Mental health is vital for overall well-being, but stigma and social and economic barriers often hinder Black Women from seeking support. Despite facing higher rates of depression, anxiety, and postpartum mood disorders, Black Women are less likely to receive mental health services. Culturally competent care tailored to their unique experiences is crucial. Statistics - Black women are 20% more likely to experience serious mental health problems than the general population.
