FASHION
What to Wear When It’s HOT As we get into the hottest days of the year, it’s no joke that we have it hard here in the Rio Grande Valley. There are only a few pieces of clothing that make us look stylish and let us be comfortable at the same time and as much as we love a minimalistic look, warm summer months are perfect to experiment with pops of color.
Yellow : The yellow trend is everywhere right now and I’m not surprised. It can go with anything: pants, dresses, shoes and even yellow tinted sunglasses! It’s the perfect hue for the hot months because it gives energy to an everyday outfit, or to stand out in a sea of LBD’s at night. If you don’t like to take huge risks, you can choose a mustard hue that pairs gorgeously with a diversity of other.
Little printed dress : We all love the typical little black dress, but this season it’s time to try the little printed dress. The printed version gives a little more personality and you can choose the one that best fits your style. Breezy or tight, polka dotted or striped, one color or lots of colors, you can’t go wrong.
Slides : Probably no other existing shoe trend characterizes summer better than slides. Even the highest-end designer brands like Valentino, Chanel and Gucci have embraced them, so this proves than even sandals can be elevated. From satin to embellished styles, slides have a slimming, sleek design; the cut elongates the leg and looks amazing on the foot.

FITNESS
A simple way to have
firm legs and glutes M
ost women don't think about how many times they stand up and sit down. They easily do a squat
but don't realize they're doing it because it's just second nature. Now I'm here to let women know that if you can’t go to the gym or use equipment, exists a solution to have a perky tush and firm legs. There is a variety of exercise but the one i want to talk about is the squat. Simply sitting up and down on a chair is a good way to start if you don't know how to perform this exercise or scared of hurting your knees. Simply get a chair where your legs are at a 90 degree angle. Now you're going to place your feet shoulder width apart ... There’s different stands but we're going to start with this one. You're going to sit up and down 100 times. See how you feel with those 100 reps if you can't finish that's ok there is always another day. If you can, see how sore you are, if you ain't too sore do it again, keep doing it until it's time to raise reps the next time around. Now how you place your feet has meaning to which part of your leg you are working. Three positions of your feet that you can work with for working out the quads for example, pointing toes out works (vastus
medialis) inner quad or tear drop per se, straight pointing toes works the front part of your quad (vastus intermedius), pointing toes slightly in works outer part (vastus lateralis).
By: Albert Gramoff @theycallmeyoda 956-617-6528
You can do all three positions of your feet and focus on what you want more. Extra tip the wider your stance or farther your legs are from shoulder width the more inner thighs and glutes you'll hit. Every night can be a leg workout with different positions. Try it out with the chair and see how your body changes for the better.
