Monica Brandner is President of by m. brandner an Image and Etiquette business located in Spokane, Washington and Juneau, Alaska. As Mrs. Alaska 1998, she learned that the combination of a polished image and strong social skills create confidence and are important for prosperity in today’s global society. Monica has over 8 years experience in the etiquette and image industry. She is certified through Final Touch Finishing School and is a member of AICI (Association of Image Consultants International). Monica is co-author of the book “My Style, My Way,” and is currently writing a children’s series for girls ages 3-6, called “The Etiquette Princess.” She also inspires women with her speaking at women’s conferences and has created events for teen girls called, “Radiant”. The foundation of her classes and books are based on kindness and respect for self, others and property. She has presented programs for public and private schools, numerous clubs, churches, associations, and companies. Her warm, humorous and interactive teaching style leaves her clients aged 5 to 75 wanting more.

Introduction to Orienteering Discover the sport of orienteering which combines racing with navigation using a map and compass. Navigate over unfamiliar trails and terrain from point to point; this sport can be enjoyed as a walk in the woods or as a competitive sport. Beginning Country Dances

This class focuses on the box step essentials from Rumba, Foxtrot and Waltz. Students will learn box figures that can be used in all three rhythms, allowing couples to dance to Waltz, Foxtrot or Latin Music. Wedding couples will be given entrances and exits for their big dance and may bring their wedding song to class if they have chosen one. Class is designed to teach beginners the basics, but will have techniques and figures sure to challenge already accomplished dancers. Ages: Adults; Ages 16 & Up Day: Wed.
