Fast 2. hate to wait 3. hate to be in crowded tram 4. For fitness Its very proper exercise for everyday 5. For pleasure I like fresh air in the morning If it’s rain , I choose tram i nstead of bike 2min walk> Ulrepforte > Ebertplatz > 2min walk I never use smartphone or app while ride 2 years ago I used to listen rock/pop/house music. I don’t remember why I stopped, but maybe because I couldn’t recognised when my colleagues called me.

Rarely use google map app to see where I am when I go to new place. I prefer dedicated bike lane definately. parking lot, both of home and office 5 Absolutely but location, weather would be problem for them

1. How to get general Information ( slide) 1) How do you think infrastructure of cologne I just saw the article that says chlodwigplatz is the spot where traffic accidents occurs the most in cologne . I think that’s because of Darkness, No having bike lane. That’s big problem. I came up with the same idea of you when I pass by Aachener Weiher around 4pm it was too dark to ride a bike though I have quite good front light on the bike. Is there any way to report this problem? Who has responsibility? To whom can I report? ss ssssss 2) How did you know about law, like front light. pedestrians way It’s by chance . That means even if the laws are changes, nothing happen to me. I can’t get a information about that I noticed the front light is compuls ory at a repair shop . And a friend of mine told me that It’s not allowed to ride a bike on the path . I had to get off and bring bike. maybe It’s allowed only for child under 7 years old. but I don’t know if it’s changed so far. 3) have you ever felt car driver is too aggressive or have you ever felt not confident to ride . Absolutely. I have many experiences I felt bad because of them. I nearly crashed with turning car on the corner and he yelled at me. Have you as a car driver ever felt being interrupted by bike rider, when? Rarely. When someone rides on the middle of the road. 4) how do you get information about equipment like front light, any clothes When I bought a new bike 20 years ago, because previous one was stolen. I bought a bike insurance in the shop with bike . That was for first several years that had expired for now. front light I bought it at that time as well. A friend of mine was using warm cover for bike saddle so I bought it in amazon, 8euro.

5) why did you start to ride to bike to go for work? Cause It’s comfortable. (For previous job) I didn’t want to to walk 10min to get to station. And I have been familiar with bike from childhood. 6) Does the bike commuting mean anything more than fastest vehicle for your life? Yes, I realised that I LOVE it rather than NEED it when I went bussiness trip to countryside, out of cologne.I could not ride and I missed it. It’s part of my life. Fresh air, Nice view of river. feeling being healthy. I will keep riding as long as I can

2. During riding 1) Before riding / deciding To decide if you ride or not, Do you check time/ raining/ temperature/ wind by TV, mobile app? I always see the window in the morning to check if there are people who ride a bike and if it’s raining and temperature is Ok . It’s faster than TV or mobile app. Do you use mobile app to check a timetable of tram when you’re going to use it (real time information) Yes. 2) Go through in the city What do you feel in this road

Conflict with car drivers in the corner. Uncomfortable in the gravel car road . I prefer pedestrian path, but at that time I could not because there are people in the path. Biggest problem is broken glasses , hard to figure out. Sometimes a root of tree makes pedestrian path rough as well. 3) on the straight bike lane What do you feel in this road In fall, wet fallen leaves makes the bike lane slippery. I had to be really careful that day as well. Pedestrians walking on bike lane make it dangerous. I ring the bell when it happens. I think all of them know the rules 4) along the river What do you feel in this road I’m satisfied with this road except some places caved in for tree. Do you think anything during riding? Yes I’m able to think about everything. What I did yesterday. What to do today...I like this time. Do you usually say hello to homeless people, other people? Not really. It’s second time that I said hello to them. The time is really irregular even in the morning, but very occasionally I see the same people at the same time in the morning 5) After riding your colleagues know you ride a bike Yes, Almost of them know. I often say about weather like “Oh my god. so cold today!”,entering to office. And I’m proud of that cause that means I’m active, diligent.

3. Opinions (last) Any barriers frustrates you on ride a bike?( weather, nice environment) Next day of Carnival, broken glasses in the street, last year I had to change tire two time in a year. Now I have quite good tire. that is biggest problem for me. Darkness, Sweating in summer

20years for this bike Is the usual time you leave home in the morning(8:40)? Yes, Unless there’s heavy rain or snow. There is not that much traffic or pedestrians in this time Yes, so It’s time to look around(laugh). Most traffic is on 68am, I think. Pedestrian as well.

Are you seeing buildings on the street? Yeah, I really like this way, I really like to see so many old buidings on the street. 19001920s. And in this route I have only 3 traffic lights on a whole way. Is it allowed to ride in this street? This is oneway road for car. but cyclist can ride both directions. (City when its windy) Since couple of weeks, I usually go city center. cause when its so windy in the morning, Pretty hard to ride along the river because there is no building that save you. Wind goes straight. before 10 its allowed to cycle there, afterward just for pedestrians. you have builings in both side. Its not that windy, its easier. and its nice to see something else. (Quicker traffic light)

And usually I go for the up to the next traffic light up there, Cause The reaction is much quicker then here. Here I have to wait quite a while. but actually Its not allow to cycle on the pedestrian way. What do you think about this way?(bike lane) Boring( laugh). compared to the street. Its annoyed that all the cars are there. but it nice that you have river everyday. very small path next to the street. you just have to care about other cyclist not about cars . (river or bike lane?)

Now open to go to the river already. But its always depends on how many people are there(along the river). because when the weather is really good, there are a lot of people,so its easier and faster to take this lane for cyclists. You got into way along the river though there is still bike lane. Yes But it ends. there is ternal and it not allowed to go there by bicycle, So, you have to go this way So, its really annoying that when i have to go sunday, Its crowded. city center : just for pedestrians. turnal: just for cars.. its allowed to ride but have to take care of pedestrians and cannot ringing the bell

You got into way along the river though there is still bike lane. Boarding people. guides. about 50 people. Usully at 9am. then I usully late. they dont make space. just talk“oh look, there’s cyclist!” So, if tourists are there i choose the bike lane. Compared to Evening?. More crowded Sometimes, I go straight but theres a traffic light new street there at the moment much easier and nicer. bike lane For both biker and pedestrians, No cars Summer time, So crowded. Why did your arm stretch out ? habit? No it was just for you. How often do you go to repair shop? 34times a year, Gear’s not working anymore,..... But I mean, is much cheaper than Maintanence cost for car. That is why you cycle? No, I’m just used to it. when I lived , I start cycle 3 years.

Special faster route(Which traffic light is shorter?, In which way do traffic lights appear less?) why should they gice who use ir? elements google map time is important windy light hints where is area find overlaps what i most for 10min print of result 23 but give feelling than solution 40% findisng idensify touchpoint sytem has a meaning simpler and poetic infomationla need behavior . trace of person , deal with this data how can benifit during your trio : no body want to stop criteria in the end both interface / connect to isuzed 자전거를 촉진하는 가장 이상적인 방법으로서 통근자들을 자전거타게 하는 것을 생각했다 자전거 통근자들의 인포메이셔날 니즈는? 두 어프로치
