30 Years of Service The Spokane Association of REALTORS® recognized Rob Higgins (pictured) for 30 years of service to the REALTOR® organization at the September meeting of the Washington REALTORS® Board of Directors. Higgins joined the Spokane association as its executive officer in 1985. He began his real estate career as a commercial broker in Spokane in 1979. His leadership of the Spokane Association of REALTORS® spans more than a third of its history from its founding in 1911. Higgins served as Spokane City Coulcil member from 1982 through

1989, then again from 1998 through 2003; he was Council President from 2001 through 2003. Higgins has been on numerous regional boards and committees over the years, as well as a Spokane Guild’s School trustee and a Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital Clubhouse volunteer. He is a Gonzaga Prep graduate, an Eastern Washington university alumnus (B.A.), and Texas A&M University alumnus (M.A.). He is a U.S. Army veteran. Higgins and his wife Barbara have three children and five grandchildren.
