ANDY BROWN (Gyp DeCarlo) is delighted to return to the Springer as a resident company member for the 2024-2025 season! ALEXANDER WILLIAMS (Ensemble, Dance Captain) is a first-year resident actor at the Springer but no stranger to the family! Having finished his first summer teaching at the Springer Theater Academy, he is ecstatic to be around for a long-term run this season. He’ll have multiple ensemble roles including Schoolhouse Rock Jr. Live! (Tom), as well as Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Sylvester). He thanks God for the immense growth and the Springer for bringing him into the family. Let’s wish him well!
CLARENCE EDMOND (Ensemble) is a local native and excited to return to the Springer for his fourth production. He trained in vocal performance with the collegiate choral at Alabama A&M University, where he also became a member of music fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Inc. He was last seen in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Drifter/ Ensemble), here at the Springer. You can catch Clarence performing at various venues in the city and surrounding areas. He looks forward to many more adventures with his Springer family!
JASPER M. HOWELL (Ensemble, Joe Pesci) is excited to return to the Springer stage! He holds a BsEd in Teaching Artistry from Columbus State University and was a Springer Theater Academy student for 14 years. Some of his favorite roles include Cat in the Hat (Cat), The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Peter), Evil Dead (Deadite), and many others! He thanks his late grandfather, Jimmy Howell, for enrolling him in the Academy at the age of five and starting him on this journey.
RORY CABRERA (Frankie Valli U/S) is a graduate of Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University, where he earned his Bachelor of Music. He is thrilled to perform his dream role in the show that first inspired him to pursue a career in performing. This marks Rory’s fourth show with Springer, having previously appeared in Evita, Cinderella, and Evil Dead
CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL MILLIGAN (Ensemble, Bob Gaudio U/S) is thrilled to be back at Springer! JON LE GALLAIS (Ensemble) is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at Columbus State University and a returning performer to the Springer stage. His prior Springer appearances include Bear Country (Paul Bryant). He has performed with Dollywood in multiple productions of It’s a Wonderful Life, and toured internationally with a stage adaptation of Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. He has also been seen on several stages in and around Atlanta.
WILLIAM OLIVER (Ensemble) earned a BFA in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University. A Columbus, native, he has been acting since he was seven and has portrayed some of his favorite roles on stage and in film that include August Wilson’s Fences (Springer Theater) and the feature film Electric Jesus. William was nominated for the prestigious NAACP Image Award for his performance in the film Sunday Dinner. William thanks you all for coming and reminds you to keep chasing your dreams!
COURTLYN HOLT (Ensemble) is excited to be back for the season as a Resident Actor here at the Springer! Some of Courtlyn’s favorite Springer production credits are Elvis (Dixie/Ann-Margret), Cabaret (Lulu/ Sally u.s), Murder on the Orient Express (Greta Ohlsson), The Little Mermaid (Ariel u.s/ Ensemble), The Minutes (Mrs. Matz), Little Shop or Horrors (Audrey), White Christmas (Rhoda), Shrek the Musical (Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy), and both productions of Evil Dead (Linda). MAYA ISABELLA (Ensemble) is so excited to be onstage at the Springer! She recently moved to the Atlanta area and works in the city as an actress/vocal coach. If you have supported theatre in the Tyrone area, you may have seen her in Elvis: A Musical Revolution (Gladys), and Annie (Ensemble) both at the Legacy Theater. Her favorite credits are Shrek the Musical (Fiona) and Bonnie and Clyde (Blanche) both with Mountain Movers Theatre Company. PRODUCTION BIOS
KEITH MCCOY (Director) has worked successfully as a theatre professional for more than twenty years and is now the Springer’s Associate Artistic Director. He is a native of Portsmouth, Va., and graduate of Norfolk State University. Keith Patrick McCoy is a creative, skilled professional actor, director, choreographer, writer, and arts educator. His endeavors have allowed him to work in many venues, from indoor to outdoor, regional theatres, summer stock companies, national tours, and theme parks throughout the United States. He has also performed at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world and takes place in Scotland’s capital city.
JARRED LEE (Music Director) is an accomplished music director with a background in vocal performance, having earned his degree from Montclair State University. With experience in the arts and higher education, he has contributed to the academic and artistic communities at both Rider University and Pace University. Jarred’s expertise in music direction and his passion for vocal artistry have made him a respected figure in the field, where he continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of performers.
JESS ADAMS (Production Stage Manager) has been involved with the Springer for over a decade in various roles including No Shame volunteer, scenic artist, intern, stage manager, and shadow cast member of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. They hold a BA in Theatre from Columbus State University. Jess leads the stage management team in coordinating the artistic process for each production. WALTER PIGFORD (Technical Director) is from Georgia, graduating from Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus (previously known as Armstrong State University) with a BA in theater. After graduating he lived in NYC for 4 years working on the Off-Broadway circuit and working full time as the Assistant Technical Director at Pace University. He has worked at various regional theaters around the country but is glad to be back in his home state bringing theater to the Columbus community.
KATIE UNDERWOOD (Master Electrician) is a senior member of the Springer administrative staff responsible and also one of several directors on our staff. Past credits include The Wizard of Oz and The Great Gatsby. As the primary lighting designer for productions taking place in our McClure Theatre her favorite designs include Ace: The Eugene Bullard Story, The Jungle Book, and Mother of Rain. Katie is a Springer Theatre Academy alumni and a graduate of the CSU with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology. She completed her MBA from Kennesaw State University and serves as an adjunct faculty member for the CSU department of Theatre.
ALEX ALLISON (Costume Designer) has worked as a costume and wig designer across the US. He has worked with notable companies such as the York Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival (BTF), Norwegian Creative Studios and others. He is currently the Resident Costume Designer at the Springer Opera House. NYC), Shrek the Musical, White Christmas, The Bodyguard, Little Shop of Horrors (Springer), Grease (Temple Theatre). He worked on Jersey Boys, Swing the Musical and Warren Carlyle’s Havana! At Norwegian Creative Studios (Wardrobe Supervisor).
PATTI JO FENZEL (Props Designer) earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Design and Technology from CSU in 2010 and has worked in theaters around the country including Florida Repertory Theater, Texas Shakespeare Festival and Opera New Jersey.
CALEB HUNEYCUTT (Sound Designer/Engineer) is a graduate of Columbus State University he earned a BFA in Theatre Design and technology with a concentration in Sound Engineering. He originally was a volunteer at the Springer in 2020 and now is the resident sound designer and engineer. He has previously worked at CSU as the Technical Engineer during the 2023 GRT Summer stock.
SULAIMAN RAHMAN AS-SALAAM
(Lighting Designer) is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Since becoming a part of the theatre community in 2012 and venturing into designing in 2014, Sulaiman has worked to hone their craft as a designer. They spent a season as the Professional Arts Training Program (PATP) Lighting Design Intern at the Seattle Rep Theater. Sulaiman graduated from Columbus State University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology.
