13 SUMMARY
The territory selected for the „Smart City VIII“ project is the development of the city of Elektrėnai, near the shore of the lagoon. Precise location – Draugystės st. 32A. The parking lot provided in the current territory is not functionally used, it does not promote the development of the city, therefore it is chosen to create unique residential spaces in this place. However, the project could be adapted for other activities in this area. Conclusion of the conceptual project: 1. Be creating the concept of a modular house and a public building, the area would encourage activities on the shores of the lagoon, the buildings would attract the attention of tourists. 2. The expanding city would have additional residences for permanent residents or short-term rentals. 3. Designed territory with 56 residences, parking lot, park with playgrounds, public building with meeting rooms, work and recreation areas. 4. According to the needs of Elektrėnai municipality, the territory could be adapted for the needs of kindergarten and pre-school education.
