ePharmaset PDM-3001 Pedometer

ePharmaset PDM-3001 is a professional digital pedometer with USB interface for PC connection. It features with 3-axis accelerometer sensor that can enable accurate activity measurement independent of orientation by intelligent algorithm to filter out background vibration and quantify real physical activity. The basic functions include clock, stop watch, alarm & 60 days memory of recording steps/calorie/distance. Besides, it also supports data-uploading to the Portal of telecare-service.com from Client end (PC/NB or smart phone). Users can customize the personal settings to calculate distance and calories, and then the data can be saved to local application or cloud computer center for trend chart and history review afterward.

Functions of the buttons [MODE]: To shift the data views among 3 modes. [SET]: To set up date, time and other parameters. [MEM/DATE]: Two Functions, a. Press to review the present date. b. Operation Instruction 1. Basic Functions Switching he USB pedometer has 3 kinds of basic modes: steps/clock mode, calorie/ stop watch mode, and distance/alarm mode. Switch between these modes by pressing the [Mode] key.

2. Setting time and date Select Steps/Clock mode. Press [Set] button for 2 seconds; “Hour” figure will flash. Press [Set] button to choose the number which you want to set, including time and date. Press [▲] or [▼] to increase or decrease each value. Hold button to change value fast. Press [Set] button to confirm each value and move to the next. Press [Mode] button to exit setting mode (automatic exit after 1 min with no button press). Pedometer will not record steps during setting mode. 3. Setting personal information

In the Steps/Clock mode, press both [▲] and [▼] at the same time for 5 seconds. By pressing [Set] key, you can then view and set gender, age, metric/imperial units, weight and stride length. By pressing [▲] or [▼], you can adjust each value, and then press [Set] to confirm. The setting ranges are age: 6-80 years, weight: 10-150 kg (22-330 lb), stride: 10-150 cm, (4-60 inch). The default settings are age: 20 years, weight: 60 kg (130 lb), stride: 60 cm (24 inch). Press [Set] to move through settings and then exit the setting mode 4. Reviewing History data Press [MEM/DATE] and hold for 4 seconds to get into history mode. This mode will show the current date and cycle between displaying steps, calories and distance. Press [▲] or [▼] to change the date and view the total step/calorie/distance data from previous days.

5. Date check In the Steps/Clock mode press [MEM/DATE] to view date, Press [MEM/DATE] to return to Steps/Clock mode (or automatic returns after 1 minute with no button press). 6. Using Stopwatch Press [MODE] to get into Stopwatch mode (Calorie view). Press [▲] to start or stop stopwatch. After stopping stopwatch, press [SET] to reset stopwatch. While stopwatch is recording, press [SET] to note a lap time or interim time (SPL function). Display shows the interim time but stopwatch continues counting. Press [SET] again to return to the stopwatch counting view. The maximum stopwatch value is 99 hours, 59 min, 59.99 sec. 7. Setting up alarm Press [Mode] twice to view Distance/Alarm mode. Press the [▲] button to switch alarm on or off (small bell icon appears when alarm is on). Press and hold the [Set] button for 2 seconds to change the alarm time (hour units flash). Adjust hours and minutes by pressing [▲] or [▼] (hours in 24 hour clock) Confirm each value by pressing [Set]. 8. Uploading data to computer The USB Pedometer can save daily step data for up to 60 days. The data can be uploaded to a PC or web platform using the USB connector and software. If you don’t upload data for more than 50 days, “Bi” will appear on the display as a reminder. If you don't upload data for more than 60days, data recorded from greater than 60 days before will be lost. When data is uploaded to a PC, the LCD will display “PC Link” and the stored data from the memory will be cleared. e. Data of today can not be uploaded by end of today.
