Inspired by the shape and character of macarons, along with a fresh, spearmint green and white brand colour palette throughout brand deliverables, a polka dot special edition product packaging is shown throughout gift packaging and in store products and design, such as piping bags and tea sets (shown above).

B R A N D S P E C I F I C AT I O N S The simple, typographic logomark, used in both white and the brand colour palette spearmint green PANTONE 565 CP, Gotham Rounded is used in balance, again, with the shape of the macaron products and the polka dot repeat pattern print used on gift packaging and various in store products.

BRIEF

Written in French body copy (associated with the proposed store location of 88 Avenue Bosquet, Paris), the in store menu provides nutritional menu of each of the ten select macaron flavours, along with a brief history and background into the boutique patisserie.

Both brand spearmint green PANTONE 565 CP and polka dot repeat pattern is applied throughout a range of packaging deliverables and in store products.

Pages are colour coded in association with the macaron flavour the information represents, with reversed-out white Gotham Rounded (Medium and Bold weights) body copy.

Spearmint-on-white print products can be found in store, with the reversed-out white-on-spearmint polka dot print can be found on gift set packaging and sleeve covers on La Petit Macaron shopper bags and boxes.

LA PETIT MACARON WEBSITE The proposed La Petit Macaron website maintains a visual consistency with printed brand collateral and deliverables throughout the product range, with an introductory index page with 30% opacity white-onspearmint polka dot print, with left-hand side navigation bar opening content pages providing further information about both the macaron products and the brand itself. Other proposals for social media and online promotion include Tumblr, Pinterest and Twitter, particularly focusing on image-sharing sites to showcase future macaron recipes.

BRIEF

Painted in the brand spearmint green colour palette with brand logomark signage, the small, specialist boutique macaron is proposed to add character and charm to Paris’ high-end Avenue Bosquet.

‘Flavour of the Month’ posters in various macaron flavour associated colours are produced each month to be promoted throughout Central Paris, and as vinyl shop front displays, focusing on body copy and typographic design to adhere to the simplicity and elegance of brand logomark and stationary.
