we are guided to start by choosing a practice — whether it’s an asana sequence, a mantra for meditation, or a daily walk with the phone left behind – and commit to it. As the practice builds steam, this empowers us to weaken our attachments to the distractions from the practice, and more easily find our way back to it again and again. Our Foundations Program is for students of yoga who realize that yoga is a deeply intimate event for the body-mind-spirit and that its beauty lies in how differently it is expressed from person to person. We offer essential information, tools and guidance to help emerging teachers find their unique voice and style of teaching. Applications for the 2018-19 program due Aug 1.
