As a leading global service provider, the Sodexo brand is in contact with over 50 million consumers daily. To strengthen that identity, Sodexo has launched the Global Uniform Collection. Our Unit Staff are at the front line of our brand, and are our strongest brand representative. As the people who deliver services to our sites and their consumers continuously, our uniform reinforces our brand visibility. The new uniform is being launched in all 34,000 sites across 80 countries and within every segment
that we are operating. We would like to thank the Sodexo team who participated in the photoshoot for the release of the global uniform collection.

Early this year we were asked to answer the Employee Engagement Survey (ESS), which marked 2012 as the Year of Engagement. The ESS is conducted anonymously once every 2 years by a third party agency, Aon Hewitt, in 50 countries.

Overall engagement for APAC was 64%, up from 56% in 2010.
The engagement rate was derived from various key drivers like work activities; learning, training & development; senior leadership; work-life balance and other drivers. We received several positive responses from employees giving us the highest in class within the Region. Sodexo Singapore have received the highest engagement result in the Asia Pacific Region. The results were announced on 8 September 2012 during our Dinner and Dance at SAFRA Mount Faber by Laurent Auzanneau, Senior Vice-President, Sodexo AsiaPacific (APAC). Congratulations to everyone!

The London Olympics may be over, but recently Sodexo Singapore received a Gold Award from the Health Promotion Board. The Gold Award was given for exemplary Workplace Health Promotion programme in 2012. Achieving high marks in most of the criteria, the award recognises Sodexo’s commitment to your health. On 30th November 2012, we will be receiving the award at the Singapore HEALTH Award Presentation Ceremony, at Raffles City Convention Centre. This accomplishment is dedicated to all of our employees who supported the programmes, as well as the organisers who have assisted to maintain our work-life balance. CONGRATULATIONS, and let’s continue to keep fit !

The Offshore team is delighted to announce that they have achieved the 2 Million Man-Hours without Lost Time Injury mark in August 2012 for all operations of Sodexo Singapore’s Offshore segment. This is a big achievement for our Offshore team with their hard work and commitment to QHSE in every offshore site that we operate all over the world. Our services cover our client’s project throughout the whole life cycle. We take care of all of their crew and their quality of daily life. It is through the continuous commitment to safety from all staff that we have achieved this success. This is just the first step in many milestones to come.

The night was young and the sun had just begun to set. Over 400 of our staff gathered together for “Sodexo Singapore’s Retro meets Disco – Dinner & Dance 2012” at SAFRA Mount Faber.
The vibrant party atmosphere can be felt once you entered the venue. Everyone was dressed to the style of the 60s to 80s. The programme kicked off with the presentation of the following: Long Service Awards, Productivity Awards, QHSE Awards, Marketing Award and Servathon Spotlight Awards in recognition of the staff’s achievements. The first course was served by a parade of HODs and HQ staff. Danny Koh performed a fire act while Norislicious, a stand-up comedian, gave the party more color and laughter. Delightful entertainment was also given by our very own staff at the Sodexo Got Talent competition.
