Concept MinĂŠrale We were inspired by the sharp, cool surfaces of minerals such as crystals and rock formations and thought that this description could also translate into a scent. The cool, muted tones in the Whistles SS15 collection inspired our colour palette and would be suitable for both a male and female fragrance. The scent we are proposing would be a unisex product and would smell like crisp juniper berry with cool pine undertones.
The Brief Develop a concept for the first ever Whistle’s scent Audience Self assured, confident men and women looking for quality clothing/products that will easily transition from work to leisure wear. Submitted Deliverables Four concept boards proposing the visual aesthetic, concept and packaging of a possible Whistles scent.

Before we agreed upon the much more plain packaging (to keep with the current Whistles identity), I visualised using the patterns we saw in the existing Whistles SS15 collection on the boxes.
As we were using rocks and crystals as our muse, I saw scope to propose a collection of fragrances. They would be simple to name and the packaging could be the same, but differ in colour in accordance to whichever crystal they were names after.
