2010 & INVESTING By: Steven Grimes After two years up on the high wire, investors will likely find 2010 a little less dangerous (although still not dangerfree), with no shortage of challenges—or opportunities. In 2010, the calming of financial markets, combined with a shallow economic recovery should prompt a more stable market environment. Over the past two years, there has been little room for investors to hide from market volatility. During that time, virtually every sector of the market was dragged down by one crisis or another, leaving no room for investors to seek solace. With news and economic outlooks still offering little more than a foggy uncertainty of what is to come, there seems to be some light shining through the clouds. 2010 looks to be similar to what we saw in the latter part of 2009: a more stable, much less volatile overall market place with the potential for some growth and recovery. Investors in 2010 should be able to establish a good strategic outlook for their overall diversified portfolios, and look to increase their investments with tactical investment specific industries. Unlike the past few years that left almost every area plagued by the financial crisis, 2010 markets may offer investors the ability to focus on some individual areas that may perform better than others. One of the major themes some investors may use during 2010 is going global. While the United States economic outlook for 2010 is less than fantastic, other countries around the globe may offer the chance to find values by not directly affected by the US economy. That being said, there should be good opportunities within our own borders, as well as to find companies or funds to invest in, that take advantage of the new legislation and available capital. Contact your financial advisor to discuss both your long term financial goals, and perhaps ideas for the short time ahead.

OSU Cowboy Review

By Brandy Morris

The Oklahoma State Cowboys had a great non-conference season suffering two losses. Tulsa got the win 86-65 on Dec. 2 and Rhode Island handed the Cowboys their second loss 63-59 on Jan. 2. Gallagher Iba Arena was rocking when the Cowboys defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders 81-52. The first bedlam battle with OU did not end in a victory as the Sooners defeated the Cowboys 62-57 in overtime in the Lloyd Noble Arena. The Cowboys traveled to Baylor and the Baylor Bears defeated the Cowboys 83-70. The Cowboys have several good starters this season, who will write their names in the Cowboy record book. Junior guard James Anderson is third in scoring in the Big 12, averaging 23 points per game. Anderson is a leader on the court and attempts to make plays when needed. Anderson scored 28 points against Texas Tech, 18 points against Oklahoma and 20 points in the game against Baylor. Senior Obi Muonelo is the only senior on the team and averages 12 points per game. He scored 12 points against Texas Tech, was held to 3 points against Oklahoma and 21 points against Baylor. Freshman guard Ray Penn is another Cowboy starter who is playing a great deal of minutes this season. He scored 12 points against Texas Tech, 14 points against Oklahoma and 5points against Baylor. James Anderson - Junior Guard Coach Ford has several players on the bench that have contributed to Cowboy victories. In three conference games, they have contributed 69 points. The Cowboys have improved since last season, they seem to be moving the ball on the court and looking for the open man. They are picking up rebounds, putting the shots back up on the offensive end, and looking for the rebounds on the defensive end. Obi Muonelo - Senior February will be hot for the Cowboys as they face Texas twice, Oklahoma, Kansas and Baylor. Player stats were found at www.okstate.com and www. big12sports.com. Sooner Review By Brandy Morris

Jeff Capel - Coach

Tiny Gallon - Freshman Forward

Tommy Mason-Griffin

Tony Crocker - Senior Guard

Cade Davis

Willie Warren

www.so6ix.com

The OU Sooner basketball season kicked off on Nov. 3. They have since gone 9-6 in non-conference play, not a perfect start to the season. The Sooner nation was not happy to see the Sooners lose the conference opener 91-60 against the Baylor Bears. However, things are looking up as they defeated the OSU Cowboys 62-57 in an all out battle that ended in overtime, and defeated a good defensive team, the Missouri Tigers 66-61. The Sooners win streak at home as of the Missouri game is still intact. Coach Jeff Capel has two very talented McDonald’s AllAmerican freshman players who are starting to develop a rhythm on the court. Freshman forward Tiny Gallon is averaging 12 points a game. The young man is on a path to shatter many records (and a few backboards) at OU in rebounding and scoring. He did not have a great game against Missouri as he failed to score in the game. Freshman guard Tommy Mason-Griffin’s numbers are climbing in the assists category, which will be an asset as conference play heats up. Mason-Griffin scored a 3-pointer to turn the tide in the Sooner’s favor against OSU. Mason-Griffin does have a great 3-point shot and can get to the rim, when he faces tough situations, but he needs to work on ball handling and turnovers. Senior guard Tony Crocker’s offensive contributions to the team were missed in the Missouri game when he went out within the first two and a half minutes of the first half with an ankle injury. Crocker did not return until late in the second half with 12 minutes and 55 seconds left in the game. Coach Capel had Crocker’s ankle wrapped and taped and the young man was back on the court for almost a full three minutes to give players Cade Davis and Willie Warren a break. The Sooners have had cold starts in many of their games in late December and in early January. This may prove to be a problem as they face top ranked teams such as Texas, Kansas, Kansas State and Baylor. Kansas and Baylor tend to get off to good starts and have a great 3-point game. Both teams are in the Big 12 top five in 3-point completions for the Big 12. The Sooners will have some tough games in February as they face Texas and Kansas; both ranked in the AP Top 25 according to ESPN.com. I hope that the Sooners cohesiveness as a team will further develop as they go along and result in them playing strong in March. The Thunder Rolls On By Brandy Morris

The Oklahoma City Thunder has come a long way since last season. Last season they had 1 preseason win and 22 regular season wins. This season they have won 2 preseason games and 22 regular season games with 42 games left to play after defeating the Miami Heat on Jan. 16. The team has improved tremendously after making coaching adjustments by replacing P.J. Carlesimo with Scott Brooks early in the season last year. A few changes in the roster and the Thunder are rolling. Kevin Durant, a starting forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder, currently leads the team averages in points with 29.1 and 7.2 rebounds. KD, as Thunder fans know him, has been a scoring machine. He has had 12 games this season scoring 30 or more points. His performance this season has kept the Thunder fans roaring. Russell Westbrook, point guard for the Thunder is the current assist leader. Westbrook and Durant are making their presence felt on the court around the NBA. Thunder fans can check out the Thunder’s “Dynamic Duo” on these dates:

OKLAHOMAN FINDS GOLD By Brandy Morris

Matthew Donovan’s path to a gold medal came with a lot of sacrifice. Donovan, an Edmond native, didn’t have a typical childhood. Parties and prom were for others. He was on the ice, working to get to the National Hockey League. Donovan won his first gold medal playing for the United States in Alberta Canada, at the World Junior A Challenge in December 2008. He won his second gold medal during the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championships in Saskatchewan, Canada on Jan. 5; Team USA won the gold defeating Canada in overtime. “It was the best feeling I’ve ever had, playing a game where 15,000 Canadians were cheering AGAINST us, Donovan said, “Nothing can compare.” Donovan learned to skate about the same time he learned to walk. His father, Larry took him out on the ice and walked with him to get him acclimated to the ice. It took months for him to learn to skate, but once he learned, he has lived on the ice. Hockey is a sport that is not as significant in Oklahoma as in other regions of the country. Donovan and his family have made many sacrifices to accomplish his goals. He has had figure skating lessons and competed in several competitions in Dallas, Philadelphia and Oklahoma City. He also took ballet lessons with his sister, Katelyn, at Ballet Oklahoma…Something he did not eagerly admit. Donovan changed schools 5 times while here in Oklahoma just to play hockey. He moved to Coppell, Texas for his sophomore year. While he was in Texas, he joined the Dallas Stars Midget Major team. Several teams in the United States Hockey League scouted him. He moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa during his junior and senior years of high school. The Cedar Rapids Roughriders drafted him in the first round of the 2007 USHL Draft. Denver University offered Donovan a scholarship. The Pioneer team is number 1 in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll. The freshman is a defenseman on the Pioneer team. He has played in 17 games, has 7 assists, 2 goals and 9 points. He is undecided on his major. “My goal is to play professionally, but helping Team USA win a gold medal was icing on the cake,” Donovan said. “I set short and long- term goals and presently my short term goal is to help the University of Denver win an NCAA Championship.” It looks like Donovan has met his long-term goal as well; the New York Islanders drafted Donovan in the fourth round of the NHL draft in 2008, 96th overall. They could call him up at anytime. Olympic gold runs in Donovan’s family. His mother, Kathryn, won a gold medal at the 1985 World Skeet Shooting Championships. She shot 100 out of 100 in the Champion of Champions Event. “There were 17 people that went straight into the preliminary round, and I beat every man in the tiebreaker shoot-off,” Kathryn said. The National Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame inducted her in 1997.

ARIES

TAURUS

Hard work characterizes this month, due to the malevolent influence of Saturn and Pluto on your horoscope. Going back over your work will be frustrating, but essential to get it right. This desire to make sure you extract the best from your work is evident and will pay off around the 2nd of February when Jupiter and Mars offer you some relief.

New beginnings in your romantic life are forecast this month, especially between the 8th and the 11th. Get ready for a load of fun! You will have a deep yearning for some soul-stirring friendship or love affair, but you must be careful that this connection is not based upon pity or an inclination to see people through rose colored glasses, when in fact they are just ordinary, down-to-earth people.

LEO

VIRGO

This month your creative juices are flowing, and this can be highlighted by the combined influence of the Sun and Neptune. Between the 15th and the 17th some wonderful social and creative opportunities are likely to occur, and it’s simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of these wonderful celestial energies. You may become scared if an opportunity is presented. The old saying nothing ventured, nothing gained could be applicable now.

There’s a good chance you’ll have an opportunity to stand out from the crowd throughout February, and especially after the 2nd, you’ll be in the limelight; the object of other people’s attention, and also their praise and blame. Ordinarily, for most signs, this wouldn’t present too much of a problem, but being shy might present some problems. Nerves could get the better of you and you might spend days worrying, especially if you have to get up and talk at a social gathering.

SAGITTARIUS SAGIT TT

CAPRICORN

You’re prompted to spend big in February, especially if you haven’t been satisfied with any aspect of your living space. You have the opportunity to call in a builder or architect to modify your domestic living area, especially if you feel cramped or your house’s color scheme has not been quite to your liking. It’s the perfect time to bring things into harmony, and even if it costs you a bit of money to do so, you’ll be more than happy to make this investment.

Venus coming into contact with Jupiter on the 17th, and then the Sun also making a wonderful connection with jovial Jupiter on the 28th, is an excellent omen for success, generosity, and happiness all around. I can safely predict some wonderful new opportunities for you at this time, and this may even include travel, new business contacts, and/or employment interviews for a much-coveted position with better pay prospects. This is certainly a lucky time for you in 2010.

Horoscopes February 2010 By Dadhichi and www.astrology.com.au GEMINI

CANCER

The Sun, entering your most important zone of work on the 19th, means you have a gift for expressing yourself in some public arena. Your professional aptitude will be noted by others. Your social status will be on the increase, and you’ll experience a great sense of achievement throughout most of the month. Your marital or romantic affairs could be bothersome around the 21st.

With Mercury in a fluster after the 8th, be careful how you communicate your thoughts and ideas, and whom you communicate those ideas to. You may be relying more predominantly on your intuition, which is represented by the strong influence of Neptune. Your communications may be very idealistic, and even though you grasp what you’re saying, don’t assume that others are on the same page. You need to be clearer in expressing your intentions and the meaning of these ideas.

LIBRA

SCORPIO

Between the 1st and the 8th, Saturn may be demanding so many responsibilities of you that you’ll need a way out. Be careful, as you’re likely to assume there is much more in a relationship than is actually there. This will be more important for singles out clubbing, meeting others, and feeling as if the person they meet at this time is Mr. or Ms. Perfect. It just isn’t so. Remember to keep your wits about you and remind yourself that we’re all human, and therefore possess frailties.

With Saturn in your zone of secrets, and behind-the-scenes activities, your best work may be in the solitude of your own personal space without too many distractions. If you’re trying to achieve a greater level of efficiency, respect, and control, use the energies of Saturn rather than Mars to achieve your goals in February. There’s no use getting overly frustrated or trying to dominate others. Quiet, assertive responses will be received far more easily, and this will be the way for you to gain greater respect in every area of your life.

AQUARIUS Q

PIS PISCES PI SCES CES E

Up to the 14th, when the new Moon occurs, you will be researching, investigating, and actively seeking answers to your life’s problems and challenges. This is not a bad thing, so don’t take what I’m saying as a negative. You’ll be curious, and using your mind to break through old patterns of behaviour and improve yourself and the relationships you’re currently involved in. This are all good things.

This month will be an important month for you to reconnect with old friends. A karmic connection can be experienced with someone from your past, and if there have been issues that haven’t been resolved, it’s now time to put aside dead, symbolic logic and connect with them on a heart level. After the 20th, your energy reaches a new high with the Sun returning to your birth chart natal position. You can expect your physical energy and confidence to increase.

FAT BURNERS ANYONE? By: Brian Attebery

So, you want to burn fat and you want it to take as little time as possible? There’s always starvation, but we’ve learned that for every pound we lose doing that, we will gain 1.5 lbs back that year. So check that off the list. How about doing a Biggest Loser type workout where we workout for 8 hours a day? Not realistic, is it? I suppose we should train with weights, do our cardio, and eat right. What if that is still not fast enough? For most, it never is. Fat burner supplements, or “thermogenic” supplements, are designed to speed up the process. The word thermogenesis refers to the process of food being converted to heat. Approximately 10% of the food we eat on a daily basis is converted to heat during the process of digestion. Eating more often and eating foods that are higher in protein increase the utilization of that process. It takes more “heat” to break down protein than a carbohydrate or fat. That being said, let’s assume you are doing all of this correctly and you have been giving a consistent, honest effort towards your fat loss. Fat burners are a wide variety or products to consider. For many years, the staple ingredients were caffeine, ephedrine, and a blood-thinning agent, such as a baby aspirin, to prolong the effects of these products. The idea was that the caffeine was a stimulant, and combined with the bronchio-dialator ephedrine, they would provide a synergistic effect. Think of it like this, 1+1=4. Alone, caffeine and ephedrine were able to raise your adrenal hormones, epinephrine and norepinephrine, causing fatty acid release, but together they were very powerful. This would increase the percentage of food converted to heat and not stored in the body. It would also increase the amount of fat utilized for energy if a person was taking in a few less calories than they were burning off, like someone does when trying to lose weight. Today, fat burners are way beyond that, even though the principles remain the same. Modern fat burners have synergistic ingredients from various asian herbs and known vitamins like green tea, black tea, oolong tea, yohimbe, B-Complex, and an array of other “proprietary blends,” which do not list the individual amounts that a certain company will have in their particular product. That is also why consumers must take caution when adding these products. Supplements will always have instructions and warnings, and your responsibility is to read them thoroughly. Most will say things like: “Do not take this product if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, thyroid, liver or kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or nursing”. Ultimately, these products elevate your heart rate and blood pressure minimally and for an otherwise healthy person that should be fine. For people with certain health conditions, they are not. That is why the warnings are there, and when people have ignored them then problems can occur. If you have any concerns that you are a person who should not use these products, then consult with your Physician. Regardless of what you decide, remember that there is not any product that is going to make up for a poor diet and lack of exercise. These products are supplements and that is what they should be used for. Brian Attebery is a Certified/Degreed Trainer who owns Results Fitness & Nutrition Center, L.L.C. www.resultsfitnessusa.com in Edmond, Oklahoma.

You could say that it was meant to be. With their birthdays being only one day apart, Nate and Marci Stager would tell you they were born to love each other. Shortly after meeting, these two fell in love and have never looked back. After dating only four months they both knew they would spend the rest of their lives together. Nate proposed to Marci on Valentine’s Day, and to no one’s surprise, she said “YES!” They were married eight months after meeting, and are now approaching their eight year anniversary. Nathan and Marci are proud parents of their beautiful daughter, Manning. Nathan comes from a loving family who has overcome challenging times. After losing everything in the May 3rd tornado, Nate realized that he wanted to pursue a career that would allow him to help others. After graduating from UCO, Nate is now living the dream as a Firefighter. Marci comes from a large and close knit family. She uses any excuse she can to spend time with her brother, three sisters, and parents. Marci attended college in Florida to pursue her passion for music, but quickly discovered Oklahoma was her home. Marci spends her free time helping in Manning’s classroom and loves working with all the children. Manning is quite the little princess of the house. Don’t let that title fool you, she’ll be the first one to get down in the dirt and dig for bugs. Manning is a very talented little girl, from arts and crafts and singing to martial arts and cheerleading, this girl can do it all!

MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE?

By Shawn Garza

If you are looking to start a new romance, spice up a current romance or looking for a way to make yourself more attractive to others, very little will help you launch that endeavor quite like learning to ballroom dance. The recent popularity of the hit TV show Dancing with the Stars has kindled a renewed interest in ballroom dancing. Ladies want to do it, and men want to impress the ladies. Ballroom is the only hobby which a couple can do in public that requires paying attention to one another without being adversarial. It teaches poise, grace, passion, sex appeal and etiquette. It requires actual physical contact unlike most dancing today in which the couple doesn’t touch and may not even look at each other. Some dances like rumba and tango, as J-Lo put it in the movie Shall We Dance, are vertical expressions of a horizontal wish. Ballroom dancing allows couples to express a full range of emotions with each other. The almost angry passion in tango, the sensuality of rumba, the longing in waltz, the love in bolero, the flirty playfulness in cha cha, the casual connection in foxtrot, the excitement of swing, the earthy spice in salsa, all these are emotions one wants in a romantic relationship and all of these are demonstrated while connecting through these dances. One learns to entertain one’s partner in an exciting way while connecting with the partner on an almost primal level. Ballroom dancing is, in the end, the best way to say “I love you” or “I want you” or both without needing to say a single word. Shawn Garza has been a ballroom dance instructor for seven years at Macias’ Dance Center. enter nter.. Hair provided by: y::

SIX ROMANTIC MOVIES By: Jacob Wells

As this Valentine’s Day rolls around I just wanted to take a brief moment and hand out our top romantic movie suggestions. Enjoy.

THE NOTEBOOK

Based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, the Notebook is an instant classic. Sparks, inspired by his Grandparents unconditional love for one another, set out to describe such a love in this masterpiece. This movie is full of wonderful acting, and combine that with a great love story, this one is bound to put at least one tear in your eye.

YOU’VE GOT MAIL

When Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) brings his “mega” chain bookstore to town, Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) is faced with the fact that she might have to shut down her small family bookstore. In real life they are fierce business competitors, but in the virtual world of email, they are anonymous pen pals who are quickly falling for each other. Will they ever discover this ironic happening? There’s only one way to find out…..

PRETTY WOMAN

When a less than classy prostitute (Julia Roberts) gets picked up by a wealthy executive (Richard Gere), sparks are bound to fly. This is the story of an unlikely pair who beat the odds and become something special. This romantic comedy never gets old, and is perfect for a date night. If you are having trouble finding love this Valentine’s Day, you might just be looking in the wrong places.

UP

No matter your age, this one is for everybody. As young boy, Carl and his playmate Ellie grow up dreaming of being famous explorers like their idol, world-renowned explorer Charles Muntz. Carl promises to take Ellie to Paradise Falls, a beautiful land of unexplored adventure, but they are constantly thwarted by one event after another. This story challenges the stereotypical perspective of what love is, and is sure to make you laugh and cry.

TITANIC

This is not only one of the best romantic films of all time, but also one of the greatest cinematic blockbusters. Based around the events surrounding the tragedy of the Titanic, a love story unfolds when a small time street ruffian gambles his way onto the maiden voyage of the greatest ship ever built. Sure to keep you on the edge of your seat!

PRINCESS BRIDE

Although I have Princess Bride listed at #6, it really should be #1! The greatest and perhaps the most creative love story of all time, this romantic adventure ensues when Princess Buttercup is being forced to marry a conniving, evil prince. Farm Boy/Dread Pirate Roberts/Wesley must save the day or the movie would be ruined. Plot spoiler, he becomes the hero! A tale of true love that would not be separated by the most insurmountable evil, or even death.

SPEED DATING By Miss Lorelei

It’s a new year, and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Have plans? If you are single, this can be a tough time. Men and women have always viewed dating and courtship differently, and why not, we are different. If you’re tired of seeing the same people in all the same places, you might try something new. At Speed Date Oklahoma, we offer an opportunity for groups of men and women to have face to face alone time with 10 to 15 single people with the same goal: Finding a match! This is unlike what you have seen before because we offer more than the ring of a bell. We offer connections in upscale restaurants, where you can relax and really ask key questions. You can tell in the 1st glance if you are attracted to someone, however, after a few minutes chatting, you may change your opinion. This is why speed dating can be the better alternative. It may provide you with a ticket to romance, or the chance to get out of a bad date fast. It’s safe, easy, and there are no regrets. If nothing else, look at it as an exciting chance to meet new people. You take notes, and after the event you go online and make your choices. If there is a mutual attraction you will receive an e-mail with the contact information. We offer support and dating advice; we are the ultimate “wingman.” If you do not get at least one match your first time we will give you another try for free. Personally, I have over a dozen successful matches that are married today. Check out our website and read about our services. You can register for free, and we will keep you updated on all new events. We are expanding to outdoor dates, like cruises, river trips, sporting events. I look forward to being your hostess for a most enjoyable evening! Register now for our next event at Cafe Nova, February 28 @ 7pm. Miss Lorelei :) www.speeddateoklahoma.com 58

SIX AWESOME VALENTINE’S DATES

By: Matt Farthing

1

Valentine’s Day has long been about the traditional date night. There is a reason why the dinner and a movie with flowers and candy has long been a favorite; because it works. So if you enjoy the traditional Valentine’s Day, book a reservation at your favorite restaurant, and buy tickets to “Dear John” for a great night. Oh, and don’t forget the flowers and candy.

2 The majority of people are satisfied with the dinner and movie date, but some

would like to see something that involves a little more effort. This is good because more than likely, it will be a lot cheaper. Instead of dining out at a fancy restaurant, bring the restaurant home. Find out what your partner’s favorite meal is, and cook it for them at home. Also, grab their favorite movie on the way home. This is the best way to show that you actually listen to what they like. And yes guys, flowers and candy are still a must.

3 Another good idea that many overlook is traveling. Dallas is a great place to go to get away for a few days. Book a hotel and go and discover all the new restaurants and stores. And ladies, if you want to surprise your guy when you get there, buy him tickets to the Thunder vs. Mavs game on the 16th. It will prove to him that Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all about you.

4 Let’s say that you and your significant other are very different, and you can’t

seem to find something both of you would enjoy. Neither one of you is interested in any new movies, and a date at a restaurant sounds like what you do every week. Take a day off and have a day-long couple’s spa visit. Everyone needs a trip to a decent spa in their life, so make this Valentine’s Day about rest and relaxation. Who knows, maybe it will become something you both want to do on a regular basis.

5 If you’re looking to escape the city on Valentine’s Day and don’t wont to

replace it with more of the same, take a weekend drive down Route 66. This lengthy highway stretches through eight states, and is littered with bed and breakfasts and a countless number of hole in the wall restaurants. Turn off your phones off and go for an intimate road trip.

6 Tired of the cliché Valentine’s Day plans, and looking for something new and

fun? The So6ix Adult Prom, benefitting March of Dimes, is the perfect way to experience an upper-class Valentine’s Day with a group of your closest friends. With food provided by Bolero, and drinks flowing all night, $75 a person is a reasonable price for a special Valentine’s date. The event will take place at 8 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the historic Santa Fe Train Station in Oklahoma City. This event will be the most exclusive party in town. For tickets, contact Jack McBride at 405-684-0450, or at jack@so6ix.com.

PERFECTION IS OVERRATED: BE YOURSELF By: Michael Cross (Dr. Tru Luv)

“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect, it means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.” When it comes to finding love this quote rings true. It seems that today, most people are searching for the “perfect” someone or the “perfect” relationship. Our society has created an image of what perfection should be and sadly people believe it’s true, searching for it every day of their single lives. Instead of looking for what they would personally desire in a mate, they wind up chasing after something that may not exist. Have you ever been interested in someone and ignored the potential of the relationship because you listened to others tell you that you could do better? You should never allow others to sway your decisions when it comes to dating. Friends can offer valuable pieces of advice, but they should never make choices for you. After all, you should be living life according to what makes you happy, not by what pleases others. Perfection, by all accounts, is a term created by society. You may never find what you are looking for if you are waiting for someone who fits society’s standard of perfection. Just think who you might pass up! Every person possesses imperfections, and so does every relationship. Being happy with your mate means that you learn to look beyond the imperfections and love the person for who they are. Be yourself, and find someone that appreciates you. Be sure you appreciate them as well, only then will you experience a satisfying relationship. When you find someone that fits with you, embrace it. Don’t let the world be your eyes.
