Enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks in one of the pristine parks or meandering trails that can be found throughout the region. Just within the Springfield-Greene County Park system, there are more than 100 locations, from playgrounds to golf courses and a botanical center. Explore Sequiota Park, take an evening walk through the gorgeous Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden or view wildlife at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center.

If you’re looking for even more ways to explore the great outdoors in Springfield, the network of trails known as Ozark Greenways is exactly where you need to be. Ozark Greenways works with the city of Springfield and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board to build out Springfield’s greenway trail network. There are currently over 73 miles built for biking, walking and running.
