ender neutrality has influenced everything from baby names to restrooms. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to find the idea has seeped its way into Pantone’s color(s) of the year—yes, there are two. In addition, the authority on color has made history by selecting two colors this year—rose quartz and serenity. We rounded up tips on how to incorporate the gender-neutral colors into your spring brunch, home and wardrobe. Prime your style with rose quartz in “Color of the Year” (page 12) and adorn your place with the latest design trends in “Keep Calm and Color On” (page 20). Then, learn to “Design Like a Pro” (page 24) with decorating tips from an expert and throw a “Peach of a Party” (page 48) as you entertain using Pantone’s peach echo spring color. We highly recommend venturing out to The Original Round Top Antiques Fair this spring. It’s the perfect place to embark on a “Treasure Hunt” (page 62) for that one-of-akind piece. For those wanting to journey beyond the great state of Texas, travel to Ireland for an authentic Irish experience as you uncover what the locals know in “Gaelic Magic” (page 64)— you might even come away speaking with an Irish brogue. However, if Ireland isn’t on your bucket list this year, then you can still enjoy a taste of the Emerald Isle in the comfort of your own home by trying a “Gaelic Gardener” (page 14).
