Santa tours Wheatley streets

WHEATLEY — It’s unknown if Santa and Mrs. Claus were just out for a joy ride, or if they were plotting out their delivery route for Christmas Eve, but they were spotted spreading cheer along the streets of Wheatley on Friday, December 11.

The mini-parade was set up by a number of active citizens of Wheatley, who thought the town could use some holiday cheer.

Volunteers included Lisa Derbyshire, Kim Simard-Grubb, Wendy, Jeff and Brett Bowman, Kelsey Almasi, Deb Culley, Tracy Loop, Mitchell Prudence, Lauren Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

The Wheatley BIA stepped up with the sound system and many others had a hand in making this happen behind the scenes.
