By discussing one possible explanation after another to disprove the Resurrection, this text ultimately proves it is unreasonable to doubt that Jesus rose from the dead. Possible explanations that could disprove the Resurrection include other reasons the tomb may have been found empty, how and why Joseph of Arimathaea or Pontius Pilate might have removed Our Lord’s body, and the possibility that Jesus was not actually dead when they removed His body from the cross. Analyzes the Apostles’ accounts of events and what their motives may have been if the story was not true. Even considers whether the Apostles and over 500 other people may have imagined or hallucinated the events surrounding the Resurrection. Other evidence considered includes scriptural accounts from the Gospels, Saul’s conversion, and the changed attitudes of the Apostles several weeks after Christ had been crucified. Ultimately, findings prove the Resurrection is a fact and it was a miracle.
