Thanks to all the coaches who make this newsletter great! Lots of great pictures this month and good content included with the pictures. Thanks so much! If you have an article to send with the pictures, please put it in a Word file. Email text does not copy and paste well. I retire this month. If you are interested in having a skeet or trap clinic for you team this fall, let me know. I have time and I truly enjoy coaching anything that involves a shotgun and clay target. Between shooting, coaching, and fishing I should stay busy.

Hope all of you have a successful trip to Ohio and the SCTP Nationals. Unfortunately I can’t make it this year. I wish you all well. Have a great month!
Loitz

(Marengo, OH) The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) through its Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) is again partnering with the Kids and Clays Foundation to host the 9th Annual registered two-day sporting clay charity event at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio. This year will again include a two-day Five-Stand competition.
Proceeds from both events benefit SSSF’s Scholarship Program as well as participating Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters through the Kids & Clays Foundation.
The registered sporting clays event will be held Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20 during SSSF’s Scholastic Clay Target Program & Scholastic Action Shooting Program National Championships. Due to high demand of the registered sporting clay event, squads had been increased from four person to five person squads. The top four scores from each squad will be tallied for team totals. The registered five-stand event will be held Wednesday, July 17th and Thursday, July 18th. Both events are open to parents and coaches of athletes attending the SCTP& SASP, the athletes themselves, and the general public.
Registrants for both events will be entered in drawings for a large prize package of firearms as well as outdoor and shooting gear all worth more than $10,000 total! Prizes donated by many great sponsors. Sign up for either or both events at Cardinal Center or visit www.scorechaser.com and select event “SCTP Registered Sporting Clays event” or “SCTP Registered Five-Stand event.”
The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is the nation’s leader in youth development shooting sports programs. The Kids and Clays Foundation supports a series of shooting events across the country with all proceeds benefiting participating Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters which serve critically ill children and their families. All proceeds from both events will help each organization fulfill their mission.
“We’re not only happy to partner with Kids & Clays on the sporting clays event but are thrilled to be able to again offer a second event allowing for more fun and competition,” said Rick Leach, president of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation. “These events will make for a great ending to what is again shaping up as recordsetting National Championships at Cardinal.” “We feel blessed to be working with SSSF and its amazing coaches and athletes on these fundraising events,” said Doug Jeanneret, Executive Director of the Kids & Clays Foundation. “These events are fun competitions where athletes, coaches, and critically ill children and their families all benefit.”
