SRUC's BVSci Veterinary Science degree* is different by nature and sits alongside our Veterinary Nursing and pathway programmes to form Scotland's newest School of Veterinary Medicine

Veterinary Nursing and Veterinary Care courses are offered along with the first of our pathway HNDs in Rural Animal Health, which as well as training students to work as veterinary technicians offers those who excel in the course the opportunity to apply to the BVSci

In preparation for the School of Veterinary Medicine the Aberdeen Campus has undergone a large-scale programme of renovations and upgrades A new state of the art Veterinary Clinical Skills Lab complements the equine facilities and large animal handling unit at Sunnybrae, Tulloch, our working livestock farm and the Ferguson building where expansion includes additional classroom and lecture spaces as well as refurbishments to the library and catering areas

SRUC, which has more animal and veterinary scientists than almost any institution in Europe, has a national network of veterinary hubs providing a solid basis for a distributed model of learning and our Consulting offices give us unparalleled links to real rural business
