CAMP COSMO GRAND ISLAND Every Girl Scout needs a getaway and this may be just the place for you! Camp “Cosmo” Cosmopolitan is a sparkling, river-side camp property with programs that are as diverse and interesting as the Girl Scouts who attend them! CAMP CROSSED ARROWS NICKERSON If you want to see amazing ecosystems, dense woods, meadows and bluffs, then sign up for one of the many programs we offer at Camp Crossed Arrows. Best known for horse programs, colorful yurts and now the new five-station zip line tour! This camp is accredited by the American Camp Association which requires thorough and rigorous compliance for operations, staffing qualifications and safety standards.

Beginner Horse Camp

JCSA Designed for the beginning rider. Start your adventure by learning the basics in the arena, then ride the trails of Camp Crossed Arrows. Learn the basics of equine care while having fun with your camp friends. Girls must be entering 4th grade or above. Three adult volunteers are needed and welcome to ride with the girls each day. CAMP MAHA PAPILLION Perched above the banks of the winding Platte River, Camp Maha is the perfect setting to embrace your inner explorer. Girls will experience new adventures in a safe and structured environment that provides all-day care during the summer months. My Summer Place Day Camp

DBJCS Activities may include field trips, swimming, earning Girl Scout badges and patches, arts and crafts, healthy living, and exploring new interests in and around the Omaha area! One full week in July will be spent at Camp Maha, where the girls will discover nature. The My Summer Place Open House will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at Lewis and Clark Middle School, 6901 Burt St., Omaha. *Parents/guardians may drop girls off as early as 7:30 a.m. Please note that the site does not open until 7:30 a.m. Girls must arrive at the site no later than 9 a.m. each day, as most of the programming begins at this time. Most structured activities, including badge work and field trips, happen between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Parents/guardians must inform My Summer Place staff if they need to drop-off or pick-up their daughter(s) during these hours. Pick-up begins at 4 p.m. Girls must be picked up by 5 p.m.** Breakfast is served at the site from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. Girls should bring a sack lunch each day. A monthly calendar of field trips and activities will be provided. An additional $25 will be charged for girls who are not current Girl Scout members Financial aid is available for up to 50% of the cost for those who qualify. All payments will be required regardless of attendance. **My Summer Place will close at 5 p.m. daily. Parents/guardians picking up their daughter(s) after closing will be charged a $10 fee for every 10 minutes they are late. S A   Visit Shizuoka, Japan, located at the foot of beautiful Mount Fuji, and enjoy a homestay with sister Girl Scouts from Japan. In addition to building cross-cultural friendships, we’ll enjoy events and festivities related to the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics!
