FRIENDS o f SOUTHEASTERN

I

pray this annual report finds you well. As we have begun a new year, it is an honor to continue the work of equipping our students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission.

We believe God has been especially generous to our institution and we are grateful. He is rewarding the faithfulness of Southern Baptists and Southeastern supporters with well-trained graduates who are pushing back the darkness and advancing the Kingdom in over 41 countries around the world. As of this current semester, He is allowing us to train more than 3,400 students who will become the next wave of graduates. He is demonstrating great kindness through the growth of our Kingdom Diversity Initiative and how it is actively changing the make-up of our student body to reflect His Kingdom. It’s my joy to share with you some specific details from the 2014-2015 academic year at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and The College at Southeastern. We are grateful for what the Lord has done and hopeful about what He will do. Your prayers and support continue to make a difference. We remain passionate to take the gospel to the ends of the earth, but we know we could not do this without the Lord’s work through the hearts of His people. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. Because you give, we are going. God bless,

Daniel L. Akin President, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
