Lakeview Cabin

Lakeview Cabin is very popular with Girl Scouts! It’s spacious, climate-controlled for both summer and winter use, has modern bathrooms and showers, and two fully-equipped kitchens. The spacious deck will surely become your favorite spot for taking it easy while staying here. The cabin has great views and includes a sandy beach along North Platte’s Lake Maloney for supervised canoeing, kayaking, or swimming. No matter the activity—everyone has an AMAZING time!

Ride twice a day with an overnight camping experience in Halsey National Forest setting up camp, cooking your own meals, and caring for the horses. There’s nothing like sleeping outside with the sound of neighing horses nearby. Camping readiness is a must for this amazing horseback riding adventure. *Girls must be entering 5th grade or above. When not riding, swim at our private beach, kayak on Lake Maloney, and make horsey crafts. Visit the Buffalo Bill Ranch to tour the famous barn and visit the old west town at the Lincoln County Museum to conquer the scavenger hunt! *Girls must be entering 3rd grade or above. Join the Archery League!

Grades 4-12 Sunday, April 23, 2023 – Sunday, August 27, 2023 Join the Archery League, created by Gold Award Girl Scout, Hailey. Learn about the amazing sport of archery or improve your current skills, including how to handle compound and recurve bows, using safety equipment, and best practices. At the end of summer, we will have a friendly competition, with family and friends in attendance, so you can show off your skills! You will be grouped with others close to your experience level when competing.
