SAGE PREMIUM DENIM BAR BY Britta Newton MODEL Jennifer M. of Anthony HAIR AND MAKEUP Jenny Truitt

For this month's boutique spotlight we traveled south down I-35 to Goldsby, Oklahoma. Sage is a women's boutique specializing in premium denim, cowboy boots, tops, accessories, home decor and gift items. Walking into Sage customers get a warm greeting and at-home feeling. The boutique is located inside of Equi-Mart (horse equipment, vaccines and vet supplies) so you definitely get the country charm walking in and out of the doors. Sage is best known for their western style boots and premium denim jeans, but I love the cute tops, comfortable dresses and unique layering pieces that make it worth the drive. The looks I loved and wanted to showcase from Sage were the variety of chambray and something very on trend right now, crochet details.

DRIVE INTO THE FUTURE:
COOL NEW CAR FEATURES BY
Beth Ann Mock Automobiles have become high-tech, like every other consumer aspect of the world. A lot of today’s cars require skilled professionals to work on and maintain their space age systems. It can be worth it though, as the new conveniences are as luxurious and safe as they are amazing. A piece of good news is the electronic gadgetry in new vehicles is extremely reliable. Yes, you may have to take them in instead of doing the work yourself and the pieces of equipment are pricey to replace, but they are well crafted. Also, repairs to the new cars are not as time-consuming as it is to replace rather than fix the problem component. Cars that share information electronically from one part to another are not only more user-friendly, they can also be easier to repair. A computerized function made to turn on another piece of machinery under the hood is a lot less complicated than relying on a few manual switches that send power through a maze of connections.

Then the component reports the information back to EyeSight’s main computer. It then engages the brakes and controls the throttle. Some drivers may find one aspect of EyeSight inconvenient. Equipped with an 8-inch LCD screen, this system has natural voice recognition. CUE is compatible with up to ten devices. Its menu appears automatically as it senses your hand reaching toward it. Once you withdraw your fingers the system menu retreats, leaving the screen blank until you are ready to use it again. GEMINI (MAY 21 - JUNE 20) You feel opposed in your working life and will be frustrated in trying to meet your deadlines with others trying to obstruct you. After the 4th you may need to request the assistance of an employer or someone who can mediate the situation. Extracurricular activities can drain you. Between the 20th and the 26th focus on family matters and slow the pace.
CANCER (JUNE 21 - JULY 22) This month you will want the party, but be careful because you still have responsibilities to attend to. You may have had enough of the general public and simply want your own space with some time among close friends who understand your dilemma. As long as you balance these two aspects of your life, there should be no problem. Cut back expenses as Jupiter is making you a little spend thrifty this month.
LEO (JULY 23 - AUGUST 22) You are successful this month with even more energy going into your professional activities to suit your ambitions are realized. Some of you born under Leo may actually choose to start a new line of work or will at least have the opportunity to throw your hat in the ring for a new position being offered within your existing employment. You will be lucky this month. Challenges on the home front may distract you from your social and professional obligations. 28
so6ix.com | MAY 2013
VIRGO (AUGUST 23 - SEPTEMBER 22) You are extremely popular just now and the coming months will bring you even greater successes. You are feeling the power of your own popularity just now but must not be afraid to capitalize on that. For some reason, which is part of your star sign trait, you feel guilty if you feel as though you are taking advantage of others. Put these silly thoughts to the side and make the most of your life throughout. This month you will achieve some success in work or attain a new position. The 12th to the 20th is a powerful time for finances. Love and career are intertwined.
LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23 - OCTOBER 22) YChanges on the home front require a careful analysis of money and in particular any debts, but may be incurred to fulfill your desires and this part of your life. Speculations between the 2nd and the 5th may leave you short changed. After the 8th some opportunities to fulfill your desires domestically will come about after fruitful meetings with a bank manager or other financial advisers. Another key date which is lucky for is the 23rd, and this increases your earning potential.
SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23 - NOVEMBER 21) Your relationships once again dominate your life and the passionate planets and the Sun and Mercury focus your attention primarily on your ‘significant other’. Some important decisions may need to be made throughout May and
S AT I R E
TAURUS (APRIL 20 - MAY 20) There may be obstacles in relationships between the first and the 10th of May. Try to be more understanding of others because you may be missing something in the dialogue. If you are aware enough you will be able to not only smooth over difficulties, but improve your relationships over the long term. when Venus enters your Sun sign. An unexpected financial opportunity could also present itself after the 24th.
as a new Moon occurs in this specific zone of marriage and public relations, a new phase will commence but this may not happen until some intense discussions and the emotional clearing has taken place.
SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 22 - DECEMBER 21) Eclipses influencing your daily routine and also your marital sphere indicate some major lessons are going to be learned this month and how you deal with your nearest and dearest will have long term ramifications. Being healthy, tending to a good diet and taking adequate rest will be key ingredients in resolving your differences. The 10th, the 25th and again the 31st of the month will spotlight some of these core relationships issues.
CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22 - JANUARY 19) This should be more of a fun filled month but you may again over do things and try to cram too much into the month. Between the 6th and the 10th you will be busily engaged in entertaining friends, meeting new people and possibly even sparking a new romantic relationship if you are single. Opportunities seem to be sudden but printable for you but you need to keep your eye on the ball.
AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20 - FEBRUARY 18) Home affairs top the agenda, as no less than 5
planets occupy your zone of domestic activities. There may be construction, renovation and redecoration as part of your schedule. An eclipse in this area also points to the fact that you may need to clear out any skeletons from the closet, especially those that relate to parents, siblings or other relatives.
PISCES (FEBRUARY 19 - MARCH 20) You will be at odds this month over what to do about your desire to change your pace, your lifestyle or possibly even your residence. Whatever you’re planning, rest assured it may not come easily as Saturn opposes several planets this month. Patience is your greatest virtue, especially after the 14th when confusion may reign. Some clarity on home affairs is bound to take place after the 21st when the Sun moves through your zone of family life. The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter is fortuitous on the 29th. You may receive a gift or desire to give someone something of value.
ARIES (MARCH 21 - APRIL 19) You do not have the energy to do good work this month and some time around the 7th you are advised to look elsewhere to focus your energies. Take a rest, chill out and come back to your tasks when your mind is refreshed. A solar eclipse on the 21st is significant and forces you to look at your relationships, romantic affairs and also connections with children if you are a parent. This can be very revealing if you remain open to what is being shown to you. so6ix.com | MAY 2013

Britta Newton I love this linen button-up by Isda and Co (available at Ruth Meyers) because of it's simple clean cut look, and breathable fabric. It's cute enough to have rest stop photos taken of you, and comfy enough for the hours in between.
Denim jackets are so hot right now. I love this striped version by Forever 21.
