your wellbeing
ORGANICO’S mission is to enable you to live a healthier, happier and tastier life. Sisters Hannah and Rachel Dare own and run Organico and it was their parents who opened the shop originally nearly 30 years ago in Bantry. They started the business to make healthy, organic food available to the local community here in West Cork. Over the course of 30 years, it continues to be a business with community at its heart.

They make healthy food and organic breads from scratch because they believe the community should have access to the best food. They have added a deli and bakery where they invite you to take part in the connection and community that accompany a shared love of fresh, healthy food, great coffee and dedication to naturally good health. Their shop offers everything for your health and wellbeing needs, including supplements, vitamins and minerals, body care and household items. These items are also available to buy online. They also sell bulk items such as organic grains, rice, oats, flour and more both instore and online.
Education is central to their mission - the team are constantly learning and they share this knowledge of health and healthy living with the community. They offer a space where people can be inspired to make the changes they need to get well and stay well. You can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that every choice you make with Organico is a healthy one — good for yourself, your family and the environment.
After 30 years in business, they are facing their most challenging time, but they are determined to dig deep and work though, with the support of their community.
