Brief Title: Celebrity Culture Exhibition

Context Celebrities have become such a powerful figure in today’s culture; they influence what is popular, fashion, people’s opinions etc. If you ask someone who their idol is they quite often will say a celebrity, it has become almost to a point of worship.

Brief or Tasks Create an exhibition that describes this obsession in today’s culture with celebrities and the power that they behold. Determine the concept of the exhibition. Create the identity and branding that is appropriate to the chosen concept and direction of this exhibition, the promotional material will also be produced. The audience for this exhibition is 18 – 35 male and female. They may have a key interest in the cultural sector and an interest in celebrity culture or just the 21’st century ideology. They will be a visual person with an appreciation and understanding for exhibitions.

Preparation/Research suggestions Research will need to be undergone into the subject of celebrity obsession; a deep understanding will be needed to develop a concept that is coherent of the subject. Research into exhibition branding, identity and promotion. Research into audience.

Evidence – for this project students should submit On going evidence and documentation of development on the blog. Design boards that collectively show the finished project Exhibition identity, and promotional goods.
