OPP conclude accident investigation

LEAMINGTON - Essex County OPP have concluded their investigation into the crash that killed three local residents on March 13.

At about 7:57 pm on Sunday, March 13, a lone vehicle traveling on Mersea Rd. 8 left the roadway and struck a bridge abutment and caught fire.

Leamington Fire and Essex-Windsor EMS attended the scene and found three deceased persons inside the vehicle.

The three occupants have now been identified as Alexander Beleutz, 40, of Leamington, Michael Cabral, 41, of Chatham-Kent, and Kamila Lenart, 41, of Wheatley.
