BIG MAN Modular designs, builds and installs sustainable ‘A’ rated modular homes in their factory in Bandon. Big Man Modular takes the pain out of building and offers a one-stop-shop for their clients from concept to having a fully finished home with a fraction of the stress.

Set up as Big Man Tiny Homes in 2018 by JP Simpson, the business evolved over the years with Niall Lehane coming onboard as co-owner and director in 2021 and the business was re-branded to Big Man Modular. They now have a dynamic team with five employees who have a diverse skill set and they also have several sub-contractors.

HENNESSY Outdoors, based in Clonakilty, employs 18 staff. They provide high quality garden timber products, playhouses, furniture, sheds, fencing and swing sets to customers nationwide to ensure years of enjoyment outdoors.

In the past year, they have extended their product range to include over 18 different children’s ride-on vehicles, having responded to interest from their customers.

Their products are provided to customers flat packed with full instructions for selfassembly.

They also offer third party assembly with their Munster and Leinster assembly partners for customers that require it.

The company’s customer base extends from Malin Head to Mizen Head and they have experienced impressive growth in both online sales and phone sales.

Their very successful website was launched in February 2020 and provides customers with details, images, videos and pricing information on their full product range, allow- ing for both nationwide delivery and local pick up at their factory in Clonakilty.

They also recently opened a product showroom in Douglas, Cork City to showcase their range of garden furniture and children’s ride-on toys which has proven very popular.
