Keeping your children safe
Kings Road Campus As you know, City College Plymouth are in the process of building a state of the art new Regional STEM Centre of Excel‐ lence on the Kings Road campus. Sincere apologies for any disrup on this is causing, par cularly related to the challenges placed on parking. The STEM Centre will be a resource that will benefit the whole community and provide a rich learning environment for future students, contribu ng to the wealth and prosperity of the city. Please feel welcome to look at the virtual display in the foyer of the main entrance at Kings Road which gives an ar st im‐ pression of how the Centre , due to be completed in 2017, will look.
Please ensure we have up to date contact details including phone numbers and email addresses. We need to be able to contact you while your children are in a endance. We also need up to date photos of all people who are authorised to collect your children—this is con‐ di onal for registra on/a endance.
Nursery Fees Thank you for your pa ence with our new system of issuing nursery statements. Please remember, nursery fees are due a month in advance of a end‐ ance. The statements are to show the balance of your account each month. The online shop has been set up to make it easier to pay your fees— please speak to Wendy or Lucie if you need help accessing the store.

Nursery Playground—KR
The rain and stormy weather have taken their toll on the playground at Kings Road, which has unfortunately been prone to flooding during the last two years. Whilst we do encourage children to pop their wellingtons and waterproofs on for out‐ door play in all weathers, we have had to cordon off the slippery part of the play‐ ground. We are wai ng for the local water authority to address the drainage issues, as this is unfortunately outside the control of the College and Kings Road Nursery.
Holidays Easter Holiday dates: Bank Holiday Monday 28 March to Friday 8 April inclusive.
Please do remember to bring a variety
of different clothing to nursery, including wellington boots, warm coats, hats, gloves and warm jumpers for outside play.
We will be closed at GC, and open at KR during the Easter Holiday period.
We will hold Easter Egg hunts in the Forest School Woods, and an Easter Bonnet compe on.
Please also remember to supply changes of clothes for children for day to day needs.
Woodland Plays This year the City College Plymouth drama students will be hos ng an interac ve play in the woods for our nursery children during March. This was a huge success last year, parents are welcome to join their children for the events.– Dates TBC.
