ProjectBrief Collect details of the organisation structure, departments, their activities, interaction etc. Follow production of only running style form sourcing depart-ment till despatch & documentation. Analysis of garments/ products being made in the organisation with details of specific country / buyer target market, pricing de-tails, type of materials, size, quality acceptance parameter etc. These analysis of 10 styles need to be done on a case study method. Study in detail and document the method used in terms of se-lection of materials, consumption, costing methods. Study and document the assembly system prevailing in
the organisation (piece rate, batch system, progressive bundle sys-tem) with details of all charts, documents, reports etc. existing in company. Study and document the cutting process, machinery existing (types, make and utility etc), packaging process, material stor-age & routing of material etc. Study the different types of finishes used in trims and leather. Develop at least 50swatches and 2 collection based on target market requirement of the organisation, devel-oping lines of garments/products for the company in the same manner as design process is done.

FUNCTIONING All the products that come under justanned are sold online through e-commerce websites and its own website i.e www.justanned,com. When a particular design of a product get approved by the Head Designer, tech-pack of the product is given to the merchandiser. Merchandiser consulting with the production manager gets a sample made. The merchandiser, designer and production decides whether the product is aesthetically appealing and commercially viable at the same time. If these three people agree then the produc is sent for production. Photoshoot of the product is done and sent to different e-commerce websites for promotion. Account manager of the company checks the orders Orders received from Uniware is then compiled and sent to the warehouse. In the warehouse the products are packed, made ready for dispatch and the inventory is updated accordingly that come in the seller panel. The different seller panels of justanned is linked to a software called Uniware.

The growth in demand is driven by the fashion industry, especially footwear, furniture and interior design, and the automotive industry, among others. The Indian leather industry occupies a place of prominence in the Indian economy in view of its substantial export earnings and growth, besides the fact that it employs 2.5 million people. India’s leather industry has witnessed robust growth, transforming from a mere raw material supplier to a valueadded product exporter. In fact, today, almost 50 per cent of India’s leather business comes from international trade. With time indian customers are also developing interest towards leather products. Leather products are not so much popular india because of the prize range. But brands likeIndian leather brands Justanned , Da Milano, Hidesign are slowly developing a target market here in india. DESIGNBREIF Drudgery means : Dull, irksome, and fatiguing work : uninspiring or menial labour. Taking inspiration from the ARTISANS traditional trade skill and the rough rugged approach the design development consists of a collection of bags with a rough look and feel for Autumn Winter 16/17 . The collection speaks of authenticity with a strong earthy palette.

all winter runway all about rough and tough look DHRUV KAPOOR : runway report : all about leather and rough look TRENDS F/W 2016-17 : FREEDOM, BUT UNDER TIGHT SURVEILLANCE If the previous season inspired poetry, sweetness and surges of optimism, Fall/Winter 2016-17 brought three totally different vibes. Although more guttural
and radical and wild, these trends (sketched by Martine Leherpeur) blend nostalgia for the past with bold styles and material-mixing. The dark/trash trend explodes into a rainbow of Technicolor hues. This season, we escaped reality by blurring the norm. We left the present behind with the Western Bikers who fought the winter season with their urban neocowboy style, the Pop Gamers
who see life through the ’80s, 2D, pixels and color blocks, and the No-Go Zoners who reinvent Soviet styles and trends from a different time and space. Bon voyage to all!
WESTERN BIKERS – THE WILD RIDE even spring summer goes into the rugged feel Tough Girl Leatherthere she goes, the queen of the biker-girl gang. Forget about grunge (for now) - this summer’s reworked motorcycle jacket suggests a sports heroine gone bad, rather than a backstage groupie in her boyfriend’s Perfecto. check team Louis Vuitton (the house monogram emblazons a series of cult leather jackets), fasten the chrome zip all the way, and slip into a kneeskimming kilt. The tough-girl touches don’t end there: watch out for those knuckleduster gloves and pavementpounding tread-sole sandals - if you don’t hear the thrum of her exhaust, there’s always the thump of her nononsense flatforms. The final touch? Sooty lashes.
BRAND REFERENCE AND DESIGNER REFERENCE DHRUV KAPOOR Dhruv Kapoor is a no nonsense guy and so is reflected in his creations. How do you pack wit, humour and sophistication in one collection? See the outfits and you’ll know. With hints of couture (those fur wrap arounds, jackets and those embellished skirts and dresses) and street style (culottes, bomber jackets, boots with socks curled up to the ankles) in his collection, Dhruv presented a collection loaded with everything cool, strong and romantic. Resorting to his uber chic silhouettes and cuts we saw his modern and urbane understandings manifesting on the ramp. The entire collection was replete with boxy jackets, cullotes, leather skirts, fur jackets, well cut coats. The ensemble was accessorised with cool shades, broad leather belts and quirky earring.
