People will skip them without even thinking, but for someone, our phrases can be inspiring. We want to make our readers muse on. Phrase’s people are: - completely different, but are united by an interest in personal development. Individuals that love to dream and achieve their goals, and at the same time they are fragile natures and very romantic. COLOUR ISSUE Colours make you feel and romance is a feeling, so we added more impressibilities, emotions and susceptibilities for you. Our palette for this season has no boundaries because let us sense utmost.

EDITOR’S MOOD FOR APRIL ROMANCE Why? I want to show all the aspects of romance. Romance now, romance in the past, romance in the details. Romanticism is not boring. It is versatile, it is a separate science that is interesting to study. I want to try to do this in my April issue.

WHAT IS YOUR MOOD THIS MONTH?
New talents from different creative fields of activity talking about «Romance»
Describe romance in three words Blush, lace, freckles. Do you like the new romance (more conceptual one) or romance of the 19th century? I like the new romance, but we should remember that all trends came back from the past so, our associations with romanticism are mostly connected with the past and not many people imagine what modern romanticism looks like. What color do you associate with romanticiusm? Why? Colours like blush, pink quarts because it associates with pure, virginity, young angels cheeks and blush. Also, all shimmery colours are romantic for me. Does romance/ romanticism inspire you? romance and romanticism Inspire me so much because in romanticism you always have drama and its good for art. you can turn drama into art. If you were doing a work on the theme of “romance”, what would it be? Describe it. A couple of times I have done some of my works that were inspired by this theme. if you want to do a makeup on the theme of romanticism I advise you to use pastel tones with the blush.

Do you think you ar e a romantic person? yes, i am, but nowadays people live in a megapolis and getting too busy and too strict with years. they focus on other things. but I want to keep the romanticism in my heart for a long time.

I’d prefer new romance because it’s more innovative and expanded What colour do you associate with romanticism? Why? It is white (Pantone white 110608 TPG) colour, because, it shows pureness of love and a lifestyle of that time, also hues of this colour were used a lot in many masterpieces. Does romance/ romanticism inspire you? Definitely! Each epoch inspires me equally and they have a high influence on modern society and culture. If you were doing a work on the theme of “romance”, what would it be? Describe it. it would be a sculpture of two angels, made from white chocolate. Do you think you ar e a romantic person? I’m an absolutely romantic person. Last summer I’ve organised a romantic Italian dinner on the rooftop with an amazing sea-view. After we went to a planetarium to watch the stars in a telescope.

Describe romance in three words Passion, craziness, feelings Do you like the new romance (more conceptual one) or romance of the 19th century? I prefer the old one. I think people had much more energy and passion for love and life in general. What colour do you associate with romanticism? Why? Burgundy. I associate it with the red wine and wine with the romantic and cosy evening in a fish restaurantzsomewhere in Paris or Florence. Does romance/ romanticism inspire you? Absolutely. As for me, I can be inspired by all of the human feelings. If you were doing a work on the theme of “romance”, what would it be? Describe it. I imagine a couple taking a bath in a small apartment and one of them smoking, so I’d draw this picture or write a small novel about them a la Françoise Sagan. Do you think you ar e a romantic person? Definitely! I’m in love with love and all of those romantic things. Especially romantic poems and novels by Fitzgerald.

Describe romance in three words Paris, spring, nature. Do you like the new romance (more conceptual one) or romance of the 19th century? I prefer the new one because it gives you the opportunity to risk more and play with the style more. And new styles come from the traditional ones, so they are still connected and can be similar in different aspects. What colour do you associate with romanticism? Why? Pink, grey, and gold. For me, these colours mean kindness, love, and passion. They cause the feeling of comfort, calm. Does romance/ romanticism inspire you? Yes, I get inspiration from many things and romance is one of them. If you were doing a work on the theme of “romance�, what would it be? Describe it. It would be a space in light colours(light pink, beige, white, etc.) with an accent like a wall painted with the different colour or bright armchair. There would definitely be flowers, mirrors and cushions to make it cozier. Do you think you are a romantic person? I am a perfectly balanced person! I think that being both a pragmatist and a romantic at the same time is not an easy task! But I am doing very well. I know how to add a drop of creativity and originality to any ordinary event.

ART KELLY BEEMAN
“When I look at art, I absorb the aesthetic elements without analysing them too much. They emerge when I am working, sometimes consciously, other times by pure accident, since all of these references are so ingrained in me.” Kelly Beeman is an artist and fashion illustrator based in New York City and Los Angeles. Her diverse body of work consists of simple, black and white contour drawings of nudes that evolve into fully-rendered watercolor and oil paintings portraying a vivid world composed of clothing, everyday objects, nature, and interior spaces.
Kelly is an artist whose colorful post-expressionist work not only truly inspires, but has also attracted the likes of brands like J.W. Anderson. Artists’s top three sources of inspiration are people, story telling, fashion.

Her drawings capture the season’s collections in considered brushstrokes. From fur-sleeved Dior Haute Couture coats to Lemaire’s tranquil prints. “My figures are sort of like dolls that I am constantly dressing and redressing, and I suppose I just know what they like to wear at this point,” so says Kelly Beeman. Her work has been published in Vogue China, Vogue Korea, Marie Claire Italia, InStyle, Interview Magazine, and Numero Toyko.
All the romanticism of Kelly’s heroines is in their look. They can look quite ordinary and sometimes even be emotionless, but this is the highlight of its romance. For the next trend article, we took Beeman’s black and white illustrations and added the pieces from the runway shows. It has acquired a very unusual and interesting way.

Olga Solovei Photographer based in Kiev talks about her vanguard photoshoot and romanticism. What inspired you for this photo session, and how did this idea occur to you? This session happened as an instant inspiration: I met with a friend who had just come from France; we were discussing how the world politics affected the art. Thus we came over to the discussion of the avant-garde. Both of us were so inspired by this conversation that we decided to make a photo session already that evening. The idea of drawing on a photo is aimed to show how art removes artificial images and masks from a person. How do you think, does romance play an important role in a person’s life? Yes, romance is something unplanned. Romantic little accidents and events, occurred with a certain person, really play an important role because such details inspire and give new energy. And what about fashion industry? I believe, yes. The very energy of inspiration appears precisely from what is kindled inside of us. This can occur due to 50
some conversations and meetings with people, which results in new ideas that encourage the build-up of new creativity. Romance creates masterpieces. Does romance / romanticism inspire you? Romantic situations in life add strength and really make us happy. The best thing is when the romance happens unexpectedly and it really adds inspiration to me; such romance enlivens new thoughts and images.

it would be reflected very beautifully on a minimalistic simple wall and in these shadows I would take photos of a romantic couple. What do you associate romance with? On the one hand, it’s freshness and minimalism, which make you free from everything, and on the other hand, it’s baroque with a lot of details. For me romance is sunsets and touches.

Do you have a work dedicated to romance? If no, would you like to have such one in the future? Once I took a «love story» photo session. This session was not quite of my style, but it was a good experience, which I liked. I saw how inspiration arose between people and how it was transmitted to you personally. In the future I am planning to organize photo sessions in a style that is closer to me, namely those photographing that are based precisely on my own ideas. If I would take photos, it would be about 6 p.m. on the terrain with a fairly simple architecture. When the shadow is thrown from the trees in the evening,
What color do you associate with romance? Why? When the peonies start to blossom, then they do not have one shade; there is a gradient that changes from gently white to a rich crimson.
What locations do you consider the most romantic for photographing?
By the water. It would be beautiful to make a romantic photographing with reflection. If you could organize and take a photo session anywhere in the world, where would you do it? I would do it in zero gravity. Somewhere in space, because it’s very unusual. There would be flying fabrics and bursting colors. I would like to capture the moment when the ball with paint bursts, and they fly into small molecules.
