Direction NJU is located in Yenshui District, Tainan City, which is southern part of Taiwan Island. NJU is easily accessible Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA), Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR), and by car. It takes less than 20 minutes to Hsinying Station of TRA, and/or Chiayi Station of THSR.

Curriculum: With the aim of producing qualified academic and practicing construction engineers, the undergraduate program is designed to give the students a broad general training in basic principles and to further enhance their abilities in analyzing, designing and experimental work. The main areas are engineering management, structures and materials and geotechnical engineering. The curriculum is subdivided into three core modules, which are Construction Management, Structures & Materials and â—?Evel etur accumquae. Ita

Geotechnical Engineering. The former comprises the courses related to Engineering Estimate of Cost, Concrete quality control and practice, Engineering Construction and Management. The Second consists of the courses related to Structure, Reinforced Concrete, and Engineering Materials, Material Mechanics while the last module comprises the course of Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Rock Engineering, and Tunneling Engineering.

Course contents: Courses of Constructional Management module: Engineering Estimate of Cost, Concrete quality control and practice, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Construction Drawing, Surveying (I) (II), Surveying Practice (I) (II). Courses of Structure & Materials module: Testing of Engineering Materials, Engineering Materials, Material Mechanics, Structure (I), Reinforced Concrete, Basic Concepts of Computer, and Computer-Aided Drawing. Courses of Geotechnical Engineering module: Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Rock Mechanics, Engineering Geology, Hydrology, Engineering Mechanics, Geographic Information System, Ground Improvement, Conservation of Water and Soil Engineering.
