The Greenkeeping & Golf Course Management team at SRUC Elmwood have over 30 years’ experience of delivering a range of courses for the professional sports-turf industry

The department has been at the forefront of turf management education and attracts students from UK, Europe, Asia and Africa Our graduates gain a broad perspective of the industry, whilst developing their knowledge and skills in those areas most relevant to working on golf courses and moving into management positions; a key emphasis is on embedding sustainability & innovation into our curriculum and working in partnership with Alumni and leaders in the sector to deliver a unique learning journey

The Old Course (St Andrews whilst amongst the many and varied ancient playing grounds of Scotland, is unique as the place where the game grew into the global sport we now recognise, and serves as a beacon for the very essence of Sustainability.
