CAST

ANDREW MOZINGO (George) is thrilled to make his Springer debut. He is a recent graduate of Columbus State University where he received his BFA in Theatre Performance and completed the Dance Minor program. Some of his previous credits include Treasure Island (Long John Silver, Missoula Children’s Theatre), The Prom (Barry Glickman, Georgia Repertory Theatre), The Last Stop on Market Street (Ensemble, CSU), Pippin (King Charlemagne, CSU) and Ragtime the musical (J.P. Morgan, Perry Players). He is excited to be back on stage and bringing this show to life with this wonderful cast and creative team. He hopes you enjoy the show!

COURTLYN HOLT (Dina) is excited to be back for the season as a resident actor here at the Springer! Some of Courtlyn’s favorite Springer’s productions credits are Elvis (Dixie/ Ann-Margret), Cabaret (Lulu/ Sally u.s), Murder on the Orient Express (Greta Ohlsson), The Little Mermaid (Ariel u.s/ Ensemble), The Minutes (Mrs. Matz), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), White Christmas (Rhoda), Shrek the Musical (Gingy/Sugar Plum Fairy), and both productions of Evil Dead (Linda). Some of her other favorite credits include Legally Blonde (Elle Woods) and Pippin (Fastrada). Courtlyn would like to thank her mentors, friends, family and the Springer Opera House for their constant love and support!

ALEXANDER WILLIAMS (Tom) is a first-year resident actor at the Springer but no stranger to the family! Having finished his first summer teaching at the Springer Theater Academy, he is ecstatic to be around for a long-term run this season. He’ll have multiple ensemble roles including Schoolhouse Rock Jr. Live! (Tom), as well as Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Sylvester). He thanks God for the immense growth and the Springer for bringing him into the family. Let’s wish him well!

HALO WHEELER (Shulie) is a Birmingham, Alabama native and graduate of the illustrious Howard University. Halo has opened for singers such as Frankie Beverly and Maze, Chrisette Michelle and Kelly Price. She made her Springer debut in May 2023 with Beautiful and is excited to be returning to the Springer stage for the 24-25 season. She has graced the stage in many productions such as Little Shop of Horrors, Once on This Island, Dreamgirls, Shrek and many more. Halo lives by the Eric Thomas quote “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” She thanks her family and friends who have made a great impact on her life thus far. WILLIAM OLIVER (Joe) earned a BFA in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University. A Columbus, Georgia native, he has been acting since he was seven and has portrayed some of his favorite roles on stage and in film that include August Wilson’s Fences (Springer Theater) and the feature film Electric Jesus. William was nominated for the prestigious NAACP Image Award for his performance in the film Sunday Dinner William thanks you all for coming and reminds you to keep chasing your dreams!

LARREN WOODWARD (Dori) is thrilled to return as resident actor for the 2024-2025 Springer season! You may recognize her from past Springer productions such as Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Murder on the Orient Express (Countess Endrenyi) and countless ensemble roles. Other professional credits include roles in Matilda (Miss Honey, Cumberland County Playhouse), Newsies (Katherine Plumber, Peach State Summer Theatre), and It’s a Wonderful Life (Mary Bailey, Dollywood). Huge thanks to Mom, Dad, Trey, Eevee, Scooby, Selena, the “Emperor,” and Walter for being the wind beneath her wings! Enjoy the Show!
