AREA FIREFIGHTERS SALUTE LATE MONTAGUE FIRE CHIEF, RON HASKINS VETERAN FIREFIGHTER PASSED AWAY AUG. 5 AT AGE 73 ASHLEY KULP akulp@metroland.com Late Montague Township fire chief, Ron Haskins, was given a heartfelt send-off by his peers Thursday, Aug. 9. Haskins, 73, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5 in hospital in Kingston. He dedicated more than 40 years of service to the Montague Fire Department and had a helping hand in its inception on April 1, 1976.
