The Carbondale Mountain Fair depends on the time, kindness, energy and support of many people and businesses, including 500 volunteers to run the fair. If we could kiss you all, we would! If we forgot anyone we promise we will make it up to you in great programming all year round.

Hottest competition at the Fair! Hosted by Diesel Dan, Kitty Kat Rich and Ramona Chingona of the Roaring Fork Divas! Sign-ups are at the Information Booth. Slots fill quickly!

O 5:15PM SINGER SONGWRITER SHOWCASE

The 5 finalists from Round 1 of the Songwriter Competition will perform two more original songs. The winner will play two songs on the main stage before Shinyribs!

G 5:00PM TROPA MAGICA

East L.A. duo, Tropa Magica, made a name for themselves by combining alternative, grunge, and psychedelic rock with cumbia. Having toured nationally and on multiple southwest and west coast tours, they have supported established acts such as Los Lobos, Los Tigres del Norte and Chicano Batman.

C 6:00PM POTTERS RELAY THROWDOWN

CCC is back for another Throwdown Relay under the judging tent. Up to eight teams of four will compete in pottery challenges, two at a time, for the fastest overall time. Located in the Judging Canopy.

OS 6:40PM SOPRIS SOARERS THE WILD WITHIN

Celebrate the human spirit to defy gravity and push the boundaries of what is possible in the air. An aerial expose from our adult sector of the Sopris Soarers academy. Come see your community let loose and show their wild side.

G 8:00PM BRIGHT LIGHT SOCIAL HOUR

This Austin, Texas based indie psychedelic, disco rock band, the Bright Light Social Hour, is iconoclastic and ever-evolving, with five studio albums to date. The band’s music is characterized by its unique and innovative nature, constantly evolving and pushing boundaries. The band is widely known for their explosive live performances, including festivals such as Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza.

Sponsored by Aloha Mountain Cyclery. Fun is our goal and costumes are required. Registration is from 7-7:45AM at the Bike Parking area on Weant Blvd, with the bikers’ safety meeting at 7:45 AM. We RIDE at 8AM!
