to be a powerful controlling influence on the population. The rulers regulated and policed the music people heard. By controlling the vibrations that people were exposed to, officials believed they yielded a strong influence over them. Ancient Chinese rulers believed that each musical note was a connection to the Divine. The rulers orchestrated concerts with 10,000 players, making plentiful and powerful connections to the Divine. In a current comparison, the Latvian country of Estonia sponsors a weeklong songfest every five years. These historic concerts boasted of half a million sound healing singers…a good showing for a country of only one million people. Many credit the historic courage of this tiny nation to achieve independence - to the energy created by this vitalizing, sound healing musical experience. Ancient Chinese music used twelve notes. Each note was five of our notes apart and was referred to as the “Lu Scale.” Musical sounds floated like the sounds of wind chimes, with no beginnings or endings. Tones still descended and were said to augment the imagination. As the stars in the skies journeyed across the horizon, this changing energy was believed to influence people (astrology). The music or “musical astrology” changed throughout the year, providing support for personal and emotional challenges caused by the vibrations of planets in motion in our solar system. This musical Feng Shui varied as energy in nature changed, providing a balancing mechanism for the population! Instruments made out of the various elements were exclusively played at certain times, further engineering the balancing effect of the sound healing music.

Many languages became extinct over the ages, releasing their special sounds from human consciousness. Sanskrit, Latin and ancient Hebrew are a few, reflecting the lost sounds of former civilizations. Some believe that as civilizations change, so do their languages -- in subtle ways bringing about mental, emotional, and physical alterations in societies exposed to the different sounds. In ancient Greek times, for example, children were not exposed to vowel sounds, as the associated energies were considered too stimulating during people's early formative years. Many languages, in fact, left out vowel sounds....

As mankind journeys on his experiment with duality, becoming more and more separate from God, not only has passing era’s music vanished, but sounds have been extracted from ancient languages as well! Extinct languages are no longer being heard and affecting us. It is no wonder that some high masses are in Latin, creating a holy feeling – even though no one understands the words. Control of music shifted to the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages. Initially adopting the Greek modes, they later dropped all but two, renaming them “major” and “minor.” Music prior to this period was a series of ongoing tones. An “amen” was added on the end of Gregorian chants and church liturgy, creating the concept of a beginning and ending in a song. Earlier writing suggests the sound of the first and third note of a scale sounded together, so harmonious today,

was shrill and hard to listen to. As the Middle Ages progressed, the third became a staple of harmony, and chords using the 1-3-5 notes of the scale flourished. In a more recent example, the jazz-sound introduced a chord with the seventh note of the scale added, and was considered to be outrageous, scandalous and “the music of the devil.” Today, jazz is not considered sinful, or even racy, but is relegated to soothing elevator music. This suggests that populations get used to new sounds, and in essence harmonize with them. Esoteric writing suggests that such harmonization transitioned people’s consciousness and experiences. Turn of the century esoteric writing insists that the Renaissance music pulled the population out of the dark ages by introducing the perfection of chords, harmonies and mathematical patterns. The early ornamental classical music inspired the excessively decorated architecture and dress of the time. One mystic writer revealed a concern about cold-hearted people hiding behind elaborate decoration. Hence, Beethoven was “over lit” to create sound healing music that enabled the masses to feel compassion. According to the writing, charities in Europe were recorded only after people heard the music of Beethoven. During the Renaissance people choose music for the first time as musicians made a living from public performances. Songs changed in key to accommodate singers’ vocal ranges. As a result today’s Equal Temperament tuning system was created to allow easy transition between musical keys. Some liken this scale to “aural caffeine,” saying it influenced the Western Hemisphere to spur industrialization and modernization. In contrast, the Eastern Hemisphere played the older mathematic scales with consonant sounds and developed meditation practices. Now, popular music is becoming worldwide, lessoning cultural differences. Popular music styles are changing rapidly from swing tunes, to jazz, to rock and roll, through heavy metal, and on to rap in just sixty years. At this time the changes in our society have also been immense. Sixty years ago it was novel to see color TV. Now fax machines, cell phones and computer games have revolutionized our world. Once again, the sonic vibratory changes precede the physical ones. Melodies sport sequential notes, displaying a system of two’s… Rap music sounds a rhythmic series of the same note, a musical system of one’s. In conclusion, musical May/June 2014 Issue—Page 6

systems throughout the ages reveal a pattern of frequencies becoming closer together, as civilizations learned various lessons. When a musical style stopped the culture transitioned and was rebirthed with new music. Throughout the ages man incarnated into matter and duality, as the music descended, changed styles and the space between neighboring notes decreased from nine of our notes to only one. Often people have said that, “time is speeding up!” Often I have wondered exactly what that means. After all, an hour still takes sixty seconds. However, looking at the span of time that I have described, one sees that the Atlantean civilization’s frequency bandwidth lasted fifty thousand years according to sparse records. The Persian Empire and the ancient Egyptian experienced the next frequency bandwidth for ten thousand years and the Ancient Chinese Epoch lasted thousands of years as well. The ancient Greek and Roman Empires were less time and the Middle Ages less still, about fifteen hundred years. The Renaissance lasted several hundred of years and hundreds of years later the emergence of rap music, representing the “music of one interval!” The passage of new transformations in civilization has sped up! If listening to frequencies closer together precedes further separation from God - then reversing this process facilitates evolution and our journey back to the Divine…and it should be a rapid journey! Listening to ancient musical patterns may expand our consciousness and spirituality…perhaps leading to increased awareness, including that of the Divine!

Kundalini Awakening! T

he world is awakening spiritually and most people do not recognize the signs and symptoms of this powerful spiritual evolution called the Kundalini. This spiritual awakening is our birth right. The Kundalini is our life force, located around the last three vertebrae of our spine. Some experience this awakening by a sensation of a serpent spiraling up the spine; a visual would be the Caduceus, which is the medical symbol of the two serpents on the staff. The movement can be incredibly slow, taking years to move to the top of the head or it may move quickly, which may cause an extraordinary amount of symptoms. When the Kundalini reaches its destination of the sixth and seventh chakra, one will see brilliant lights, sounds and an overwhelming feeling of delightful bliss. An awakened Kundalini is the road to God Consciousness, a complete awareness of self-realization or the “I am” consciousness. This awakening is a goal in many ancient cultures and is accomplished by following a long list of protocols so the awakening process is smooth and full of light. When our life force is ready to be awakened within us, we feel a type of “nesting”, we ask more questions, we make healthier choices, and we feel the need to take up meditation or yoga. The positive or normal symptoms that we are meant to experience are feelings of pure bliss, possibly coupled with random body or extremity shaking, a warm head (the top of the head feels much warmer than usual), feelings of "ants" crawling on random areas of the body, a heated spine sensation, inner sounds of music or angelic instruments, a higher extra sense of knowledge, visions of vibrant colors, or total body vibration. There is a long list of symptoms but these cover the majority. In our society, we find many people who are awakening when they are not yet ready. These symptoms may become severe or may feel negative as the Kundalini energy magnifies the sensations and emotions within us. When someone’s Kundalini decides to awaken when they are at their worst, symptoms can be the complete opposite of what they were meant to be. These negative symptoms can be heightened fear, paranoia, deep anger, short attention span, ADHD, acute physical conditions, sexual dysfunctions, depression, anxiety, kidney problems and the most severe symptoms may be related to psychosis or schizophrenia. How can you nurture your awakening and calm some of the negative symptoms you may have or want to pre-


vent? If you're reading this article, then know you are on the path to a Kundalini awakening or already on it! These very simple practices are easy to remember and somewhat easy to do. If you can remember just a handful of protocols, your awakening can be a lot less traumatic than it probably is now. You're more than welcome to do just the basics. I'll list some "extra's" you can practice, you will surely feel the difference in your quality of life.

Basic protocols: Walking. For those that have the ability to walk, then walk! If you are able to walk in the metro parks, then this is an added benefit as nature helps with our vibration and the air is cleaner. Nature helps to ground us as well. Breathing Meditation. If you are completely new to meditation and find it intimidating, well don't. Meditation is vital for controlling and calming your mind. The simplest method is closing your eyes, sitting in silence for at least 10 minutes and focusing on... nothing! Move your eyes up to the third eye area, which would be between your eyebrows. Focus on the blackness and any swirling colors you may see, and also focus on your breathing, deep in and out. Once a thought or mental image surfaces, and it will, remove it and start again. You may only have a few seconds of this void, but in time you can move to minutes of silence and calm. Eating More Vegetables and Fruits. Organic is always best, or buying local. Increase your consumption greatly. In particular you need to eat more ROOT vegetable such as carrots, sweet potatoes, garlic, and ginger. The kidneys tend to get overworked during the Kundalini awakening and these foods, along with watermelon, will help in the reduction of kidney inflammation. Not much is needed and if you're diabetic, only have a small piece. Water. Water is vital for everyone! It aids your body in almost every function and keeps us alive. Kundalini will try and detox our body, so we need water for this process and also to assist our kidneys. The type of water you drink is key. Do not drink tap water. You will be ingesting a large amount of toxins in the tap water while your Kundalini is trying to cleanse your body. If you can get spring water, great. Your water should be fluoride and chlorine free. I have a reverse osmosis filter under my

sink. It's one of the cleanest water around. Cook with it as well. Your food will absorb these toxins, so be careful. Yoga. Some of you will say, oh boy, yoga is so hard or you don't have time to do it or the money to be properly trained. I recommend you get the basic training if you can so you have this knowledge for the rest of your life. There are a few moves that will bring energy and blood flow to all areas of your body and yoga helps motivation the chakras to spin away and allowing a smooth ascension of the Kundalini. If you just can’t do this, then stretch all of your muscles and go outside and walk BAREFOOT on the grass. I recommend everyone walk barefoot on the grass. This practice is grounding and calms your vibration. Mother Earth is our healer and teacher. Everything we will ever need is provided from her. Programming. Please refrain from watching violent or depressing movies, shows or the news. TV in general will change your vibration. I find that when I "HU" after watching a show or movie, my vibration is increased and I feel a deep sense of calm and peace. HU'ing comes from the Eckankar practice. It is a tone you sing by saying "HU". You can research this yourself. Programming also means those people you keep as friends or persons you keep close by. I highly recommend you surround yourself with positive, happy, peaceful people. Their energy is contagious!

Advanced methods for the Kundalini Protocol:    

Expression of gratitude Practicing forgiveness Tongue up (placing the tip of the tongue just behind the front teeth assists with the energy flow). Surrendering (this practice tells us to not fight the changes that are within us, allow the process to happen and do NOT fear it. The Kundalini is a part of us.) Refrain from lying; being honest heals our soul. You don't need guilt building up as this can cause side effects as well. Love others, love yourself. that hit every chakra. There are only five moves; the first is spinning to the right 21 times with arms spread out. The second is lying on your back and lifting your legs straight up. These are examples of the first two. If you Google "Five Tibetan Rites", you can get details on the “what to do” and “what they look like”. These need to be done every day. I congratulate you for wanting to awaken your Kundalini and become closer to the God Consciousness. By practicing these simple protocols, you can move more easily through this spiritual evolution.

HEMP - What you don’t know could surprise you!

At Last – Some Good News. For you and for the planet! Question. What has 25,000 known uses, can create building materials superior to wood in strength, quality and cost, is heat, mildew, pest resistant and more durable than cotton, uses less chemicals in the production process and dates back 10,000 years in history? If you guessed hemp, you would be right. Wait, I know what you are thinking, “Hemp? Isn’t that just another name for marijuana, aka grass, weed, Mary Jane, wacky tobacky, giggle weed, hash or Sweet Thang?” Well, yes and no. You see, hemp is actually the common name for plants of the entire genius of Cannabis, which includes marijuana, although the term is often used to refer to only those strains cultivated for industrial purposes. Industrial hemp has many uses including paper, textiles, biodegradable plastics, construction, fuel and health food, just to name a few. Popularity is rising for this wonderful and drought resistant cash crop as mankind begins to feel the disadvantages of mining and burning coal and oil for fuel, as well as production of everything from plastics to pharmaceuticals. precious land and ecosystems, while accessing oil and gas which are processed into plastics and throw-aways that never go away, causing even more destruction. The air is polluted with heavy metals and carbon dioxide from burning coal plants changing our atmosphere in fundamental ways. There has to be a better way – a greener way. Until 1883, 75 -90% of all paper made in the US was made of hemp. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew hemp on their plantations as did most farmers of the day. The first US flag was made of hemp. The original Levi jeans were made of hemp. In 1942, the US government strongly encouraged hemp cultivation to help with the war effort, even so far to produce a film entitled,” Hemp for Victory’. And in 1941, Henry Ford built a car with plastic made from hemp and wheat straw.

How then did such a useful and promising cash crop go wrong? The powerful industrialists of the early and mid 20th century saw competition from hemp that challenged the new and profitable petro- chemical and manufacturing companies that were developing after WWII. It wasn’t long before hemp was vilified and finally declared an illegal substance in 1970 because of its association with recreational marijuana. All research and refinements to hemp were completely closed down and this valuable beneficial cash crop with so many varied uses was abandoned. They threw out the baby with the bath water. Of course, the law did not stop recreational use of cannabis, as we are all well aware. And eventually, the movement to legalize cannabis began to grow. Thoughtful folks now are beginning to once again realize the time honored value that a natural fiber such as hemp offers us. Now there are states which have legalized growing operations and sales of medicinal, recreational as well as some industrial hemp. There is an actual patent held by the US government which is allowing the study and reintroduction of hemp into our economy. Maybe we should not be subsidizing crops like corn and sugar


which make us sick and fat and instead explore the huge promise of industrialized hemp. Enterprising individuals and companies see the opportunity to once again revitalize this ancient, versatile and valuable crop as the green movement grows and people seek more eco- friendly products. Wouldn’t it be wonderful not to worry about adverse reactions to the chemicals in your carpets, your bedding, the insulation in your very homes? Healing Spring Recipes By Gloria Zabala Spring is a new beginning—the time of year when the plants and animals awaken from their long winter nap. People also tend to rise earlier with the sun and take on the new sights. It seems the tender young plants nourish the soul through the eyes as the appetite for food decreases. The body seems to yearn to cleanse itself not only of the heavier foods from the winter but also of the attached emotions of dissatisfaction, impatience and anger as well. This is a natural time to change one’s food consumption from the heavier foods that comfort and keep us warm to the lighter foods that cleanse. This is the season to focus on the liver and gall bladder. In spring we naturally eat less -- or even fast-- to cleanse the body of the fats and heavy foods of winter. Too many heavy foods at this time of the year clog the liver resulting in that sluggish feeling. The liver is probably the most congested of all the organs in the modern person. Too much fat, chemicals, artificial flavorings and preservatives all disrupt the complex biochemical processes of the liver. Raw food consumption should increase when signs of heat increase in the climate or during times of greater physical activity.

BITTER HERBS The Chinese Five Element Theory has much to say about the profound impact of various bitter foods herbs on health. BLENDED GREEN SALAD SMOOTHIE: This savory smoothie is filled with nutrient-rich greens. Leafy greens contain numerous cleansing compounds. Parsley is especially helpful in eliminating heavy metals, pesticides and herbicides. Turmeric is one of the most powerful foods for maintaining a healthy liver. Turmeric has been shown to actively protect the liver against toxic damage, and even regenerate damaged liver cells. It has many anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In a Vitamix or powerful blender, add the following and blend for a smooth consistency: - 2/3 cup purified water - 2 tsp Core Greens (or your favorite green powder mix) - 1/4 cucumber, unpeeled if organic and chopped - 1/2 stalk of celery - 1/2 apple, (seeds removed) - 1/2 cup chopped kale, with stems removed (bok choy, spinach, or a favorite green) - 1/2 cup chopped romaine lettuce - 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley - 1/8 of a lemon, peeled (seeds are fine in a powerful blender) - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Instructions: Blend almonds and pine nuts together in a food processor or high powered blender. Add apples, basil, parsley, and dates and blend until creamy. Add a little water if needed to thin. For salad: Mix together and toss with dressing. - 4 ounces (about 4 cups) organic baby spinach - 4 ounces (about 4 cups) romaine lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces - 2 cups Boston lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces - 2 cups arugula - 1 cup watercress leaves - 2 heaping cups (about 6 ounces) snow peas, sliced - 1 cup frozen peas, thawed - 5 scallions, chopped - 1 medium cucumber, chopped - 1 avocado, chopped

ASPARAGUS The springtime produce spotlight for this month is on asparagus! Asparagus, one of the first vegetables ready for harvest in the spring is usually used as a side dish or an afterthought, but celebrate spring with this wonderful salad. It is packed with vitamin K which is important in many ways, including for blood clotting and bone health. In addition to being a great source of vitamin K, asparagus is also loaded with vitamins A, C, and E, folate, thiamine, riboflavin, copper, and selenium. When grocery shopping, look out for the white and purple varieties of asparagus too; they all are extremely healthful! Steaming, grilling, or broiling asparagus helps to preserve the water soluble vitamins packed in this nutrient-dense vegetable.

GREEN SALAD WITH BASIL APPLE DRESSING For dressing: -

1/2 cup sliced almonds 1/2 cup pine nuts 2 apples, chopped 2 packed cups fresh basil leaves 4 cups fresh parsley (do not pack) 4 medjool dates or 8 deglet noor dates, pitted May/June 2014—Page 15

ASPARAGUS THERAPY TO DETOX YOUR GALLBLADDER Use this consistently day in and day out for best results! Cook asparagus, place in blender and blend until smooth. Store in refrigerator. Take 4 tablespoons 2x daily, morning and evening

ASPARAGUS, FARRO & MUSHROOM SALAD Asparagus is combined with farro, an ancient grain with a nutty flavor and creamy texture. For salad: - 1 cup uncooked faro - 1 pound asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces - 10 ounces mushrooms, sliced - 1 clove garlic, chopped - 1/2 cup red onion, chopped - 1 cup chopped arugula - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Instructions: In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of water to boiling. Stir in farro; return to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until farro is tender. Drain. Meanwhile, place asparagus in a large skillet, add 1/2 inch of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat; cover and simmer for 3-5 minute until crisp-tender. Drain and place in a large bowl. Add mushrooms and garlic to skillet and sauté until mushrooms are soft and lightly browned. Add to bowl with asparagus. Add cooked farro to asparagus and mushrooms, along with chopped onion, arugula and walnuts. For dressing: -

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup walnuts 1/4 cup raisins 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard black pepper, to taste

Tip: can be diluted in water and drink hot or cold. Simply add the recommended 4 tablespoons in a glass of water, stir, and drink. In conclusion, remember to eat fruits and vegetables that are in season. Most of your produce, however, should include water-rich alkaline greens. Treat yourself to the seasonal fruits even if they are on the medium to high GI side. It’s better to consume these on a seasonal cleanse than any animal food. Fruits in season are highly nutritious. The only drawback in consuming sweet fruit is the amount of sugar present in it. Go with the flow of the season. Enjoy what nature has provided!

Part II - The Uncharted Territory of

Remote Healing Ida Lawrence, Contributor, WAKING TIMES

If I experience something that heals me… really helps me live with less physical and psychological pain, then that’s my experience and it happened. And if it happened because a healing energy arrived from someone far away and nobody else saw it or felt it but I did, then that’s my real-deal remote healing experience. Subjective or not, there’s no New Age “beam me up Scottie” stuff here – it’s just brave souls, theoretical physics, metaphysics, skill and much loving kindness. In a previous article on remote healing, featuring the May/June 2014 Issue—Page 18

work of Soren Dreier, I talked about the ‘how’ of it, and also spoke about causes of disease as bad food, too much food, no nutrition, toxic substances, viruses and bacteria, stressful thoughts, attachment to negative emotions and so on. I wrote about healing of the physical body, and pointed out that disease moves from the energy body into the physical body. In this 2nd in the series, I’m going to go a little deeper down the rabbit hole. We’re going to revisit the accumulation of stressful thoughts and attachments to negative


emotions as potential origins of physical disease. So much of it is related to fear and our adaptive behavior as we seek to control what is happening to us. As we know, if we study this kind of work, our thoughts are manifested in our lives… change your thoughts and emotions, and reactions and opinions, and you will change your life. It took me a long, long time to understand the truth of that information and put it into practice in my life. And it took me even longer to look at how my psychology would affect my etheric or energy body, which in turn affects my physical body. Understanding of this reality came from years of studying Stuart Wilde’s work and the work of his students. Healing was a natural outcropping of what Stuart taught. The first time I ever watched energy healers at work was during one of Stuart’s Las Vegas seminars. Khris Krepcik and Jeff Casper were working on people who had signed up for a healing, and I was watching closely from the front row. At one point Khris turned toward me, made a few movements with his hands, and went back to the work he was doing. That night I enjoyed the first full night of sleep in months. The next day I couldn’t help but wonder… did he do something? Years later, during the final stage of my husband’s life, I knew that I had to get some help. The pressures of caregiving had been burning me out and it felt like I was in a chronic panic state. I contacted Jeff and arranged for a remote healing. This decision would lead to a series of remote healings in the midst of the most psychologically and emotionally difficult time of my life. Psychological patterns and emotional attachments can be seen in the etheric body, sometimes as artifacts and hooks, etheric dirt, certain color clusters and more, all of which the remote healer can remove. But of course if thought and behavior patterns don’t change, these will soon be replaced by more. In addition to your own issues, unhealthy emotional projections from others can take form within your etheric body when you have an affinity to those projections It’s amazing to me that our emotional patterns and attachments are written in the energy body. If the healer is able to read it, and the recipient is able to take owner-

ship of it, profound change can occur. Over time, from the first session to the last, reports came from Jeff that led directly to areas of my own psychology that I knew were afflicting me. These issues were deep, and it took strength and honesty and courage to do the transformation work. Sometimes, just like with physical disease, we don’t want to let go of our emotional and psychological patterns. We erroneously believe that they are our strength. The truth is that they are our hidden coping mechanism. After one year of working on the issues Jeff pointed out, I asked him if he encounters difficulty if the recipient doesn’t want to release attachments. He responded that yes, that can happen, and it can make the healing challenging but it won’t prevent the work from being done. If a person’s ego, mind, and emotions hold on, the healing will be a slower process, but if they let go and open up, deeper energetic work can come in. Well, I hoped that I hadn’t given him too much of a challenge. In the beginning, I hadn’t really wanted him to see the condition I was in, but there’s no hiding place in the etheric… it’s the real you with all of your crap attached, and no smiles can take it away. So you need to trust. I opened up to the healing in ways I had never done before. I was tired of sickness: my intent was to get well. Confidence in the healer’s own cleanliness of spirit is vital to trust as they must know themselves well and work to keep their energetic systems clear. Stuart Wilde was a personal friend of Soren, and a mentor and friend of Khris and Jeff. For years I had considered Stuart the metaphysical front line. This gave me a solid foundation of trust – I could be vulnerable, and be safe, and be helped and healed. Of course there are other remote healers that I don’t know, and I certainly mean no disrespect for any of them. When you have found a person whose skill you can see, whose heart is warm and loving – someone who has done the work on themselves – then the trust relationship can begin. And in the end, of course, your remote healer leads you toward taking responsibility for your own energy, and self healing. It’s really a beautiful world, isn’t it… this renewal. Being Human

April 14 — Wow, the middle of April and going strong. I must have missed the notification that my article was due. So, I sit down to write with intention to put into print today what needs to be said. It is also my intention that someone who reads it or maybe more than one someone needs to see this in print.

Every time an old feeling that we have choked down resurfaces, feel it and then breathe it out. Let yourself marinate in it for a while; not long enough to wallow, just long enough to really feel it. We would not want to be complaining about it to our friends and family. They have their own feelings to deal with and do we want to hear it??? Not at all.

I really thought December 21, 2012 would bring magnificent and wonderful things. I do believe in magic. I do believe in miracles. I have faith that the Universe loves me. BUT, life has been very, very difficult not only for me, but for so many since that date.

We came here to be human and no matter how magical the times become, we will always have duality on this planet and that means the negative or darker side will surface.

I know it can always be worse in so many ways. Yet, I continually hear make your affirmations positive. Turn your negative thoughts into positive affirmations. You are creating your life!!

Will it get better? Maybe and maybe not, but we will get better at living life. We will learn to cruise through it all in an easier way and we can only do this by living through all the negative we can to move it out of our own way.

Oh, no! I seem to have more and more negative thoughts. Am I bad? Am I doing it wrong? How can I fix this? Oh, so many questions.

So, join me in saying, Halleluiah! I am swimming in the dark and negative and that means I will soon be living in the lightest of light and I will know how to live in the easiest possible way because I was blessed with a load of experience and training.

The angels continue to tell me to just BE. Allow myself to feel each emotion thoroughly and then let it go. Here is the real lesson in the LETTING GO. Not the denying of the emotion, but feeling it and letting it go. That is how we are digging our way out of the darkness that has been part of this world for eons.

My wish for all is that we have learned all we need to learn and find ourselves sailing through life in the easiest possible way. So, be grateful for all the negative challenges for we are all about to graduate into a new energy. For some it is already happening and for the rest of us it will be very, very soon. It’s Time for Spring Cleaning

ith winter finally coming to the end, it is time to do spring cleaning, and spring cleaning should include treating your body to a Detox. There are MANY ways to detox; there are many programs on the market. I personally have done the Master Cleanse almost every year, but those types of programs can be extreme and hard to stick to. One of the ways commonly overlooked is the Ionic Foot Detox. Perhaps the best benefit is getting almost 30 minutes of time away from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine preferably in an environment that is conducive to healing.

How does it work? The Ionic Cleanse works by osmosis. The array goes into the water with the feet, and the control unit delivers a current to the array.
